This cafe has the bestest vibes. The menu is limited but tasty food and coffee.
You can just grab a book and immerse yourself with a cup of freshly brewed coffee with a Lilly pond view.

The whole experience was wonderful The coffee, service and menu are delightful. It's one of those places in this range in Coorg which is truly value for money. The landscape is pretty and truly you are amidst nature but with a very warm culture of service. Loved my visit with friends to the restaurant. Thank you

The Food quality is good when the owner is around.else the food can be pathetic and horrible.
We ordered Pasta and it was like macaroni overcooked. They changed it to a dry macaroni. It was just waste of money.please do not serve Italian food without proper recipes.

My two days at Riverside Coffee Estate in Siddapur, Coorg, were nothing short of magical. The host family and their team truly redefine hospitality. It was a first-time trip with my mom, and every moment felt like a cherished memory.

What stood out was the impeccable food, sourced directly from the farm. Each meal was a culinary delight, bursting with freshness and flavor. The farm-to-table experience was not just a concept here; it was a way of life.

And let's talk about their coffee! I'm still entranced by the unique fragrance that accompanied every cup. It was like a symphony for the senses, and I couldn't get enough of it. Thanks to Chandan, who brewed it for me every time and did a fantastic job.

The serene ambience was the perfect backdrop to our getaway. Our cottage was a slice of paradise, and the pondside dining was a serene experience in itself. Appreciate their effort towards Solar Energy usage and hardly any waste of water.

Beautifully done place. Lovely vistas of the fields and coffee estat. Exquisite coffee. Don't forget to pick up their homegrown roasts.

Hotels speciality is not good, worst experience ever I had, waste of money pleace don't visit these resort.

1. The Cottages are great! But way too expensive. (You could get a 4 star resort at these prices)
2. There is no Hot water, we stayed for 3 days and they couldn't fix it.
3. There is no room service, and they don't mention that anywhere while booking.
4. The cafe is far from the cottages, so even if you want a bottle of water, you will have to walk yourself to the cafe and get the water.
5. Too much noise of Crickets (it's like a 24 hour fire alarm) It hardly stops. And too many bugs and creepy crawlers all over the place. Even when the cottages are closed, somehow they get inside the bathroom.
6. They ask for ₹150 Extra to change the towels the next day. (we argued about this and they didn't charge us for it) but if someone's gullible enough, they might charge you for these kinds of things.
7. They don't change the sheets the next day, they just turn it around.

Needs a lot more focus on quality food. Great ambience and near clean all over.

The serenity, calmness, fantastic staff, delicious food, and picturesque view of the coffee estate – everything in this resort is par excellence. Right from our check-in to our check-out, the experience was surreal. Rooms were clean, very comfortable, welcoming and cheerful staff to the resort's location made this place truly a home away from home. The experience of touring the coffee estate is one of a kind, as the breathtaking views and the soothing vibes are just the right doses for the visitors!

Hello to all coffee and nature lovers. I generally do not write reviews. But i have to share my experience about this place.

My recent stay at Riverside Coffee along with my family was one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

I have travelled across the world but never thought that i could still experience something which would leave me spellbound but this place has proved me wrong.

Everything from ambiance to nature to cottages and most importantly the team at this estate is amazing

Rishwin and Natya are an amazing couple who own this estate and their team- Geena, Chandan, Adi, Akshay, Avi, Nisha and many others.sorry of if i have missed some names coz all were very nice and polite.

Not to forget the cafeteria and food was also amazing.

It was great stay and very friendly staff who helped us in all ways. Good food and a lovely stay which a mixture of native and modern touch to it. Thanks to all the staff.

We booked this place as it was pet friendly. Seemed like a great place initially. But made us wait for the room for almost 1.5 hrs. Finally we got our cottage which looked small. The bedsheets were not clean and the extra bed was not fully covered with bedsheet and we could see the dust on the mattress and underneath.
We had basic lunch and they charged extra for non veg which is not in the price. The dinner was so bad with dry pea soup and and dry pea curry, paneer and some rice and had to wait for roti for 10 minutes. Not very appetizing. There were power cuts so often. Even though it is pet friendly which they claim to be and they charge us 750 per day without food, other guests are very rude when they see our pet. Next day no hot water, nobody answers your call, had to walk and complain about it. They took care of it in the afternoon. We were planning to cancel for the 2nd day but they were adamant we pay for it. The 2nd day we didn't bother with lunch and dinner. We had it outside the estate. The bill came up to 30k which was not worth at all.

Very quiet and serene place to stay. Service is just excellent and food is too yummy.

Staff there are very good and helpful in nature. Best place to stay away from madekeri.

Pathetic service. It took them 50 min to give us the coffee. 2 of the 4 coffee were given when we were done with our food. Coffee were very avg. Mocha was not mocha, it was just a normal cappuccino. Food was below avg.
Only good thing about the place was the ambience and location. Went their for pizza, it too was not available.

Perfect location, the best service, kind staff, great food. The perfect getaway for anyone looking for an escape from life in the city!

The Riverside team is extremely passionate about their coffee and hosting their guests. Hoping to visit again soon!

A place to remember.

Stayed in this property from 22nd -24th April. This place is something which I will remember for long, the experience which I got is priceless.

Things to do -

Drink lots of coffee.
Eat breakfast lunch and dinner at the property the food is very delicious, Also try pizza.
Wake up early go for a walk (6: 00 am)
Go for a coffee plantation tour.
Forget all your worries.

Generator is present in the property.

One of the most amazing and beautiful resorts I have ever visited. Amidst the lust green Cove estate are only four cottages.
The food and coffee is super delicious.

It was a good time with River Side Estate.
They have 4 cottages. So you won't have rush. You can walk and enjoy the estate. Restaurant food is good. I loved the idly and sambar. Which was next level. They have home made wine, coffee powder etc.

You have to go to restaurant for food. No room service.

Food price is little higher but the taste is good.

I've travelled all over the world, including all 5-star properties at Coorg and can honestly say that this is, by far, the BEST eco-resort I've stayed at, so much so, that I have tried to make it an annual tradition to come here. The setting is a few cottages and an open cafe amidst a prodigious coffee estate. Nice, lush green surroundings with lots of open spaces to go around for a walk or a run. The owners are extremely nice, friendly and wonderful people. The staff is always courteous, polite and well-trained. The food is simple but exquisite in taste. You also won't get much better coffee elsewhere. The feeling provided here is of a homestay where whatever you need will be made available. The cottages are nice and clean, just about the perfect size for a small family. The bathrooms are huge with a great bath. You sincerely get the feeling of being one with nature here and almost everything about the place makes you happy. There is also a whole ecosystem by the pond where you can sit at and relax. This is a must visit for folks who would like some peace and tranquil, where things slow down, away from the city life. The place is pet-friendly as well without the inexplicable restrictions that some other resorts have. Trust me as a fellow hodophile, if there is one place you need to visit and stay at Coorg, it is certainly here! I'm already looking forward to my next visit:)

Rooms weren't so neat, they just arranged making us wait for 1 hour.
No proper service, you should keep on asking them.
Very basic food, less quantity, charged very high.
Paid 11,200 per day. And absolutely not worth.

A perfect gateway in nature with all Morden amnesties and a lot of things to do for fun! Went with husband and daughter and they just had a blast.also Rishwin, who owns the place via friendly and lively. The cottages are one of the best in class in design and comfort. The island gives you immense privacy and peace and the cafe is happening! I would surely like to come back and stay here.

There is however no room service and it is located around an hour from Madikeri.
