It's run by good family members.

Good place. Service and food quality is excellent. About 200m far from Kudle beach and the road is bad. Daily tariff of rooms are also high based on facilities they provide. But the room is spacious and clean. WiFi is very good. Behaviour of people is good. You will get a authentic Konkoni freshly home cooked meal here. The environment is also nice and peaceful.
In short good place can obviously visit with family here, though not a very party type place.

Property is very good, rooms are cleaned, they have view point on hill top don't miss it, don't miss the sun set from there, take 15 mins time for sunset and feel the nature, location wise it is very good, kudle beach is at walking distance,
They have there own restaurant, Food is good, teasty and yummy, must try Puri bhajji, dosa, fruit salad,
Staff is helpful, they provided lungi and punja as we have to wear it to mahabaleshwar temple, temple is 1km from hotel, auto will take 100rs to reach there,

What a place and what a host. You feel so special and nice at this place. The owner ensures that you are happy there. Food served with true commitment and luv makes it the best of all food. I saw excellent rating for namaste cafe. S the food was nice but the food here is great. A must visit if u r in gokarna. You wil know what I meant

Place, location was great. Also it is run by family so people coming solo can choose this place blindfoldedly. Aunty there is super sweet to talk. Uncle are chill and were quite helpful. Recommended for girls coming solo or anyone just wants to be surrounded by nature and beautiful views.

Lovely place to stay in Gokarna, near to temple and most beaches, and it has a private sunset point

We stayed 3days (2nights) at this beautiful place. The rooms, bathrooms were clean. The bed was quite comfortable. They had hot water running 24X7. The hosts were super friendly.and were quite flexible. The food was very homely (only Veg) and quite tasty. It was quite easy on the pocket as well. The view from the pvt vista point was amazing. Kudle Beach was hardly 200mts downhill from this place. Overall a great value for money.

The road to Prema hill top is really bad. The restaurant was closed when we arrived around 4pm. And people are not allowed to go towards the hill as they have built fencing around the area.

The cottages are nice and clean. Good privacy. The view from the hilltop is amazing. Good place to watch the sunset. Kudle beach is just 200 meters walk. The owners are superb hosts, very friendly and considerate. The food is excellent. There are also other restaurants nearby if you want to try something different. Will definitely visit again.

This resort is like your second home. This owner run resort is awesome in all respects, be the cleanliness, hygiene, location, the amenities provided or the food served. The most appreciable part of our 2 days stay was the hospitality extended by Mr and Mrs Gopi. The quality of food they served was incomparable. There is not a single word available to express the lacunae in the entire experience we got during our stay.
The best anybody can offer to a tourist was made available to us.

I would suggest this resort is must visit place. Very clean rooms, best food and most important is attention to his costumer by owner (Mr.chintamani) him self. In fact both owner (couple) are very humble in nature. Even your small needs are taken care by staff here. Very good experience.

Prema Hilltop is not just another regular stay place but feel like home. Run by a wonderful couple and their staff. They are courteous and making Guest (s) comfortable is their first motto. Only Vegetarian Food but very tasty. Decent room and clean rooms. They understand the customer requirement and fully supportive in almost all situation. Though the Dinner time end at 8: 30PM (Subject to availability), we requested to serve us an hour late to which they happily agreed and checked on to ensure we are comfortable with the arrangements.
We visited in the first week of Jul'22. They suggested few good places to try non-veg food depending on our preference and one turned out to be a great place for sea food.
Jatayu Theertha cliff is just behind Prema Hilltop and one can take the adventure path cautiously downhill to reach the beach. Opposite to their property is a Shiva Cave temple which will be a worth try.
Kudle Beach is ~200 meters, Gokarna Main beach, Mahagapathi Temple, Mahabaleshwara temple are within ~1 km.

Quiet place with a beautiful view at a distance of around 200 meters.
Comfortable stay.

Myself, my wife and my kid went to Gokarna in July end 2022. First day we stayed at the city center. Next day morning, I was searching for a good place to have breakfast and Google suggested Prema Hilltop. I have to say that breakfast was very very nice. Also the hosts were very polite. They said they have independent villa rooms with parking inside their campus. I saw the room and instantly decided to move from the city center and stay here since it was very peaceful.
The land adjacent to the resort is a hostel for girl students and one could hear them praying, studying and playing through the day.
The best part of the location is the sunset view. Once you walk for about 100mts from the room to the top, the view is simply breathtaking. One can hear the sound of peacocks close by. One can stay there for hours and appreciate the beautiful surroundings and the pristine ocean view. I would suggest you to Google and watch a video they have made for Prema.
Dinner was also very very good. The hosts were very helpful and polite.
Overall, the stay was worth every penny that I paid. Thank you for the experience.

Please note that the last 1.3kms on your way to the resort is not properly tarred and might feel scary. So trust Google for the last 1.3kms.

The food was very homely. Parking was not an issue. Food options were less maybe because it's the rainy season and customers are less. The staff were very good and polite.

We had meals, aloo paratha and lime soda. All were good.

Very bad experience. Overrated food. Had to wait an hour for two simple dishes. After continuously asking the waiter about food he finally got us our food. Food wasn't so great either. Avoid this place. Cashier didn't care at all.

Reasonable price, food is decent. But they won't entertain guests sitting idle and doing office work.

Amazing hotel ever, we literally shocked how hygiene the hotel is, even footwear is not allowed. And cherry on the cake is back of the hotel there is an amazing view of beach landscapes which will definitely worth visiting

Perfect stay for a family. They have 4 beds in a room with very clean bathroom and beautiful view. The family running this are cooperative and kind. Good food, good stay

You get a homely atmosphere, there is cliff in the property which has a great view of the sunset. The staffs and the owner treat their family members.

Good food. We took Lunch here. Owner / Manager was very cooperative. He allowed us to visit the area on hill top with sea view. We relaxed there for a while. He has got AC/NON AC rooms for a stay with family and friends. Overall all good experience.

They don't care about customers at all. Very late service. Got my order after 1 hour of giving death stares to the receptionist and waiter? Worst experience

I stayed with my friends last week for 3 days and the people there are SO NICE AND KIND AND ACCOMMODATING. Also, they have a beauuuuutiful sunset points in their backyard (?) and honestly, that's the most beautiful I have seen Gokarna. Services were amazing too and the campus felt a lot like home:) 100% recommend

Place is really beautiful. Rooms are clean and good. Specially 2 rooms are having kitchen that will help if we take kids we can only cook. Hot water available all the time. Food are bit costly please don't buy french fries and rest are ok good service. Top view point is really beautiful.

Absolutely loved the food at Prema Restaurant.
Almost dead from the mid-day heat (yup even feburay heat is awful), we ordered a bunch of lassis and they tasted great. After that we got 2 dosas, and they were one of the best dosas we've had in a while. It's a shame how mediocre the Dosas (a south indian) of south are, compared to the north, but these ones were so damn delicious. The chutneys we got still have my mouth watery. They're a must try @ just rs40.

It's good. I went there for many days in a row. Food is alright, ambience is sweet and simple but they seem to be acting a bit dodgy like they will always change glasses to a smaller version after noticing that I've been ordering the same thing and watering down if asked for the same old ser ing. Weird. Anyway try it

Lovely place! I loved it. Accomodation is also available. Well appointed rooms. Neat n clean. Reasonably priced. Can try this place for weekends. Breathtaking sunset view into the sea from the hill top. Pure VEG, Yummy reasonsble food. Can have customised dishes too! Friendly staff, never demanding.

View is great but they can improve a lot on food. Food lacks taste -Their cream of mushroom soup tastes like one is drinking milk (perhaps due to use of milk powder).
Location is on top of the hilltop and kudle beach is a 5 minute downhill trail away.

Best veg restuarant near kudle beach. Have a great meal in the evening after enjoying the sunset view at the top of the hill.

Room is excellent. Damodar uncle helped us in everyhting we asked. Rooms are very very superb. Mainly the staff who are working there are very descent.

Had Gobi manchurian, French fries and Gudbad. The fried stuff was very nice and crispy without being oily. The ice cream, boy it was so creamy and not too sweet, Just perfect

The best south indian food I have ever tried. First of all the restaurant is neat and clean. We ordered Plain dosa, masala dosa, orange juice, pineapple ginger mint juice and homemade coconut ice cream. Juices and the ice cream are must try and the plain dosa was so fluffy. Enjoyed a great breakfast here. Must try restaurant in Gokarna.

Best Vegetarian Restaurant In Gokarna with Superb location.
Serves very tasty food for breakfast and lunch.

The gudbud is a must have at this unpretentious family run restaurant. Smooth, rich and creamy - best gudbud in a long time.

Ample parking opposite, and great location. Driving thru the narrow ghat roads maybe challening for some, but the food is worth it.

Also give the French fries a shot, served fresh and hot with a touch of tumeric - a nice and flavourful departure from the traditional double fried greasy stuff that is served in other places.

Owner is rude, price is overrated, service is bad and hospitality was unpleasant.
Please avoid going to thus restaurant.

Best place to have meals at Kudle beach, Gokarn. The rooms or cottages are also available for the stay. They offer authentic south Indian food and continental food too.

Nice restaurant at the entrance of the Main Beach. The South Indian dishes are quite good here. They offer different types of shakes too. Don't miss them as they are awesome! The prices are low. The service is fast! Good place to have a quick bite or lunch if you are at the main beach.

Ease of access from beach. Loved the food and service. Variety of food items available. Affordable prices. Ambience is okay but food is good thats the main part.

Not sure if Prema restaurant/cold drinks is there anymore. But I can say it was one of the best restaurants in town. Healthy food, neat and clean environment. KOMBUCHA is a must try drink here! Homely vibes and prices also not much on the higher end.

It was a great restaurant for a tourism place. Affordable, good taste, variety of options, good service all together a great place.

There was a good cooking and good health eating all vegetarian's food and super taste of gokarna special food.

Prema cold drinks was a pretty famous place here, the ambience is nice but the they should cut down the other serving time, rest all was good, the prices were also reasonable, the place is good for friends and group of people, neat and decent place

Not called Prema anymore, some kind of chain restaurant by the looks of things. Coffee also tasted a bit odd, sort of off milk-y, just had to neck it and get out of there. One star a bit harsh because I didn’t try the food and it was packed! Must be doing something right.

Food tastes decent. Their gudbud ice cream is good. Service and ambiance are just average. Good option to have food in the area.

If you visit Gokarna this is a must visit Cafe in the heart of Gokarna. And the best part about it is that it's Pure Vegetarian. If you visit there must try 'Gad Bad'. And paneer noodles

A must visit restaurant in the heart of gokarna for pure veg lovers. It's easily accessible from the Mahabaleshwara temple as well as very close to the beach.
Food quality is good and the rates are moderate. The only problem here is it is always overcrowded and one has to wait for table during peak lunch and dinner hours.
Ice creams here is a speciality here as they have home made ice creams and the coconut flavour being the best.

Felt that it is a bit overrated.
Food was pretty average, although prices were descent.
One advantage of this eatery is that it is very close to Gokarna beach.
Explore other options to eat as well.
