Great people with great skills.workmanship is good, Leatherite and other materials they would give great finish but with pure leather they are not that good.
A school also runs in Al-Aqsa Mosque And here, along with prayers, the children are taught the Qur'an and the beliefs of the hadiths and the teachings of the Sunnah And the name of the school of Al-Aqsa Mosque is Madrasah Ashraf Uloom and the time of the school of Al-Aqsa Mosque starts immediately after Fajr prayer.
I wanted to modify my seats for Honda Hness CB350 and my cousin suggested Rao seats as they are the experts. I was attended by William sir and he asked about my requirements patiently and suggested few options. I requested to reduce seat height and as per their suggestion, I got gel pad added to rider seat for extra comfort and some soft cusion for pillion seat. All the staff are very polite, price is a bit on higher side. But the final work after completion is superb and everything was done with perfection! Very satisfied with the outcome.
It's a scam here.they have charged me 3k for the gel and its not for full seat just for the rider seat. Be vry careful with these ppl.even we work hard and get paid.they can't cheat and make money I totally disappointed.
Amazing work done by them as a team all aged and experienced people doing the work they are more conscious about customer satisfaction than making money they will write the date on back of the seat so that u will be having warranty period if anything damaged caused within the warranty period they will repair it free of cost really I'm one among the most satisfied customers
The go to seat cover place for any superbike, 650 twins and any other two wheeler. The quality of seating is perfect and you couldn't want more. Definitely worth trying it out.
The guy is really good with the work and has been doing this for a long time. But now his service is overpriced. The quality on the other hand remains good and I would recommend people for this. He does good quality work with good material.
Best way to ensure a more fair price is to negotiate down. Make sure you don’t take your bike, have the seat removed and take that there because these people will see the bike and quote a higher price. I took a UM Renegade and they thought it was a Harley Davidson and quoted an insanely high price. And the guy was ballsy enough to say that since my bike’s a HD this is a reasonable price. I had to argue and explain my bike wasn’t even a Harley and finally left. Got the seat removed and he came back through my uncle and he got the an initial quote for half the price without even starting a negotiation. Eventually he further negotiated and got it done at a lower and more fair price. I went back with my bike and paid him this lower price and he tried to say his initial quote with me was the higher price and demanded additional money. I told him I will only pay the price that was finalised with my uncle and that was it. He tried to demand more but I asked, how come when I come with the seat alone the older dude quotes a lesser price and otherwise you guys quote a higher price—so what’s the actual price? They couldn’t respond and I left paying him the fair price my uncle had agreed to. Gotta be real careful with these people.
You will love the seat after you get it done here. All you need to let them know is what kind of design you need. Comfort level is too good. They can do this work on any bike.
Pricing is very high. They will try to make money for every change you tell. Its up to you to bargain as per your needs.
Dont fall in this trick. They will ask you to exchange the frame with theirs which is already ready with new foam. Its OK to spend that time than getting the frame exchanged. It may cost you lesser as the foam required would be lesser.
I have been to Rao's seat covers since 2015.the dedication to detail was amazing back then. But I can't say the same for now.i just got a single seat from them and boy it's disappointing. They just listened to all my requirements and chose to ignore everything. Made a really shabby seat whose fitting and finish are pathetic. For the amount they charge, they surely seem to have taken their credibility for granted. Hope things change for better.
Just because they stich the customized seat covers, it doesn't mean that they can charge high prices. Without any reason, the old man (Rao) quotes the high price. If you say NO and start walking back, he will start reducing the price. The seat cover material are very minimum. They hardly have 4 to 5 varities of seat cover material. The place is not worth visiting.
This shop is very famous in Bangalore. All kinds of two wheeler seat modification and custum seat covers will be tailored. Two wheeler Parking place is available in front of shop.
They are impolite people. They quote unimaginable and unjustifiable price. I went for gel padding for bike (with small seat) after watching some YouTube reviews, they quoted initially 3500 and later 4000 for that. I have even witnessed cheating they did to a bullet guy (They sold him a damaged seat and the owner told the helper boy in Kannada that the customer will never got to know). I am giving them 2 stars only because of their warranty.
Way too expensive. Greedy people took more than what was agreed. 3500 is way too much for seat cover. They have different prices for different folks. Garage mechanics; 250 for Activa Seat cover. If Normal people go; the same cover is 500. If you say you read about them on teambhp, then finished… same cover they will sell for Rs. 750. There was a time when they were reasonable. Social media praise has gone to their head and are demanding sky high prices. Also you need be really patient. They do their own thing. And try to pin blame on you for miscommunication. Try other shops if you can
Perfect place for seat modification. Shop owner and staffs are very polite and friendly. Price little costly but it's worth the comfort and finish. Very satisfied with seat work done by Rao Seats for my RE classic.
The best experienced hands will craft your seat to perfection. Yes, the pic says it all. Got my RE's seat modified with gel & regular foaming. Really liked the timely service. Highly recommended!
Williams is the person to contact here.got done my royal enfield electra seat here, very happy with the work and the price. Avoid going on weekend as the place is crowded.
I would have given 5 stars but they are really unprofessional. Before starting the work they said 2000 bucks which is already high but after finishing they started increasing the price and I ended up paying 2.3k. Guys even though you are good Craftsmen, please be professional enough to honor a deal.
Just got the stock seats on my jawa replaced with a custom seat made at Rao seats. It is a non descript shop in a by lane of Shivaji Nagar. The workmanship however is another level. I met William there. I showed him a picture of a seat I wanted for my bike. He showed me some of his designs. We fixed couple of them on my bike and I rode to rest. We finally decided on a custom seat and he got on to the job right away. Couple of hours later I have the seat I wanted on my bike. Compared to jawa seats, any seat would be better but there comfort I now feel on these new seats is comparable to Harley seats.
Amazing' collection of seat covers with extra option for cushions. Perfect delivery of work with atmost quality. However, when looked at price point, it's slightly on a expensive side. One should even look at investing their time. It will easily take upto 2 hour's.
Too overpriced You can get a similar service at many places They charge too much because they know they are popular, but they do same work as any other And the work they do is mediocre and never dekiver on time
Way too expensive and takes way too long to get anything done here. They know of their reputation online, so the extra prices only for the name now. They do respond to your requirement though. They will try their best to accommodate all you want. I had a special design which they came very close to making. I it's not perfect - still ok. But water seeps into the seat and my pants would have patches for days after it rains. They had me coming to their shop 3 times before they finally agreed to fix it - for extra charges of course. Could have told me so while making the seat so I would have paid the extra amount and saved the multiple trips.
So go there only if you have a special design you want done. For simple work any other shop would be fine. Also bargain hard - check prices of designs on Amazon before going there. Settle on a price before they start working on it. And yes, probably get water proofing done as well.
I got to know about this shop from Royal Enfield mechanic. This shop is famous for all types of seat modification/alteration. I got my bikes seat foam cut but half an inch for which they charged a reasonable amount of 200₹. They alter the seat as per our requirements.
I have changed my avenger seat there. It was perfect and with good quality. Those who wants to modify their seats, this is the right place in Bangalore.
You get what you want and that's one key reason anyone and everyone suggests this place for seat customization. Went there to get my jawa42 seat redone and was very very happy with the outcome. Beware if you are going on weekends as the wait for your turn will be forever. Call them before going and that would be ideal. William's is the main magician to look out for and he does an amazing job with finishing.
Right place for bike seats, changed interceptor 650's seat, costed 3000rs, seats are based on original royal Enfield seat, few different options, personalization available. Nothing to complain about, good shop!
Great work done by these people. They make seat cushions for all two wheelers with different levels of seat comfort. Highly recommended place. Prices are reasonable depending on the type of cushion you opt.
Costly but valueable. They seem little irresposible but they know what they are doing. I am a tall guy and needed customised seats for my interceptor 650 and rx135. They did a neat job. They have specialised seat foams that I didnt find any where else in the city. We have to clearly explain them what we want and theyll get the job done.
I am visiting this shop since 10 years! I changed my first cover for my Yamaha rx 100 in 2007, apache seat cover in 2016, C350 in 2018 and now jawa 2019 Except 2 old staffs other people are very attitude and doesn't have curtosy to respond to customers! Quality is one of the ÷+ point of this shop
Rao seat cover is easy one of the best place in Bangalore to find a seat cover for royal Enfield bikes. For complete good seat cover it costs ₹2500 and for a seat cover with good foam he costs you ₹3000. The shopkeeper is friendly, staff is co-operate.its narrow two way road.
