They are not providing any vacation at this place, as they informed I have to go to Indira Nagar for vaccine and there is no contact of any person to reach that place, it's all waste of time. Kindly help us with right guidens
Posted details are not appropriate. Yellow fever vaccine is not provided here, they have shifted to C. V Raman general Hospital Indiranagar. They are taking online registration and slots are full
Pathetic experience. No proper response. They asks to take appointment but no one answers the phone. We been here on Thursday and its not available and booked slot. Take form At ground floor, fill it and pay cash at first floor. Note only cash.
Things to carry: Passport Original ticket Pen Mask Sanitizer 400 cash
U need to visit before 10 days of travel.
They do vaccination only on Mon, wed and Friday. Prior appointment is mandatory.
New review - below was my old review because of online appointment. But my experience was very good here after coming.the doctor is very good and polite and helped me a lot.
Old review - These people are so rude while taking online appointment.always saying call after 1 hour and then don't pick the call.
No proper process and they are so lethargic in advising us with the appointment. Even though the doses are available they way they responded to the query was so annoying. Please don't do this. They say government is for people but government is for their own government members. Appointments are taken in referendum with higher authorities and for common people they delay the appointment as much as possible they can. Worst experience
Usually they go by appointment at PHI. I just happened to drop by to know the process and i was lucky enough to get vaccinated almost immediately. In fact i went at 3: 30 pm thinking they will be shut but since they had the vial available i got it done immediately.
They needed a soft copy of my passport, covid certificate, flight tickets and Rs. 400. They need absolutely need the charge so please carry 400 change as there is a possibility of not getting vaccinated if u do not have change.
Post vaccination they make you wait for 30 mins to see if you have any reaction and they let you go. The new norm is that the yellow fever vaccination has a lifetime validity (the last time i got it done it was only valid for 10 years) so that's good news.
For a place which is the only place in Bangalore where you can take the vaccine, i think they should stock more vaccines and should be more linguistic inclusive.
As of 30th September, 10.27am we have been informed by the official at this institute that the stock for Yellow Fever Vaccine is over. It will be available post 15th October.
For urgent travel requirement before 15th October, they will administer the vaccine on 7th October on a case to case basis only if one pre-registers by visiting the institute, and gives their name and phone number to the official.
Note that this is only conditional for a person having a valid ticket for travel before 15th October.
One needs to show proof of Covid Vaccination Certificate double doses, Air ticket, Valid Passport. Please eat breakfast prior and carry 400rs in cash as well. We have also been asked to carry 2ml syringes.
Calls go unanswered here. Just visit in person for doubt resolution nonetheless. Issued in public interest.
Please note working days: closed only on 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month as all the Govt offices. Timing is 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM.
Generally not reachable by phone.
Only place for vaccination for Yellow Fever. Need to visit in person to take an appointment.visit on the appointed day with Original passport (or a copy of it with proof that passport is with Consulate), travel ticket, Rs. 400, and a pen to fill a form.
Now they also insist that you wear a mask and bring your own sanitizer.
Currently yellow fever vaccine is in short supply and hence appointments are given only for Wednesday.
Terrible place, they make you feel like a herd of sheep. Very sad the way they treat people. Pathetic service. Absolute no system followed. Least interested staff. Different information all over the place. They open and close on days as and when they feel like. Taking advance appoinent is of no use. Theu don't even follow any process and you need to fill forms again and wait in line with people who have not even registered. Horrible experience
Very well organised. Prior appointment preferable. Starts at 10.30 AM. Takes an hour to finish the procedure - filling form, payment 400/-, wait for the vacc, half an hour wait before leaving. Passport is needed. Nurse is Emilia Fernandes super efficient,
Rude staff. Today, apparently ISRO chief and family were coming so she refused to give the shots to people who had come there before them. Mind you, the family was not there yet! All the ladies there were rude for no reason. Asked us to wait to see if she can administer "leftover" vaccine but, then decided to shoo us away saying they were important. Like we were not important enough to be there. We were 5 of us waiting and could have easily administered one vial of 5 vaccines to us. But she said will not do that and asked us to leave. Our time and effort to get there on a weekday has no value. Forget that, we as human beings also have no value there for those notorious ladies. Sad, the public health department must note this. They are not doing us favors or charity. We were there as any responsible citizens (on time) and expected the department to give us our due. Truly sad state of affairs. Hope the state health minister is taking note.
Yellow fever vaccinations are given here. Some conflicting information is noted on pics posted online regarding the days on which vaccine is given. Fact is it is given currently only on Fridays. Needs advance reservation which can be done over phone too. For a simple procedure of (1) filling a form (2) making payment (3) getting vaccinated and (4) getting the certificate, much rigmarole. A simple process flow chart on the notice board will help communicate to the visitors Time to introduce online registration process for efficiency like Kings Institute, Chennai does.
Called to book an appointment after reading all the comments and the staff who answered the phone was very rude and snarky with every comment she made. She spoke as though she were doing me a favour by offering the vaccine. Firstly said theres no slot available for the next 15 days and then was rude about any question that I asked. This kind of behaviour in the staff is what makes people stay away from government institutions. Hope other places in Bangalore get officially certified to provide the yellow fever vaccine so people don't have to go to the PHI.
