Rare earth estate home is a charming stay experience with unique chetinad decor, great service, and a memorable stay. Kudos to Prakash for being friendly and welcoming to all our needs. Great service overall!
Very beautiful place and an excellent staff. The service was very good, and they were quick to respond to our needs. The food was so good that I felt that they were getting the food straight from the Taj restaurant instead of cooking it in the house.
Special thanks to Bijay for cooking amazing dishes and Mahesh for his fast and good service. It is very highly recommended for a nice vacation with family. Although I do suggest that you come in a large group. You could also go for short walks around the property for excellent views.
Absolutely wonderful stay! A perfect getaway for family and friends, esp with Pets. 1. Beautiful chola style bungalow, it’s very spacious, yet comfortably furnished. Love the small ludo table top around the couches. The old world charm has a luxurious feel. 2. Everything was clean and very well maintained 3. Loved the staff, Vishal, Bijoy and Sonam and Harish. Cannot thank them enough for going out of their way to make our stay so comfortable. Vishal needs a special mention for sending my phone when I left it back there and Bijoy is an excellent cook. They were courteous, well trained and very kind! 4. Stayed two days, definitely need to plan a longer stay and will return back 5. India has no place for families traveling with Pets except Taj. Most pet friendly hotels are hovels. Taj doesn’t compromise. We try to always book Taj hotels and their sister stays. They never disappoint. We are loyal to a brand that understands the needs of having pets and loving them in luxury. Great job done Taj and Ama stays and trails!
Wonderful stay! Had some issue reaching and finding staff to open gate but team of cordial staff made my stay memorable and comfortable. Vishal, Manoranjan, Lucky and Vijay made sure all my needs are taken care of. Its small estate home with 4 rooms on main building and one cottage. Its tidy, well maintained and homely. Perfect place if you planning family get together. Main hall gives you feeling of colonial time and has multiple set of seating option, small library and board games. There is small garden at front as well for leisure walk. Its bit secluded and absolute quite. Internet is via dongle so nit best speed but that shouldn't be your priority here anyway.

My family stayed at Rare Earth in Coorg (Ama Stays and Trails) for a short holiday in July 2022. Having previously stayed at many of the gorgeous Tata Plantation bungalows in Coorg, we were not sure how this would turn out to be - as the house looked different from the old plantation bungalows. The experience was marvelous as this home also sits well in the middle of splendid nature and its style and ambience fits well into the local setting. What also added to the whole experience was the outstanding service of the team that manages the day-to-day service at Rare Earth - Manoranjan, Chef Manjunath, Vishal and Likhit were so responsive, generous and wonderfully attentive. The service is excellent. This is a place also for walks if it isn't raining.
Wow! Possibly one of the best stays, i have had in recent time. This simple yet comfortable stay was an amazing getaway. Chettinad housing, coorgi delicacies and most importantly a welcoming staff made this trip a memorable one.
