Place is small but they have done optimum use to the available space. Can handle upto 50. If you are going any plays, I recommend you to be quite early or else it wil be difficult to get seating. Lifts and washroom facilities available.
I had been here to witness a stand up kannada improv show. Its a small theatre which has seating arrangement for less than a hundred audience. Compactly-designed with effective lightings.
Quiet small place for an auditorium, but, is an example for well utilised space. The seat seats are good, but needed a little leg room space. Audience do avoid going there on a heavy rainfall day.
This place is a cosy little one and easy to miss. If you have been to large theatres like Ranga Shankara or Ravindra Kalakshetra and expect it to be a big building, you will surely miss it. It’s a commercial building with theatre in the top floor, the board is placed in the corner and you have to squint your eyes to see it, it’s in a quite busy street. Now coming to interior, you have a small parking space in the basement, that’s a definite plus. Thought it’s only for two wheelers. The theatre itself is small with about 80 seats, it did seem a bit crowded to me, may be that’s because the organisers estimated viewership wrong and they were making a soft opening to go on to a big theatre. I think it might be good for small and private productions. The stage is quite small limiting the experimentation, teams have to do a creative workaround for this. It sure will give you a intimate experience as the distance between viewer and actors is small. Coming to facilities, there is parking space as I mentioned earlier, a single washroom, lift, I haven’t asked for water, but I didn’t see a water dispenser, also counter is in the basement beside parking lot. These are from a viewer’s perspective, I do not know what facilities they offer to performers.
This is in the centre of NR colony market with difficult to find parking space. This is a very small roof top auditorium. For small and simple plays this is a good place.
Very small place, very easy to miss as the building or the board is not prominent. Parking available only for 2 wheelers in the basement (note very limited space available). Parking for 4 wheeler is a big hassle. I suggest if you can park near APS college grounds it will be easier.you need to take a walk straight down the road. Acoustics are decent, seating is very compact.
Good little drama theatre. Gives good experience. Around 60 to 70 people can sit. Little tough to locate it on first time. Very near to NR colony bus stop
Does its job well. The location is in the heart of old city close to Gandhi Nagar circle. It's situated within the temple campus which is lush green on a small hillock giving the feeling of a hill station in garden City of Bangalore. The auditorium hard medium capacity of 100+ with a common area acting as art gallery. It had an outside area to sit with restaurant style table chairs. Parking is limited with max 5 cars but lot of such places are needed in India to introduce art, music and culture to our kids
