The ambience is brilliant! Friendly staff. The food takes sometime though, but the taste is worth the wait, if you're not too sure of what to order you can ask the waiters for recommendations, they know best.
There was corn slurry in the soup and that too was not cooked properly and the starter which we ordered had pebbles in it. It used to be a decent place sometime back but now the quality is decreasing in a downward spiral.
Their chicken rara and mix kulcha is really delicious! Quality wise it’s upto the mark and ambience too is good. It is a Family restaurant and they got roof top as well which is much better to have dinner.
Amazing only one thing which doesn’t suit the atmosphere and pinches in the eyes is the Red, green flicking light on the waterfall side! It is hampering the aesthetic outlook of the restaurant!
The ambience is brilliant friendly staff. The food take sometime though, but the taste is worth the wait, if you are not too sure of what to order you can ask waiter for recommendation, they know best.
I recently dined at Roots restaurant in Bengaluru and was thoroughly impressed. The menu boasts a remarkable variety of North Indian dishes, catering to a wide range of tastes. The service was swift and efficient, ensuring that our orders were promptly delivered.
The staff's attentiveness and excellent training were evident throughout our visit. They were not only knowledgeable about the menu but also displayed a genuine commitment to making our dining experience enjoyable.
Two dishes that stood out were the crispy corn and the refreshing watermelon juice—both must-try options that showcase the restaurant's culinary expertise.
What sets Roots apart is its tranquil and peaceful ambiance, offering a welcome escape from the city's hustle and bustle. It's an ideal spot to unwind and savor your meal in a serene environment.
In summary, Roots restaurant delivers a memorable experience for North Indian cuisine lovers. With its diverse menu, efficient service, well-trained staff, and standout dishes, such as the crispy corn and watermelon juice, it provides a delightful dining journey. Don't believe this reviews this are all paid.one.they say.to give 5star and they will send 50rs.but.don't believe it's a type of fraud. & Quality is not good here
Heard a lot about the Great food here, so went there yesterday. Must say the staff were Great. But not so much the food. The Chef must like tomato purée a lot. I mean a lot.paneer Makhani, and mutton roghan josh had the exact. I mean exact same curry (guess.tomato purée). Sorry guys you need to know how to make roghan josh.
Ambience is fantastic, service was okay but the main thing which is food is pathetic. Served cold starters and there was no taste at all with all food items.
Roots was the standard to follow in terms of service. But now it has deteriorated. During my last visit, ground floor was closed. 4th floor is worst place to visit with family or if you do not smoke.
You are forced to inhale cigarette smoke. And staff service quality is worst as of now. Only positive is the taste. I feel I will never visit here again. Sorry to see such a good restaurant missing on customer service.
Mocktail - Double Berry was good Starter - American crispy corn is good, stuffed paneer has very less pieces (4) Main - paneer lababdaar was good All in all nice price and food. Use Dineout to claim around 25% off and if you have a hdfc credit card you get 10% additional
Worst Service I had in this Restaurant on first Visit. Even the Restaurant Manager did not Bother to Repeated Complaint. Food was good. One more issue is that Service Charge in the bill is Mentioned. It does not go thr Government it goes to the Restaurant pocket. I am going to give a Complaint in GST office regarding the Service Tax.
Some items on the menu were unavailable seemingly due to insufficient cooking staff. The overall taste seems to have deteriorated but hopefully this is temporary. We really liked their friend sweet corn starter!
We visited this place after years, but it turned out to be disappointing. The naan had already become rubbery and the curries were on the sweeter side. Came with great expectations as it used to be before but turned out to be bad.
Great ambience ️ food was delicious. Only few varieties of beer were available still Budweiser was served. That was really nice. The dum briyani was delicious and quantity was so fulfilling. The honey grilled sesame chicken was the best. It tasted really soooo good and it still makes me drool. It definitely a must try dragon chicken too was good the service was so pleasing. Good place for a good time with good food️ I loved it
Amazing nature themed restaurant, ideal for friends and family get together. Got sufficient place for kids ans toddlers to mess around. Only thing that was lacking this time was the aquarium had no fishes unlike our last visit a year back. It would be a good crowd puller if the management ensures this is done. Else the food quality is amazing and absolutely a pleasure to order. Time taken is also not much from ordering to serving. People working there are mostly North Indians and speak Hindi fluently and are pretty well behaved. It's a pleasure to visit there again and again.
We had gone for late lunch and it was our first experience at Roots. Food was average. Ambience and decor is nice. Golden prawn was over pricy wrt it's taste and quantity. Chicken wings stuff tandoor is served with tomato sauce which is below expectations wrt it's taste and preparation. Hope Roots is to improve its quality in food and taste.
This place is great! Amazing food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Must try Tandoori Stuffed Chicken Wings!
Amazing experience at Rooftop with moonlighting. Decent choice of cuisine, good preparation and presentation of food. Pocket friendly and warm customer service.
The food is pathetic.the honey sesame chicken and tandoori stuffed wings we ordered were served cold. I'm not sure how they could serve cold food. And the over hyped roots special briyani was pathetic. I find it an overrated restaurant and will not suggest to new people.
Amazing non veg and veg food with a very good place on the roof top. I had never tasted such delicious mutton pepper dry ever. Dal kichdi was also good.decent place for food.
We went lastday food was pathetic. Since it's a Friday night. They are full on rush to throw us out asap for new customers.wont recommend this place for good food but ambiance is nice.
Food is below average Don't go for main course. Starters are good enough. If you go on weekends they will become fulll commercial amd try to throw you out asap for new customers
This is one of the most disappointing restaurants i have been to.
And now I know why.
They take alot of time to take order and come back. In case you would like to have something in between.like i wants sauce they take forever to come back. And your food is wasted.
There problem is there kitchen is outside and upstairs so that is why people have to keep in and out.
Hate to say this why transferring food from kitchen to restaurant food is open and not covered. Just feel this not worth going at all.
Loved their food, especially the paneer Tikka masala and their mixed kulcha. Nice ambience although the music can be a bit loud. Good service and reasonably priced. Great for modern Indian cuisine.
Food is amazing. Have heard about this place a lot but dint got time to visit but today was the day. Ambience, food, hospitality everything up to the mark.will surely visit again.
Food is good but over crowded and there is hardly any cross ventilation so sometimes become suffocated also no parking space they offer valle but trust me I have no confidence on them, they park some where near on such a narrow roads.
The menu was awesome! It had huge options in vegetarian as well as non vegetarian. This bar attached restaurant served many signature dishes. Thier mocktails was the highlight.
It's better if you book a tablet before you visit to avoid waiting time. Mostly its crowded during weekends.
It is a good experience. Well the ambiance is good for family dine. Waiters are well mannered. Food is delicious specially Dal makhani but if I talk about Kashmir dum Aloo it is not up too the mark.
Good place to have a team lunch and friendly atmosphere for families too. Good no of varieties.few dishes are excellent. I liked dal makhani and panner thikka.
Loved it. Great food. Great ambience. Great hospitality! The service is incredible. The interiors of the restaurant is beautiful. Good place for a quite date evening or a team lunch or a get together. Only downside I can think of is the price.a bit expensive but it's totally worth it!
The interior exactly suits the name of the restaurant. Best in foods and drinks specially on weekdays. Well mannered staffs, hygiene environment, fast service.overall nice
If you stay in Bangalore and love Chinese food, then you are surely going to get disappointed. BUT this place serves one of the best Chinese foods in bangalore. Do try this place. The ambiance is good too and its not very expensive.
Book before your visit. Best place for dinner. Have visited more than 15 times and never been bored with the ambience and drinks. The food menu is good but lacks variety. Valet parking is available. The price is moderate.
Something very good something ok. First you will get a welcome drink. Tandoori Chiken is must try dish. Overall food is good not so bad, not much expensive. Chiken item you will less gravy & also they don’t serve extra gravy. I think they should work on it. Hygiene level is very good.
Roots is an amazing restaurant located in Koramangla, near to Sony signal. The ambiance is great and the food and service is really good. The food is kind of cheap than most places. The place is best for treats and birthday partys, they have a big menu with a lot of items.
Good food with great ambience. Some chicken dishes were less spicy. Menu had all variety of cuisines. Nice service by the staff. Must visit place for small team lunch and get togethers
