Dont suggest anyone this resort, owner act like very rude, not maintained swimming pool, no music, simply waste our money,

Booking was just cancelled after sending an email pathetic and sending email at midnight is one of the most cheapest mindset

Thr best homestay place in kalasa. Very kind and understanding owners. Beautiful place and made our stay wonderful. Affordable and budget friendly place. Must stay place in kalasa.

It was a beautiful place for people living in big cities. Full of greenery. Rooms are good - antique cottages. Food is too good, authentic malnad food. Games - not so much but there is shuttle badminton, cricket, basketball, etc over here which you can ask for. Bonfires is also included, and you can also see deers, etc. It is also very cold here as there is a lot of greenery.

There is also a trek over here. At they trek they take you to - 1. A waterfall, 2. A River, 3. Hanging Bridge and 4. One of the peaks at the western ghats in a jeep (going in jeep is like a roller coaster ride)! The trek will be very beautiful and refreshing. This is a must visit place if you visit Kalasa.

We had been for a one day trip from Mangalore/Udupi.
We have just contacted them two days ago asking for some package for a day.
They said there are jeeps and pickups by which we can travel to
1. Kyatanmakki hills️
2. Hanging bridge ️
3. Amba Theertha️
4. Soormane waterfalls ️
So we booked them for a Sunday with lunch and evening coffee.
On the day of trip we reached to prince of kalasa and from there they guided us and took us to top of kyatanmakki hills, that was just mesmerising moment for all of us.though the roads till hill is worst but it's worth to visit top of hills.
Later came back to hanging bridge which was very old bridge and good sightseeing was there, and then to Amba Theertha where we can play with the water flowing.
After that we were back to resort for lunch and had good dining there and left to soormane falls, Falls is full of safety since that is not deep to drown. So u can get down into falls and enjoy ur time.
It was around 4: 30 and we had a coffee there and left with some bags of tea powder and coffee powder.
You can always expect some of the cinema stars who is having shooting there.and u can get a chance to talk to them also you can have a selfie. Also Rachitha Ram is very close to owner of the resort.
Chandra Mohan is the owner of this resort, also heard that this was first resort in kalasa initially.
Jeep drivers were very kind and shared their knowledge throughout the journey, also mind-blowing drivers.
Hence we had a safe one day trip with Prince Of Kalasa.

Pros: Place is big enough to enjoy
Cons: even though place was big but it was not well maintained neither organized
Food area was pathetic.
Place was totally dirty filled with leeches.
Let's talk about food. If you love eating hostel mess food you should definitely go
But if you wanna enjoy your trip with tasty and delicious food
Then one will regret to be at that place.
You might not be able to enjoy your booze after 10: 30pm
Owner might behave well in the beginning just for the sake of money but then you will realize him as the worst and ill-mannered owner and host

Best host you can get. Prices are very reasonable and he will personally assist and suggest you on all the bookings. Rooms are well maintained and clean. Lots of lovely places nearby to visit and spend your time in Kalasa.

It's one of the old resorts in this area. And owner is well obliged and having very clear knowledge about this surroundings. Food and accommodation are also great.

We stayed here for one day. This home stay is between horanadu annapurneshwari temple and Kalashewara temple (dakshina kashi).
They have packages has well, which includes food, guide and jeep Safari.
I feel it's worth for money as well. We didn't take any package. We just took room over there.

Well received by home stay team when we arrived at Prince of Kalasa. Excellent hospitality and service by the team. They will try their best to provide whatever we ask. Dog Boxy is also friendly. We had taken the dormitory so we had fun with our gang. Best part is the gas geyser which helped us a lot during this winter and immediate baths. Bathrooms were neat and beds were also neat. We had a descent stay and enjoyed to the most?

With friends stay in the dormitory, it will be fun

Owner was rude, and asked to stop music at 10.45 in a Sunday night
Food was not so good, but still expensive
River rafting was not available now

Amazing experience. I can not write too much because of its nature's beauty. Better you visit this place and feel the nature experience.

Good stay with family and friends, Mohan and preeti - friendly and supportive.
Price is reasonable and food taste needs to take care and change the dish items/ patterns.

Hospitality is worse. Me and my friends gathered there and what we came to know was it was better for us to stay beside the highway than here.

One of the best available properties, which has much experience and skill in it. Very good place for friends and families.

River side lunch, barbecue dinner and amazing jeep ride for a day made my journey from
Chennai of 14 hours worthy.
All of my family enjoyed my 9th year wedding anniversary at home away from Tamilnadu.

Really amazing place.price is like 2300 per head that includes 3 time food + stay.owner, the host is really a good one, he helped us about getting here n there plus also assisted in roadside emergency. Thanks boss.

Had a wonderful monday at this venue with reception party arranged of my family. Music, food and setup of stage was well decorated. We cousins had a blast.

I had a wonderful time with my family this week here at prince of kalasa.
I got one of my best stay, food and services.
My kids were treated with utmost care and pampering, which I must refer specially here.
The places around homestay was simply magnificient and the team of homestay as well.
Food, especially Neerdosa, masala dosa were simply mouth watering.
Will come again here for monsoons is my feeling.

Cool place around Kudremukh. Mr Mohan is incredible he will Make all your trip memorable one. With awsome hospitality.

I've never encountered a worst experience like this. Had a very horrible time here. I've seen here Mr. Mohan replying to the comments telling he gives the best, but as he had promised that both veg and nonveg food would be available but as when we asked about the food menu he was like we are not preparing nonveg for only two ppl. And all other guest are vegetarians its difficult to cook nonveg for only two. And he said he can get nonveg food from outside and I was supposed to pay for that. But he said both veg and nonveg food is included in the package.

Worst maintained pool I've ever seen and Mr. Mohan expects guests to go there and enjoy. While having lunch one of his boy spilled whole lot of juice on my dress. Mr. Mohan doesn't have a minimum commonsense to apologise for the mistake. Instead of that he started scolding his boy. And I see him replying to the comments, telling bullshit about hospitality.

Coming to the evening snacks part, he served two spoons of three kinds of mixtures that too all were mixed.

The room was unhygienic where the bedspreads were stinking. As Mr.mohan says he has an experience of 14 years in this firm but Mr. Mohan doesn't know to keep a pair of towel and soap in the room and how to keep the room hygienic by Atleast changing the bedspreads.

Let me tell you guys about the breakfast. As they prepared veriety of dishes. And all the dishes were served at a time in a single small plate. There was no question of our choice as they didn't ask what we eat. Simply put everything and served.on top of that the ಪುಳಿಯೋಗರೆ consists of hair. And the most worst thing was we find hair in coffee too.

After all the "best hospitality" as said by Mr. Mohan, he comes and gives the justification for whatever the bullshit happened.

After seeing the property and hospitality I still wonder how ppl gave 5 stars. And I see Mr. Mohan replying to the negative comments with all the bullshit justifications.

This poperty is not worth paying 1.5k per head.

Guys don't go to this property, u wont be having any kind of privacy and security here.the food worst and the way of serving food is also worst. They dont know what is hospitality.

Good hosts, quick services and exquisite locations.
The rooms were so beautiful, clean and hygenic.
Balcony rooms are the best ones.
Highly recommendable for families and group of friends for hangout.

It is unsafe to go with family they don't know how to treat their customers.
Even the food is not hygienic totally the visit to this place made our weekend worse

Great service, great food, friendly staff, awesome location. Absolutely must visit. I highly recommended calling them and asking advice on recommended itinerary and then make your plans. Gali gudda and mugilpet is a gem but path to get there is very hard and bouncy.

My parents loved staying here first of all which was so heartening to me. Thanks to everyone out there.
