Very basic facilities available with much adjustments.
For a 3 beded room there is only one fan.
Also your customers come from varies places, if they want some information the owner / management should help at the most possible way.
But here it was not like that.
I know the limitations of home stay but many places home stay are very similar like professional hotels
Just by saying home stay is different than the hostel is not enough
I paid 2000rs and I don't feel it is worth for such facility.

The rooms are neat but not the surrounding.a very money minded person.double occupancy doesnt have the hot water facility inside.they will have to carry it from outside, that too only in mornings for few minutes.after that you need a hot water for your kid also he doesnt care.dont ask him to arrange for any travel / scuba anything.he will charge you lot more than actuals and if you ask for home made food, it will make you feel like a beggar. For a family stay i rate it to be 0.he just gives the room to anyone.no ethics is followed.any number of people.he will allow gangs of people sit and smoke drink in the corridors.after drinking people will roam around your rooms disturbing you for the whole night.he never cares about any of these.just a complete money minded person.

Rooms were very good and all the basic facilities very good and the owner is very friendly prices are very affordable

We paid 2500 which was fine because of new year weekend. And all online stay were booked.
But on non season 1500/- is reasonable

One of the most horrified experience staying over here. Someone needs a good sleep with comfort after traveling such long hours. Didn't have sleep at all. Rooms are fully ventilated with full of mosquitoes and unknown tiny insects. Beds are of low quality. No switch point near to bed. Even single plug point. Single Fan with No regulator, that too all at entrance door. Fan will run at higher speed only. No cupboards, No TV, No AC, No Geyser, No Wifi, No room service, No water bottle or cattle pot, Its heights that aleven at this day there are no shower or butt shower also. What the hell, For what reason you call it as homestay, people dont live in home with bed and fan only. Further, I don't know for what reason they charge amount of Rs 2500/- per night. Very pathetic experience it was. I would definitely not recommend anyone to suffer like us, after traveling such long hours. Even tomorrow again I was shocked. I checked my car rear door handle was broken. They don't have a security for parking also. Overally a worst ever nightmare stay here.

Clean room with basic amenities. It is walkable distance from Murudeshwar temple. Owner stays at ground floor and is a friendly guy. He arranged early morning check-in and check-out. Also guided properly about places to visit. Food needs to be ordered in advance. Top floor room got really hot in afternoon so plan accordingly.

This is nearer to temple at a walkable distance. Rooms are kept neat and clean. However, the bed spreads and pillows are old ones and need a change. Food are served only if ordered in advance. Food taste is ordinary. We can have food at near by hotels instead at this place. No geyser in rooms and hot water is provided on request only. Fan in room do not have regulator and spins in one full speed. It is better to carry mosquito repellant. Soap and toothpaste are to be demanded. The cost of room per day felt costly for the services given.

Good budget homestay in Murdeshwar. I stayed with my family here. Prabhu and his family was really helpful in meeting any needs right from the booking time. Rooms are basic and clean. The locality is also safe. Prabhu also helped us with numerous local travel tips as well. Home cooked food was another highlight, it was really tasty. Wish I had stayed longer, but will surely comeback. Thanks for hosting us - Prabhu amd family.

Best home stay. Dey helped us with milk for my baby. They serve sufficient food. Home stay is near to temple. Very big rooms neat n tidy. Language was not a problem at all.

This is the place where you find a good people and good food! Absolutely awesome place to visit and would come back any time. So peaceful that you can hear nature singing all the time. There are places to explore around especially Murudeshwar Shiva's temple and beach which is 4 mins away from the stay. It has spectacular view of coconut farm around. I suggest everyone to go to this place and you will not regret)

I travelled Solo last week to Murdeshwara n stayed at Prabhu Homestay for a day. Host Prabhu is very humble n helpful person. This is good for budget friendly comfortable stay.

No issues on safety part, as the owner stays in downstairs n accessible all d time over phone as call.

One of the best places that I have stayed till now. It is very clean, and if you want food, you can inform the owner he will make it, either veg or non veg. Food made by him is very delicious. I loved staying here. If you visit murdeshwara this is the best place to stay. One of the top most recommended

Situated in a peaceful location. Clean room and neat washroom. Owners are very polite and provided dinner for reasonable price. They will prepare both veg and non-veg. Food was so tasty. Liked homemade chicken curry.

Worst stay experience.and rude Homestay owner.we stayed there for 2 days in month on December.

Unhygienic
The stale dishes of the people beside our room who had there dinner were left the over night out site our room door when asked the owner to take the dishes as we wanted to have our breakfast he said that the cleaner who comes in the aftenoon will pick it up.

Rude behaviour
the owner has a rude and non adjusting nature. We stayed there for 2 days.since we had the train at around 3 in afternoon we requested them to extend the checkout till 1: 00 -1: 30 so that we can have our lunch and leave but he clearly said no as there were other book which was not true as no one came there to stay.

So we checked out at 12: 00 pm sharp and left our bag outside the home as discuss while booking to which the owner had agreed before later as usual boosted about it like he is doing some favor on us.

As we were about t leave my mom had to use the washroom as we had a long journey ahead so we as him and there was room empty that could be used but he clearly did not care and refuse as he said then the had to clean the wash room again.that is when we had a argument with the rude owner.

I am sure the owner will reply back to my review as he had told me one review would not have change any thing.

AVOID STAYING HERE.

Room was very spacious. Feeling relaxed after long drive. We stayd for one day. Very good room in affordable price. Room are clean and neat. Temple is on walking distance. Property owner is very humble.

(Don't run behind the brokers who promise to provide rooms for low cost. Very risky. It's our own experience. They just take the rent & disappear, if you want anything you can't even contact them. So please don't risk your life for saving some penny. Try to contact the owners & book your rooms)
