One of the underated park which consists mostly of flora and birds which a wide variety.

Only problem is that through the half way it is well and good consists of plants and nice walking area.

After the half way it is better to avoid as it is polluted with drainage.

Nice place to spent time with peaceful area.

Nice place to spent morning walk and and good in evening too.

If you are planning to visit it is worth visiting. Don't keep too much about expectation.

One of the best places for birding in Bangalore can find different species here.u he must need a good lens to capture them.and try to visit as early as possible and go to the end to get more birds

If you are visiting this between 6- 7 am, and sit for some time in this lake, I am pretty sure you will get addicted to this place because of the beautiful birds chirping.

Good place for a peaceful morning walk. Can be maintained better. Common birds which can be found at every other lake.

I am noticing people putting in nets. Birds won't nest when they see nets. Don't allow people to fish here

Good place for morning walks. Walking path is muddy and slushy due to rains.not adviseable for those having knee pains.

Visited last week. Mud road / walkway inside the reserve needs maintenance. It had rained the previous night so roads were in bad condition - were waterlogged. Apparently drainage is lacking.

Its a nice place for bird watching. Less number of people and proper bird watching gazebos.

The lake is being revived with the efforts of the government and conservationists. I am doubtful of the birds coming back as a highway runs beside the lake and the noise and pollution will surely deter the birds. Moreover the diesel power plant will open soon and create further pollution in the vicinity.

Mankind has killed this vital ecosystem and short term measures would be only cosmetic in nature. Hopefully the government wakes up and saves this gem.

Nice place for a pleasant walk/jog and bird watching. The management is doing a very good job at maintaining it. They have two bird hide setup where people can sit and observe birds without disturbing them.

A hidden treasure within the city limits. Great place to spot a multitude of bird species. Carry a binocular for a better experience.

A beautiful underrated lake and a mini bird sanctuary. It's not fully revamped yet, but you can watch beautiful sunsets here.
There are a couple of Gazebos to sit and do bird watching.

An hour's drive away from the city for most folks. Good opportunity for some bird watching, especially in the early morning and in the winter months.

Lovely long stretch of walking path next to the Puttenahalli Lake.brilliant place for birding and you can find plenty of macro photography subjects.

It is good place near city for birding and for border. Not so many species but beautiful place indeed. It is on road side but entry from side road.

Actually place is good.not well maintained.if maintained it will be more good.there is a mud footpath.u can see 3 to 4 kinds of birds.

It's got quite a collection of birds definitely as it goes by its name and I couldn't capture not a single one on my phone though, if you're having a good camera then, yes! Definitely a great place for bird lovers and bird watching and photographers too. You'll not regret it, it's got gazebos and resting areas at all places and a good walking trail till the end.

A great place for meditation too. You can hear thee voices of so many birds when you're here in the early hours of the day. So plan accordingly.and try to reach by 6 so you can enjoy the atmosphere of the park completely to the fullest.

Best time to visit is 0630-0730am when many birds are active.
A quite and close to nature place. A surprise in between hustle and bustle of city life around.

A good place for bird spoting. People often come for evening walks and take photography. Sadly due to the the new diesel power plant setup in the vicinity it has been ruined. Also this place needs maintenance. The pavements should be made with solid tiles and cutting off the grass has not been done since a long time.
