It was a nice experience, got unwell, two of their staff, made sure that I am well. Provided all the services till my bed.

Beautiful location, great hospitality and tasty food.
Mr Umesh and team were fantastic.
Loved the place. Best resort to create some lovely memories with your family.

It's one of the peaceful and in lap of nature resort, owner Vijay Goeda and staff are also very friendly, ambience is verrrry good and hiking is must.

Minus their no music policy rest everything was great.also food service could be better.non veg quantity served was very less.

It was a good experience in Rottikallu. We were there for two days and it's was an fantastic stay. Close to nature, hospitality is good, views are beautiful and scenic. Recommend for a vacation

Rottikallu is close to nature, surrounded with Serene western ghats. Only resort walking the talk in terms of sustainable hospitality, no music zones and premise with no network reception so that you can enjoy the nature at its best without interruption of social media

Beautiful destination for weekend trip.
Nice stay, food was good.
No mobile network, but wifi is available.

Stayed here for one night in 1st week of July.
Rooms are clean and spacious
Entire staff are courteous and owner himself is available for any help needed.
They make very conscious effort to make guest comfortable.
Enjoyed our stay. One suggestion could be to have a kettle I room, it would help to have warm water at night.
Suggestion to fellow travellers is the mobile network at this location is very bad so keep you near and dear ones informed before you reach here.

Great location. Right in middle of forest.

Very average rooms. Not great food.

Visited almost 7 years ago with office colleagues. Place is located a bit interior, you need your own vehicle to reach. Outdoor activities are available to enjoy as a team. Food was okayish when we visited. Visit preferably during monsoon season if you are interested in the water games available here.

Had a get together with friends and families. Had a great time amidst rain. Lot of activities to enjoy and relax in nature.

Beautiful location and very good food. Parking inside gate, but road leading to the resort is bad. You may not get mobile signal. Trekking or walking may not be worth but the resort itself as many activities which can be enjoyed if there is no rain.

The place to enjoy monsoon season it rains 24/7, perfect place for colleagues and friends for entertainment along with activities.

It was such beautiful view of Western gats with a real view of beautiful nature. Good response with testy food style of malnad and coorge.excellent experience.so many games also available

Nice low key resort with very diffrent activities. Speciality was that all activities wer related to water like mud volley ball, zip line with landing in water, stream crossing, tube floating in water stream, swing over the stream, coracle ride, kayaking and many rope activities. Food is only Malnad style but reasonable in taste.

The best thing about this place is that's location. It's located at the edge of the forest. There is lot of greenery around you can see the mountain you can see lot of trees you can see running water stream. So a very awesome place. To top it all you have activities that you can do for free.

Correl boating, mud water volleyball swinging zipline etc etc.
Last time when we went or activities were free but this time the zipline was be paid extra.

The best thing is the Bon fire at night. You will enjoy it.

Cons are not a lot of options to eat. We did not try ordering alcohol so we don't know about it. Also the breakfast on last day was great but the previous day lunch and dinner was below average.

Wonderful experience we had in this resort. Location is awesome! Food was very tasty and enjoyable. Service was good. Very well designed and close to nature. If you want to unwind and relax, shall recommend to go here.

This is my second visit to the area and pre-decided to stay here at Rottikallu resort. Stayed in Executive cottages which are beautifully located. Malnad style lunch is awesome and my family loved it. Evening snacks and barbecue can improve. Mobile network is unavailable except near reception desk. Lot of fun activities at resort.

Such a beautiful place, ideal for a weakened trip, stayed for 4 days, enjoyed lot, staff were very cooperative and owner is cheerful, food tasted different for maharashtrian like me.apart from it everything is so fresh.and yes, no network around 20km radius.

Had great experience. The resort is in the lap of nature. Food services was also great. We had opt for hanging cottage which has best view. Looking forward to visit again. Thanks

Place: Bangalore to Rotti-Kallu Resort
Date: 04-05-2022, Time around 2.00 pm
Members: 37 including Kids

Let me start with Pros:
1. Rooms were clean and tidy
2. Staff members were friendly and showed us the rooms and dormitory.
3. Outdoor activities are ok.
4. Nature friendly ("No music") - so no dance, karoke, etc etc
5. Trekking - Its just a walk through Coffee estate. Not recommended.

Now the Cons: (HIGH ALERT FOR GROUP VISITS)

Dear Mr so called rude behavior Owner. When your customers is trying to give a verbal feedback, kindly try to hear what we were trying to convey the message rather defending your incapability's.

IT all started as soon as we reached the premise and all were damn hungry. Since we had already booked and made advance payment, the expectations were,
- Food to be hot and ready for all.
- Food to be tasty (Malnad Food).
- Dedicated enough staff to serve the food.
- Variety of Food.
There was a lack of all the above during our first day of visit. Which was disappointing. Hence we had to serve ourselves (Reply wud be this is against Owner Rules). In-fact we helped the low volume staff by serving ourselves for hungry customers.
Food was cold.
Anything you ask for second round, reply is -its getting ready. We had to again wait for 15 mins.
Am worried that this resort mentions it servers 7000 customers yearly and they could not server proper timed food for 37 members, Pathetic!
Food was pathetic. No taste at all. Yes, now i will get a reply from OWNER saying this is the taste of Malnad.

After the frustrating start we advised kitchen staff that we need better food for Dinner and not to repeat the mistake and provide us tasty food.

Dinner was excellent! And they had enough staff to serve us better - Lucky us!

Morning Trek to some coffee Estate was worst. Nothing to see - Just Walk walk walk!

Now comes Breakfast: Again same issue one or the other item is not available, we had to wait for 10-15 mins. Food was ok (MALNAD STYLE) - Not GREAT!

After Checkout - I wanted to give a direct verbal feedback to OWNER. Here it starts.
OUR FEEDBACK:
- Kindly maintain enough staff to serve food for customers who are hungry travelling from long distance.
- Server Tasty food.
Yes, only these two were our Major concern, Here comes the reply.

REPLY from OWNER!
- you should not have involved in serving ourselves.you have disturbed the staff from serving food etc etc
- "Please do not visit again", you have many other resorts who can serve your needs and better food.
- He also mentioned that all have been recorded in CCTV, I asked him to show the footage. If ever we have made mistake we will accept. He didn't have the courage to show.

We didnt expect such rude behavior from this OWNER. All we wanted is better food and served hot on time. I dont think we escalated any other issues here and i believe in giving feedback when ever there is an issue.

Thanks to such RUDE OWNER, AND "SIR" WE WILL NOT VISIT AGAIN NEITHER OUR TEAM FROM BANGALORE. ALL THE BEST FOOLING CUSTOMERS WITH NAME TAG MALNAD.

Not worth for the cost. Maintenance is also not that good. Disappointed against my expectation. Even the quality of Coffee and tea was below average. May not prefer to visit again.

Excellent location surrounded by nature, good food and varieties of games, it's a good place to enjoy with family. Cottages are well maintained with hot water supply. We enjoyed a lot.

One of the best resorts in Sakleshpur.
Well maintained rooms, tasty food and it is located in a scenic place.
Its a bit difficult to reach this place but it is worth it.
Well behaved staff and friendly owner.
You will have good time with the nature and pet animals there.
They arrange for a trek to a nearby place which is good.
Cost is a bit high and also i request them to increase the number of activities

Awesome place. It's actually in the lap of nature. Great food with taste and health. Friendly staff. Must visit for 2days.

Great place to spend time. Good food. They take you for trekking guarded with their dogs. Water sports within their premises. They have an Emu too in their campus. There is no mobile network.

We group of 28 members with family enjoyed a lot here. Rooms were clean and sanitized before hand over. Food was superb.

The place is nice, staff is very courteous. I visited this place during rainy season. Sakleshpur is in malnad region, very prone to rainfall. Only thing bothered us was the incessant rainfall. The noise at night from the rain falling on the roof. Overall amidst nature, its a good place.

Amazing hospitality, serene location. Resort is located in a valley surrounded by hills. Guided treks are arranged by resort. One should not miss these treks as they open your eyes to the true beauty of this place. Also, resort contains a stream of river where multiple activites are made available, like rope activities

Wonderful experience at Rottikallu. Visited on 22ndAug2021 with family. Stunning beauty of nature; Water streams, water hole amidst the resort makes you feel so lively. Kids enjoyed in the water stream for half a day, then mud-throwball, zipliner, cricket, boating, kayaking, trekking, and much more joyful activities. Food is just fine. I liked the way the food was served in the dining - with zero wastage motto. Excellent staff and highly cooperative. I would definitely visit this place again.

Special thanks to Pratham who responded very quickly as my wife lost her wallet having cash and some valuables. Thank you very much!

Beautiful place to stay and enjoy, especially for Nature, Sports Lovers like me. Enjoyed Water Games like water volleyball, Zip Line, Boating. Food is okay.

No doubt Rotti Kallu in Sakleshpur is a beautiful get away with family and friends. The hosts at Rotti Kallu were so warm, their hospitality is beyond words. They made our stay wonderful and memorable.

There are lot of fun activities for all age groups. Hiking, Sunset views, Zip lining, Kayaking, Coracle ride, Mud Volley Ball, Tubing and more. Trip to waterfalls and coffee plantation was fun experience too.

Our host Yeshwanth was an awesome guide. He was warm, friendly, patient and very accommodating to adjust schedules as needed, since we traveled with small children.

Malnad style food being served on banana leaf was enjoyable. The camp fire and snacks in the evening was a nice experience.

We'll definitely come back here. I highly recommend Rotti Kallu to anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing vacation.

Nice place. Nice staff. Good food. Loud Music wasn't allowed and we were told it was the forest department's orders. We were allowed to play music but couldn't play it loud. They charged us 750 extra for a campfire which was stupid. We played water volleyball, zip lining and trekked a small peak for the sunrise and sunset. There is a stream running through the resort which is awesome and we spent most of our time there. We booked a dormitory and it was clean. Hot water was available. Overall, our group were satisfied. Without having seen any other resort in the surroundings, I would recommend this resort. Family friendly too.

Nice place to spend time with family. Food is good but not that great. Wonderful service as they allocate one member to each family and they are always available when you need anything.

Location, Property and Cottages are good. But no entertainment, no music allowed. Food is below average. No proper service. Costly too.

Great experience.the place is full of activities. Kayaking, zip line, rope bridge, short comfortable trek to local high point. Carry your towel, soap etc due to corona days. Food was served in traditional banana leaf plates. Excellent food. Buy your booze on way from Hassan and carry the slip, they encourage local purchase. Go for 2 nights atleast, preferably on weekdays to avoid crowd.

Overall a good place to hang around with Family and friends. Beach Volleyball, Cricket, Rope Bride, Few Guided trekking options (3km & 8 km), play in stream (Stream goes through the Resort), Camp fire (Additional cost) are the activities available.
Malnad style food served on Banana leaf and the food tastes good. Buffet breakfast in the morning with limited options
