Updated review and downgraded to 1 star. Amazed at the patronage this shop gets given the quality of food! It's purely because of lack of competition. The parathas have become pathetic, absolutely no stuffing inside. It's a thick piece of dough drenched in oil. Absolutely not worth it!
It's a family run restaurant where home like food is served. Their Methi and aloo Parathas are the best and the dal just reminds you of home. It's a must try. The only suggestion is they can expand their place now to accommodate larger crowd.
Good place to eat parantha and North Indian curries like dal, paneer, mix veg etc. Check the menu before going as it changes on daily basis. Chole bhature available on Monday and Thursday
Absolutely Amazing. Great Food as it is fresh home cooked food. It does not give you the normal, boring restaurant experience. I assure you that you will get a desi vibe.
A Punjabi family of 3 generations cook some amazing food and is served hot! Methi Paratha and chole is a must try here. The best methi Paratha that I have had! Clean and hygienic. Lassi is so authentic as well.
Tasty punjabi style food.even am from south but love the taste of the food. Small shop. Taste and quality is good. Quantity ok for th price. Dishes n curry u have to buy separately for more qty. Nice people n servings are great. Small family running the shop. Time atleast 15.to 20 min need to wait. Hand made n very good stuffed parathas.
Had paneer gravy and phulka both were hotrible. Not sure how phulka is of the size of chapati and fat.even paneer parata was very bad.only dish i liked was Aloo parata
Awesome aloo n paneer parota even meti also very nice don't miss to order sweet lassi rates r very reasonable It's run by punjabi family n 8t is pakka home preparation even jeera rice very tasty. Don't miss to visit
Our favorite place for paranthas and sabzi in Vidyaranyapura. You will not get so good paranthas anywhere in a price they offer. Must visit for paranthas. Crowded on weekends.
My all time favourite place in Vidyaranyapura. Such homely feel in their hospitality and food. They cook in limited batches and the taste is amazing. Everything on their menu is yum!
This decrepit family run joint is more like a dhaba albeit with a limited vegetarian menu.but make no mistake their menu is finger licking good.if you love your paneer and dal.this is the place for you.prices very very reasonable.satisfaction guaranteed.
This shop is very near to the main road but very less people (except the regulars) know about it. It’s like hidden gem. The family is punjabi and best thing is they have simple menu and great taste. Tasted most of their items and the taste is always consistent across the items. My favourites are dal tadka & sarso ka saag. Must try for anyone looking to try Punjabi food.
Have been going hete for 5+ years now and the best food I've ever had and that too in such an affordable price. A gem of a restaurant 10/10 would recommend
Typical home cooked food taste. Served sincerely by a very hard working and co ordinated family. Feel totally satisfied eating food here. Buttermilk was a clear winner
Awesome. Home like food hygiene and tasty. Paneer paratha is real yum here sahee paneer is good with any item you buy. Quite rush you may face in peak hour better to reach early in afternoon not beyond 1: 30pm.
One of the best place in Bangalore to have ghee da parathas and lassi that also in affordable price and the main thing is that the whole family is working in this store and for 2 person max Rs. 300. Try it once
This is a real hidden gem. Very tasty, authentic Punjabi Parathas. Place is small and crowded during lunch hour. But wait will be worth. Wednesday is weekly holiday. Closes at 7 PM.
PURE VEG, homely food cooked and served by Punjabi family. Taste is simple and best. Never had such an amazing methi Paratha and mango lassi ever. Order in advance through phone to avoid waiting period
Best homely food! Very neat and well maintained.and of course delicious food. Sathu parantha is my favourite here.do try it. And the people there are very cordial and friendly. U can call them and tell what you want.you will be served hot without any wait
Awesome place to have mouth watering, flavored packed home cooked food. This place is not like other restaurants, but operated by a family. A must visit
The best punjabi food for one to taste and enjoy awaits here. The place is awesome so are the people in it. One of the best aloo paranthas and panner curries are available.
Homely tasty North Indian food available here. The rates are very cheap and does not interfere with the authentic taste. The aloo paratha was well cooked and crispy. We ordered butter rotis and the amount of butter on the phulkas was good. The sabjis were pretty good and the lassi was also sweet. Various Payment options also available. Overall a great place for eating yummy food.
Lovely food at a reasonable rate! Moreover they are very polite and listen to the requirements of every customer visiting their resturant. Every week I come here with my family or friends and it's a wonderful experience! Please keep this up
Authentic home cooked food, served hot and made fresh.family run place. Humble sit out. Cant accommodate more than 20 at a given time. Dont miss his lassi and bharwan Karela.
It's a very nice place to have lunch. I usually take apoo paratha n methi paratha. Parathas are awesome. Tastes good. Yummy.food is too good n worth for money.
It's a nice clean homely food.the owners are friendly and cooks n serve the food with great hospitality. Taste is good n their phulka will not remind of you home.
Family run eatery famous for Punjabi dishes from Roti to Saag, Rice to paratha. Price is very reasonable compared to other Punjabi eateries in city. Quick service, quality food, clean place to dine, digital payment acceptance and no plastic covers. All put together great place.
Amazing food! ️ Authentic Punjabi food available. An old lady prepares in front of the customers in an open space. You can see everything with your own eyes! Different types of parathas available. Taste is really good. They also provide half and full amount of sabji, which also has many varieties. They are customer friendly. Shop is almost too much occupied by customers most of the times.
This place will not disappoint you when it comes to parathas and north veg dishes. Tiny place but has earned its name for its quality and taste. Should try the stuffed karela, rajma / sarso saag, parathas. The old couple takes care of the open kitchen cooking. Gets crowded in the weekends and is open for limited hours as they don't cross their overdo order intakes.
