Ultrasound Scan Doctor is late by 30 minutes and the there is no one to attend here, pathetic service RMV Hospital

I got admitted for viral fever. The Doctors' and nurses took good care of me. Satisfied with their services.

Let me put this straight forward. Please do not visit this hospital during emergencies!
I've visited this hospital on 2 separate occasions. After today's experience. My partner and I decided we wouldn't visit this hospital again in case of any personal/ family emergencies.
On the 1st occasion a few months back, our neighbour suffered a cardiac arrest (which we found out later outside). Upon fainting in our common area, we brought him to the hospital in our car. Attenders refused to bring out a stretcher.a duty doctor who came out MUCH LATER. Declared the poor man dead. Did not try to revive him, no CPR, no oxygen. Nothing! They didn't even bother pulling out the man out of the car and onto a stretcher to do the necessary checks. Understanding that the patient may have been old and already had other health issues, we let it be.

Earlier today, we brought in another person who was unconscious due to a small road accident. Attenders AGAIN, refused to take him in. A negligent doctor (who was replying to WhatsApp messages simultaneously while checking the patient) and a nurse came out. Put an SPO2 monitor on the patients finger and suggested we take them to MS Ramaiah Hospital. Even after requesting to administer basic first aid to the wounds on his face, they said they cannot do that and that he needs to be admitted in an ICU and an MRI was to be done. They refused to take the patient in even after the patient gained consciousness a few minutes later. What is the issue is just taking the patient in before coming to a conclusion? Or even to give BASIC, SIMPLE First Aid.

Lazy and careless staff. It's really surprising how such a big hospital can simply brush off its hands against emergency medical cases as per their convenience. ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTED!
We're lucky to have not taken any of our own family members to this hospital during an emergency. And after what we've been through, we'll be sure not to go here again either.

And before I get a reply on this review asking for the patient's name or MRN No, I don't have that information 'cause the patients were REFUSED admission on both occasions.

The hospital is not good for emergencies. In the middle of the night, I arrived here with a patient with breathing difficulty. The duty doctor came after 5 minutes and just attached a pulse oxymeter. He stood there as the patient stopped breathing. Kept claiming the patient had a pulse, when the oxymeter showed dashes. No CPR was administered or there was no defibrillator used. He didn’t even bother taking an ECG which would have diagnosed that the patient was having a heart attack. He suggested that I take the patient to Rammaiah. On arrival in Rammaiah, I was informed that the patient had passed away ten minutes ago. As much as RMV seems to be closer and a viable option for patients to go to, this is not at all suitable for emergency situations. The patient may not have survived either ways, but the lack of effort by the doctor on call was disheartening.

Since I am not able to reply to the below message I am editing it here. The patient was bought at 4: 15 am on the 29th June. Please at least keep an ECG machine or a defibrillator. It reflects poorly on the doctor when he calls the attender to come and try and wake up the patient when he has already taken his last breath.

Worst Gynaecologist doctor Dr. Sujatha,
My mom was consulted with her past 8 months regarding uterus problem the Dr. Sujatha told her to do some test scan after that in the test report a small fibroids is found uterus she get back to the doctor Dr Sujatha said not a problem it will be shrink no issue u can go like that after that loads of bleeding every month again she consulted her dr said that is common normal, after 8 months that fibroid is develop like 5 months baby size and need to be remove whole uterus and it will be cause cancer also god is great no cancer and she is suffering lack of himoglobin and pain.

Have been visiting this hospital for many years. Doctors are pretty good especially doctors like Dr. Ravi Kumar. The attenders are also quite responsive and even the costs are reasonable. Doctors don’t prescribe anything too expensive. Sometimes we may have to wait, but treatments are good and long lasting. Will definitely recommend this hospital anytime

We are having nightmares with this place. We are here to get our little one treated for jaundice after my wife delivered and consulted our pediatrician.
The nurses here are so unprofessional by the way they treat and speak to you. It seems like they are lost and do not have a way ahead of treating the patients.
Our little one was advised for Phototherapy and not sure why every nurse has a different opinion and we are being advised differently.
We were shocked to see when a nurse walks upto our room and asked us to make our baby stop crying as it is night.she was even fine with us taking out the baby from phototherapy machine! While others advised differently.

There is no basic courtesy or sympathy towards patients or their attendant not to mention on basic information to be provided to patients attenders.
We would never suggest this hospital for anyone unless this is your last option.

Even though we paid on day one, and very next follow up it was supposed to be no charge, still another script kiddie or jr doc charged again without any shame.

Learn on how to speak to patients and convey things. Needs improvement and do not want to visit again

Inexperienced doctors wrong or incorrect diagnosis not once but several times, worst hospital ever. Even a compounder would have diagnosed better. Pathetic and just money minded approach prescribing tests and admission but medication useless!

Worst experience. Doctors are not available always. High waiting time between reports. Happened twice with me. The nurses are just roaming around to show that they are working but no patients at all. The staff behaves as if they have paid our bill and we are on their mercy! This is ridiculous. Not sure what the management is doing. I will never visit again and also inform my friends and family to not visit this joke hospital.

Small for a hospital. But good doctors. Good for quick outpatient visit. They have decent lab and pharmacy. Limited in patient capacity.

Staffs are highly unprofessional when dealing with patients, doctors do not show up on time. We were given false appointment and were made to wait for 2 hours to meet the general medicine doctor and after going to doctors cabin we were again made to wait for some more time because the doctor wanted to have coffee.
Highly not recommending this hospital or doctors here.

Not recommended unless its an emergency or for first aid.

I felt the expense is in the higher side including consultation fees. Always double check the final bill and ensure the same from pharmacy section too.

Staffs are just about average in service and communications. Rooms/wards just okay. Restrooms are below average. Overall old and dull place.

Like every hospitals in Bangalore, all the drama of high risk patient, NABH stories are in place too.

Just another business place, not a 'service'.

NB: Never knew only a patient's review will be valid, and bystander's doesn't. Frankly, what to do with patient records now! Templates everywhere!

The receptionist informed us of wrong consultation time. This led us to come 2 hours early and a further delay of 1 hour to meet the doctor.

Very bad experience with the doctor and reports.
Firstly, the reports are very late.it took 4 days to get a h1n1 report and later reasons.
But the doctor assumes things without reports and after few days of treatment. When the reports were positive.no response from any.
The doctor (shashi kumar) comes on visits to get the patient on chills, scaring them to death about the worst conditions.
Even if worst can happen, it could be informed to attenders.
Later when the reports came no one took responsibility towards reports and further treatment also.we wer just told they had given all treatment and body had to respond.
The treatment is ok, but the doctors and reports?
Well i had a very bad experience here, got treated for the same condition at other place and making tons of progress.

No i wasnt intimated by the nursing staff and a rapid test could hav been done considering the situation rather than sticking to the old method.
I got the report much faster in others.
Im thank ful for the treatment no comments.i was even told the report to be negative on the second day when asked. But it turned out positive on fourth
But discussing the worst condition with the patient each time and getting them low isnt any kind of quality standards as per NABH or whatever?
And by the way the patient wasnt reffered, the management nor the doctor took responsibility for refral. I had called up 4 times and was turned down 4 times also.
I had to roam around to three hospitals with the report to get her admitted.

Very worst experience. Receptionist r giving very false information.they dnt give any importance of patients time.
I have visited twice.two time also I hv experienced same.

Admin reception is completely useless. Even after taking appointments, you are made to wait for 1 hour. No clear timing is given to patients seeking emergency aid. Clearly the management has no idea about time management and is only present for taking as many appointments to make the best income for the day.

I'm sharing my personal experience
One Day My Daughter Kunjan age 03 years fallen from Bed when she was playing. After some time i noticed she was not able to move and lift her left hand and crying in pain continuously. I took her to a hospital where I'm authorised for free family treat ment. They referred her to One of Superior Hospital where ortho facility available (I'm not mentioning Name of Hospital here) There doctor suggested for x ray, I did the same and show the reports to ortho, after seen reports they told that she is fine and nothing happens to her, you can take her and if pain persist further you can come to next ortho opd, which was two days later.
I took her back to home, she was still not able to move and lift her hand and still crying in pain. I had no option that time as it was late night. Very Next day I took her to RMV hospital where Dr. Swami was Incharge of Orthopaedic Department. I told him whole matter, after hearing he just took my daughter Hand and set it. Asked me to take her outside for some time. We came out of cabin, Here after few minutes miracle happened and my daughter lift her hand And Asks me to give my mobile, and even she couldn't believe that her hand is Fit now. I went to Dr Swami cabin and I thanked him a lot as he was just God for me, because I can bear anything but cannot see my daughter in Pain.
Dr. Swami in RMV is very much experienced and Genuine Dr. He even not suggested any medicine for that and told that this is elbow pull which frequently happened in toddlers.

I visited hospital for my self and my mother for orthopaedic doctor Chandrashekhar.
Felt very unhappy the way doctor treated us. He is in hurry to send patients early.
No clear prescription. He made us guilty for our disease. Surprisingly He expects patient should aware the reason and knowledge for disease, then why patient needs to go to doctor. Totally not satisfied. For 15 min delay for appointment time they made us to wait for hour. I was second patient but they send me by late. Not only unhappy My while day wasted because of this experience.

Had a nice experience. Best in this area. Nursing is really good. Insurance and billing department is excellent. Thank you RMV

They don't even bother about the patient. They need 1st registration and discussion with receptio and nurses. My husband was having viral fever and they don't even bothered to give medication and fluids. Pathetic service. Worst

Helpful staff. Busy hospital, so you might have to wait a while before the doctor sees you. Very clean and well maintained.

One of the worst hospital i haver seen useless stop i went with my child he is crying with fever no one care me i waited 1hr nothing response from stap im searching below 1 star but option to give worst

Excellent service got my vaccination here as my age group vaccine weren't available in the BBMP health centres tried my level best to get myself vaccinated in one of the government hospitals alloted but the same tale continued no dose available for 18+ so had to settle in for this paid one. Have known this hospital ever since i landed in this city. Decent one and good helpful doctors and nurses.

That ent doctor knows nothing.
Even my sister doing 4 th year mbbs told that I had dns, I did not even suspect dns.
Worte a huge list of medicine.

I had full blocked nose. He gave a medicine which requires a open nose. What will that medicine do if I don't have a open nose.

For one two days the symptoms will be gone after that it will reoccur

Honestly this is the most unorganised hospital I've ever been too. The receptionists themselves don't know what time the doctors arrive and they always give the wrong information. Overly priced for such poor output.

I am very happy that I took my father to this hospital during COVID. The staff are very helpful, the doctors are present. They are empathetic. They have chair for people who are waiting for their turn outside the hospital maintaining social distancing. And very reasonably charged.

Never visit Dr Chandrashekar R (Ortho). Highly impatient. Lacks basic etiquette while communicating with patients. Jumps to conclusions without hearing to the patient's complains. Improper hurried diagnosis. Mental truma that he induces will make u forget why you actually visited him.
Otherwise a good local hospital for minor emergencies.

Worst hospital that I have visited.there is not Iqueie system at all.anybody can walk in as they want and we have to fight to get our turn, orelse people who comes late, will just walk in.have been waiting from almost an hour in queue.followed up somany times with nurse and she asked us to wait and I was waiting with patience and suddenly they let other person in.such a pathetic hospital.never recommend this hospital anyone.will never visit it again. In case if you are planning to visit, it's just time waste.

The best hospital in the locality. Best doctors. Myself and my family have been visiting this hospital for over a decade, over the years, it's clear for me that this hospital and the management is NOT money minded and always stands for true spirit of health care. Thank you.

No respect for patients time

Treatment is good but the management or the doctors do not value patients time. I have visited this place twice both the times with appointment and I have been made to wait for 2 + hours after my appointment time. The receptionist should note the number of patients and share appointment accordingly. Please block half a day if u visit this place for a consultation.

Worst nursing staff and bad experience with these nurses. Took my brother this morning at 6 30 am as he complained of severe stomach ache. He was given an IV injection. I was given a list of medicines written by the nurse and asked to go to payment counter. The guy there charged 300 and asked to get the medicines from the nearby RMV pharmacy. Brother's pain was gone due to pain killers and the doctor suggested scans to be done at 10. She gave a pain killer in case there is pain again. We decided to come at 10 for scan. As i was leaving, the nurse asked to get the medicines that she had listed. I decided to take it later as were going to come again at 10.

When i reached home, I recieved a call from that same nurse. She accused me of not replacing the IV injection. I explained to her that i didnt know that i was supposed to do it. And i will do it at 10 when we will go again for scanning
But she accused me of taking her advantage. Apparently she had done a great favor to us during our emergency and i just absconded after putting her into trouble. Her language and tone both were abusive.

I went back to hospital immidiately. I bought the IV from attached RMV pharmacy and went to clarify it with her. To my surprise her colleague also started saying that she heard her telling me that i have to get the IV 'replaced'.

a normal person wont understand that IV needs to be replaced if not told explicitly. I assumed it was handled along with the bill i payed in hospital. The medicines that they asked to get was for me and i could do it later. I didnt deserve their abuses.

Dr. Ravi (General Physician) is one of the nonsense doctor i ever seen, He do not have patience to spend time with patients, He is using always mobile phones while consulting, He do not listen what we are saying. Please do not go for his consultations, simply waste of money 350rs. Instead of Ravi, better you can consult with Veterinary doctor.

Recently last week myself and my father had been to rmv clinic to meet ravi sir as recommended by apartment friend since we are new to bangalore for treatment my father was suffering with stomach pain doctor asked for scan which should swelling in stomach then ct advised done showed some mass in intestine as advised colon scopy done showed cancer my father visited sai hospital 1 month back where nothing has been done even though dignosis in not diguistable my mother asked me to meet ravisir to thank him for proper diagnosis in time
now father is on treatment with Dr shekar patil

It is jst a month till now when I started to come for physiotherapy- Dr Raj Khanna. It is jst amazing I have recovered well. I had consulted almost to many doctors but nothing work for me. I was suggested by 1 of my relative about dr raj khanna it really worked. I was under bed rest for 4 months continuously now I'm much better. Dr raj Khanna is an amazing physiotherapist. Thank u Dr Raj khanna

Hospital and doctors are too good.and am regular patient there and my family too.today with high throat pain and fever went to meet doctor Ravi sir.my token number was 7 I went down and came up that time 5th number patient went.help desk female so so called Vinutha her name it seems treated me so badly.she told remove my jacket to check bp I told I am feeling so cold she threw the machine and told she ll not check.purposely she made me sit till 9/10 number patient goes inside.den she sent me inside.when I asked her name I have to complain about ur rudeness how ur treating patient.she told go down and ask with arrogance she replied.is thz the way to treat patient? Leave about me I don’t want any patient should go through like thz.

I do not know much about other doctors in this hospital but a doctor named ravi kumar is one of the third class doctor i have ever seen. He does not know how to treat patient.he does not listen your problems.and he is in fact in mood of throwing u out within a second saying bla bla. Never ever go to this doctor.i am fed up of him. I went to him two times and faced the same problem. And also he has no time sense. Evening his time is 6: 30 but he comes after 7 o clock. Worst fellow.i wonder how come has become doctor. God saves us when we have these kind of doctors.

Dr. Ravikumar doesn't listen your problem properly and u will be out within 1 minutes. Waste of money Rs. 350.huge consultation charges considering 1 min.
