Rajanna Military Hotel

It is one of the authentic hotels in Bangalore.
A Mandya owner and his swag of wearing gold chain looks crazy. The taste of food is very authentic and nati style.
And the hotel is crowded every time. Even people will wait for an hour also

It’s a Military Hotel, So don’t expect luxurious Ambience.

Perfect Lunch and Dinner corner for Non Vegetarians. Food is good and the mutton is juicy, good spot for foodies and food bloggers to cover.

Prefer to go by two wheelers cause getting a 4 wheeler parking is quite a task.

I ate biriyani which was nice, a different flavor and a different colour and even the gravy and the salad was fine and yummy

A good experience. Briyani was nice. The sides, chicken pepper and chicken manchurian were not that satisfactory.

I don't know about others. There is no spicy and no taste in mutton items also.after visiting this place it felt bad and still feels guilty about it

Good food, lacks quantity, over priced (too much). If price decreased good go to go place for lunch.

It has white rice, mudde, 2 types of mutton curry, small cup of biryani rice and one khima ball curry

Khima ball curry was too good

May be my expectations were high. Didn't like it. But going there with friends is kind of okay.

When out of pockets best place to dine in. Many options but chose wisely. Can't say they taste the best but I can say u will be satisfied

Hyped over reviews. It is normal military hotel nothing stands out. Average food with below average service. May be good for bachelor.

They are very old and service nati style non veg food. Must try idli and mutton curry.chicken fry and mutton kheema was great.

New to bangalore and being a native of Andhra it was really challenging for me to find the right place for having that sumptuous aromatic non veg biriyani and meals.so after reading so many reviews in near by area where I stayed, decided to go to this place to satisfy my biriyani craving. By the time I reached hotel it was around 1.30PM and hotel was jam packed. Since I couldn't wait for much time to taste the biriyani, asked for mutton biriyani parcel and had it in my hotel room. To my surprise when I opened it didn't seem to look like biriyani at all. The aroma and taste felt like I am having some rich tasted pudina rice mixed in ginger garlic paste and mutton pieces. It was a complete disappointment.it seemed to be like pudina pulav with few undercooked mutton pieces.

I heard this hotel name many times, I thought it will be like shivaji military hotel but it's below expectation, not that much great taste, normal donne biriyani stall is better, too congested place, unhygienic, I don't recommend

Yummy countryside non veg restaurant. Paya soup (Kal Soupu in kannada) is the one that I liked the most.

The taste was Damm good, especially mutton masala, I don't have words to describe, it just so delicious and mouth watering Don't miss it

Ordered here chicken leg soup, chicken Pepper, and chicken biriyani. Decent ambience and clean surroundings. Visited during night time and not much congested. Taste is good and reasonable price.

Excellent place to have non veg food, it's near to the Jaya nagar central mall once you are done with your shopping you can visit This place for lunch or dinner.

They serve wide varities of dishes ranging from biriyanis, ragi muddha to chapati and parotta

Parotta is special mention here they will be crisp on outer and soft inside you can have them with any curry out of menu my choice will be with mutton dishes

They have wide range of non veg thali options as well including chicken, Mutton and fish.

This place is over crowded, non stop people walking in and they stand around your table waiting for you to finish eat so that they can seat (we had to do the same)

The food is amazingly tasty, however I can’t promise it’s hygiene as the place was so crowded and waiters rush with its cleaning.

The food service is quick and the staff are very hard working. I would recommend their biryani and the meatballs.

The hotel is on the first floor and you can end your meal at the paan place at the bottom of the hotel

Best biriyani served in this area. Biriyani and chicken fry is a must try dish here. They have varieties of dishes served with good taste. Price is reasonable. Rasam that they serve is too good in taste. Ambiance is decent. At times the place is crowded. Quantity for the price they charge is good. Overall a good family restaurant.

Rajanna military hotel is Desi style, provides nice non veg varieties. Pepper chicken is a must try which is perfectly blended with spices.

Excellent, unique Hotel of this type in 9th block, JAYANAGAR. Liquor consumption is prohibited in this hotel, it's a Families relishing Hotel.

Surprised by the Biriyani. I felt like having a down south Tami Nadu side Biriyani but it's Karnataka's Natti style.wow amazing food.if you want to spicey/hot food visit this place.

I have to Truly and Honestly admit about the food what we had in Rajanna Military Hotel was a Fabulous and a Sumptuous one. Therefore l would Recommend to others to Experience the Food and Enjoy. We ordered Chicken thali, Dry chicken liver
, Nimbu Chicken kabab was not so good.and the last Rasam, it was awesome.

A good place to taste different non veg dishes. Maintenance is clean and higine. Staff are friendly and price is reganable

Best place for naati style biryani that aroma never lasts untill u have a next time such a different one so I pls specially recommend you for biryani, ragi ball with guntur chicken masala. Other dry items not worth to have. Do visit and enjoy taste.

Naati style, they fill your appetite perfectly and it's priced fairly for people to visit frequently.

And mainly i didn't suffer from indigestion which mainly happens in some places

My new favourite Miltary hotel. Started just about 2 years ago. Great value for money a mutton thali is served at Rs. 280. Very soft Ragi ball and tastes the best. Another gem in the making for sure.

I went on the day when my appetite was not much. So just had rice n natti koli curry. Very decent amount of portion it was. I like it. Will surely visit again n try some mutton items

Rajanna is pretty much crowded any day of the week. I was there by 1: 00 pm and had to share a table, which BTW is the norm here. I had a naati chicken biriyani and chicken liver fry, finished with a cup rice and rasam, all this for less than INR 300!

Service was quick. However, the servers do not stop and talk to you. They are running around like bees. You will have to call out and grab them. Rising your hand delicately doesn't do the job. Also, there is no "anything else" kind of selling. You want it, you ask and get it.

Taste was good, especially at those prices. May be going in earlier might give a better experience.

Have been waiting for a long time to write a review about this place have visited this place several times and never disappointed with food or the service. Like they say you get big surprises in small packs. This is one among them. Food is totally amazing here, natti style briyani, various mouth watering mutton dishes are fabulous

WORST military hotel ever. Please don't fall for ratings. The chicken was HARD with only bones & oil.

The prices are reasonable with many non vegetarian variations. Little crowd in the weekends.

Good food and great service. Only felt that the prices are on a little higher side. Otherwise its good. Do not even think of parking your 4 wheeler here. There is no parking here.

Took nati chicken meals. Good taste. Rasam given on request tastes excellent. Will try biryani next time. Hotel staff could be more courteous and helpful to select items. Continous pickups by Zomato

Chicken meals and chicken biryani is the best! They serve Ragi ball with meals, if you don't prefer Ragi ball you can ask for parota instead.howda style rasam is priceless.

Great taste but no very convinent timings. You should try their soup. It's amazing for spice lovers. You can also try chicken items they are good. Only negative point is the timings, they don't suit working people. Hospatality is good and the service is quick. I had little problem in finding the hotel when I went for the first time as the hotel is in the first floor and there is a huge tree that covers the sinage so you cannot see the name of the place.

I ordered food via zomato.pathetic quantity n quality.ragi ball was size of tt ball.chapathy was readymade like Pappad.curry was half filled.guys never order food from there.
