One of my best visited places in Coorg. Been to different places and stays around. But this is the best and really surprised by location. And the best, the view I had from inside the rooms and by the balcony. Balcony is the best for nature lovers. The tiny waterfalls and birds chirping. Even in summer, its best place to relax and rejuvenate. The theme is very nice and my kids enjoyed the most. Care takers are good natured and very friendly. The best service I got from any stays. Definitely recommend it for anybody without doubt. Nice and safe place to stay for family or friends.

This is definitely a different concept of cave homestay. We loved the stone interiors and minimalist lighted decorum of this place having 2 bedrooms combined with 2 private restrooms and a dining hall with amenities like TV and Wifi packed along, felt no different then a normal 1-2 star B&B arrangement with basic amenities in place.

The caretaker along with his family were always available to help, the food prepared for us was as good as home cooked.

The only downside would be no mobile networks, with absolutely zero coverage indoors but would get 1-2 signals on the roof outside after some struggle. So in case Wifi goes down, you’re left disconnected for hours since it takes time to repair anything in this remote location.

Options available for next meal needs to be discussed with the caretaker well before 5-6 hours since everything is prepared fresh like home & might need arrangements which include travel for shopping from the city.

It’s as a nice option if you’re looking for an unusual stay experience here in Coorg, Madikeri.

Very good experience. Enjoyed the stay very much with my family. Location, property & especially the view from the balcony…. U can’t explain…! Just nostalgic…! Theme of the property is very thoughtful. Care takers are very friendly and humble. Service is very good. Food is very good, homely and tasty. A small water stream flows just aside and sounds very nice, birds chirping, very pleasant at night. Very safe to stay with family or with friends. Will recommend everyone to go there once in a while. Just get recharged.

Stay wise it is a beautiful place surrounded by trees. The rooms are spacious.

The host will provide with anything that you need for your stay.

The location can be a bit tricky to find so talk to the host.

Jio and BSNL works fine. Airtel has very limited connectivity but the Owner’s Wifi works well.

Heavenly location to get quick rejuvenation. Out of many best parts, campfire arrangements are classic. As a rule of thumb, a traveller should stick to safe foods and try local dishes. We did the same. Asked about options available in traditional Coorg food (in Veg) and requested the caretaker serve us without discussing cost. The quality was superb.very reasonably priced. The caretaker is awesome.

Amazing place for Holiday's, everything is good, this is my 3 rd time visit to Cavehouse. Food, room service, fire camp everything is good.

Excellent place. Cosy and comfortable. The view from the balcony is amazing. Waking upto birds chirping and the sound of the stream. Price is very reasonable for the view and the facilities, not to mention the novelty factor. Closest to a cozy Hobbit hole. Subbaih and his wife are wonderful caretakers. The food that they made is delicious and they took care of our every need.

Cost effective and food provided is very tasty

We had excellent time here in Rais Coorg Cave House during the Christmas period. Away from all the busy city hustle/bustle, we had a peaceful time with family. The Running stream of water inside the property and the rich greenery around was very enjoyable. Staff are quite hospitable and make you feel at home. Hosts are available to help with any support that is needed just over a call. Well equipped with wifi, Television and few indoor games for kids. Everyday you wake up to the nature's music of birds chirping and the warmth of the morning sun inviting you to explore more. Excellent place to relax, rejuvenate and freshen up!

Unique and well designed cave house, Airtel network is nil inside the cave however you get 1/2 bar when you come out of it. Wi-fi is available always.
Pros of this place is many however cons are there too! Spoke to Rupak Rai about cons and those will be rectified soon.
Waking up to those early morning waterfall sounds and birds chirping is so soothing to mind and peaceful!
Over all would definitely recommended to everyone whose looking to stay here.
