Rockside Bar & Restaurant

Once a local bar in my teens turned and developed to the new concept of the resto bar in karkala, the foothills of kudremukh serving the best pitcher beer.
Even in the pubs of Mangalore, I crave to get this good chilled draught beer.
Food is ok. U can try as i relished on their idli and chicken curry only. Visit if you are around.

Nice bar and restaurant on Highway side. This restaurant is located on Karkala - Dharmasthala Highway. Spacious parking lot available for vehicles. Cabins as well as open hall available for sitting. Food and beverages are very nice.

We recently dropped into Rockside Resto bar and had a fantastic dinner. The staff were very welcoming and were very kind. The food was delicious and very fresh. We enjoyed the chilled dinner vibe.

Food was really good.
Ordered prawns ghee roast, pork salad and thawa fry fish (bangude / mackerel). Everything tasted great.

The place is somewhat expensive, but the taste and the quality service justifies it.

Ambience is nice. Dim yellow lights. Cabins for a high degree of privacy. Great staff for service. Very well maintained toilets. Loads of parking. It looks like a simple place from the main road, but once you step inside it's good.

The food was amazing. Service was good, but I had to wait a long time for the food. Priced affordable, this is one of the best restaurants for drinks and drinks in Karkala.
Noodles are a must try.

Fish fry was the one we relished here and it came true as told to us when we thought about lunch. It might look a bit not for family types from inside ; look out for only the a/c for a family place.

Food was Delicious, parking was near to the restaurent. Chicken butter garlic, chicken crispy is a must try.

The food over here is great. Really nice. Their pork chilly and soups are a must try. The place is budget friendly too.

It's ok for your tummy to be filled.
We ordered meals and starters.
The meals was decent but rice wasn't hot.

We were in the AC room and they switched on tv inside that room as there was match going on that time.

Great place to chill out with friends in Karkala. It's located just beside the highway. It has good parking area. Food is good and service is also fast. Overall good experience.

An absolute gem in karkala, must go place for authentic food. Would recommend everyone to go checkout the place.

It's huge place inside. Everything well furnished and kept neat and clean. The cleanliness and beauty is the main attraction of udupi, mangalore side hotels as well as bar's. We were 22 people at lunch and they served really well. Presentation and timing was awesome. Taste, I would give 9.5 out of 10. I know they can make better than that. Crew was wonderful, they didn't mind the diversity in our orders. Large parking area and the interior is super cool.

Awesome place, very close to NH. Sitting place near the entrance is crowded as its a bar. But the interior is beautiful. The dishes are yummy especially the fish tawa. Only problem the management charges 3% extra on bill for usage of credit card. Ample parking place by the ROCK SIDE

They provide tasty food. And talking about price, all level people can afford it normal price they charge for food and drinks. Have parking place also for both 4 & 2 wheel.

Speaking abt quality and quantity.quality is good but quantity is not what we expect for the money it cost (food only not drinks).

On high recommendation we ordered a lot of food on 18 /07/21 but it was a disaster, stale fish and biryani (plain rice with a chicken pieces). Totally spoilt our party that evening.

Lack of cooling except a/c room. This place is not built to cool down the sheltered area to divert customers to a/c room. Unusually hot even after sunset!

Food is a bit expensive for the quality. Lemon Chicken was the worstever I've tasted. It was bitter. Had to throw it away.

The place is a small roadside joint which has recently been done up a bit. It has a small grungy ac room and the rest of the place looks like a dive. Service is quick and the food tasty though.

We visited the restaurant with family. And the restaurant seemed to occupied. Your waiters instead of finding us a table they asked us to go in search of one.and made us roam everywer and at the end they said they r no tables and you can leave. Waiters are rude towards the customer.

Interesting bar obviously near a huge rock. The fish was excellent. Very local but clean. Washrooms could be improved

Make waiter as ur Manager they are good. Ur present manager thinks like his is owner. His is not kind to customers.

They charge 3% extra on bill amount from customers for card transactions which is not acceptable. Its merchant's duty to pay the transaction fees and not by the customer.

If you want to party or celebrate the birthday.do not go to this place because we cannot enjoy here because the manager is too strict

Though food is good, worst kind of service and comparatively more expensive than any bar and restaurants in Karkala.

Very well placed bar and restaurant. I love to have pork here. Me and my friends frequently have dinner here. Best bar and restaurant near karkala price is ok ok for some dishes it's costly.
