Extremely bad experience.ordered through swiggy from this restaurant got less quantity rotten different fish wheather ordered 3 hilsa vapa. Bad behaviour got from restaurant people too

Chicken meals costs 170, one sabji, dal and chicken curry which had all bone less pieces. Taste average at best.
Didn't have anything else at 8 pm.

The main person running it is Tarak da. Just go to the shop and if you don't find him shout "Dada" or "Tarok Da" and ask for the menu. I am a regular here for a reason. It's so homely and good.

Too high cost. Food is below average. The service people are not ready to take up suggestions. Honest review.

I ordered from this place for my house warming, for 20people. Authentic Bengali flavors bashonti pulao, chicken kossa, fish kalia, cholar (chana) dal, matar paneer etc. The cost was very reasonable. You can schedule pick up from this place using dunzo or porter. The packaging is also very nice and food quality is also good.

Place are very dirty, completely unhigenic i dont know wheather they dont have proper food license, my parents got ill after having this resturant food

We had a Chicken meal, Katla Fish curry. With me one Kannadiga was there.he literally ate all the rice with chicken gravy only. Food was totally awesome, delicious. Desi Bengali dish.

We had rice thali and roti thali.
Roti, rice and dal was good.
Egg curry, soya and alu curry and fish curry was good taste wise, but we're too oily. If someone doesn't like oily food should avoid, otherwise you can remove the oil and eat.

Bengali restaurant is know as the food which they are prepared.

Authentic Bengali food to try, we just loved katla Kalia, hilish meals, go to place for bengali food heard they are starting Bengali snacks and sweets.

The place seems to be a little misplaced in time, in a high-tech city of Bangalore, you won't find the menu placard here, rather the waiter has meticulously learned the menu by heart and will tell you about the items that are available. You can see a menu chart pasted near the reception, but only the waiter there would be able to validate whether those items are available at the moment or not. I am not a Bengali, but the Bengalis I acquaint tells me that this is the taste you will find in every Bengali household. I personally liked the food and the cordial behaviour of the waiter who kept on serving me making sure that I feel contended before leaving the place. The price are reasonable but a little on the higher side in context of the locality of the restaurant.

Authentic Bengali cuisine. Quite pocket friendly and hence suitable for students of IISc and Ramaiah college. If you crave for Bengali dishes, you can always visit this place. It's very crowded most of the times so service is slow. Food is okay but since there is practically no other option for Bengali food, it's the only option in this area. Located outside NIAS, IISc and close to rammaiah, this restaurant is good for Bengali style food on nominal cost. Fish, chicken, egg and vegetable Thali are served. Desserts in the form of sweets are served.

5 stars for egg tadka. For other items 3 star so overall 4 star. You can order food on zomato. Restaurant is located in mathikere. Packaging is not that great but over all can order food for singles and family

I bet you wont get bengali taste so easily here in Bengaluru. I can't Express the happiness after finding out this place. Roy hotel is a nice place adjacent to TATA Institute for having homely Bengali food. The place is clean and nice. The staffs are well behaved. The food is tasty and do justice to the taste of Bengali dishes.

Worst restaurant ever been, staffs has worst attitude, all bengali sweets are made with artificial milk products ex rasgulla is made from panner rather than chenna, Gulab jamun is only maida, misti doi had fungus one time Rice is mixed with soda, I know this all because I slowly observed this place,

Chicken Biryani was excellent, took me to Kolkata for a few minutes. We need to learn to make tasty Biryani with very little spices. The large chicken " chaap" was heavenly indeed. All Kolkata Biryani come with a large boiled potato and full boiled egg. The potato had absorbed the oil and aroma of the whole Biryani making it very tasty. Will come again to try other dishes. Seating places are there for 20 people, mainly frequented by students of Ramaiah college. Parking space is an issue as there are just space for 4 bikes. Avoid taking your car as roads are very narrow and traffic jams are common. Location landmark: next to the Ramaiah hospital/college back gate.

Had an amazing food. I have ordered their Chicken Curry Meal and when i opened found patato in the chicken Curry. Anyone from Bengal and Odisha can relate to, what i want to say.
Also it has potal kosha, dal, sides with rice. 5 star for mee. I was missing my home food thanks for delivering a similar taste.

If you are looking for a Bengoli food then this is the right place to visit, but avoid late nite food. Thank me later

Lovely Bengali food restaurant.price is a bit on the higher side though.love the chicken biriyani, alu bhaja, all fried fish and fish curries, chicken Kosha, khichdi and pulao and beguni (only on special occasions).
sweets like: rasgulla, bonde and many others, must try.daily sabzis like alu jhinga postu, paneer alu are good too.

A small food joint located outside Ramaiah hospital back gate this place serves homely food at decent rates. If you like Bengali style food then this place is sure to delight you. Meals are served everyday and there are also special items which keeps changing daily. Do try out their Biriyani which is available only on weekends.

After walking 1.2km I had reached here. Here I found fully Bangali dishes with Bangali staffs. That's really nice. You can take unlimited rice (No extra charge) with your given dish. My effort couldn't vain. So guys enjoy your Bengali khabar. Have a nice day. Bye

Feeling like eating home made food. Every bengali should come in this restrurent and have a good bengali taste on your tongue.

Expensive, talking in terms of quantity to price ratio. Not that tasty. The place really needs to look after the hygiene.

Student (read destitute's) version of Vojohori Manna. You can get cheap yet good quality bengali dishes.

Location: opposite to the NIAS gate. Gets all the bengali customer's from IISC, NIAS and Ramaiah.

I am visiting this place for a long time. Earlier it used be one of my most favourite place for lunch and dinner. Now both the Food quality and service quality dropped. I could have given a Full Five star rating one year ago, but now, no way. The price compared to quantity and quality is ok. But you have to wait a very long time after ordering. And be prepared to hear something or the other item from your order is not available or out of stock. Communication gap between Kitchen and Front desk is very irritating for such a small place. If you are looking for Bengali style FISH items then you are in. A good place to go in groups and chat and spend some quality time.

This place is exclusively for bengalies. The food is average and cheap. They serves in meal format which includes one main curry (it can be fish/chicken/mutton) and a sabji (every day changes) and dal. They always serve the food with onion and green chilly. Fish items may change depending on the day and availability. But typically 3-4 types of fish curries are available. Depending on what main curry we select the price of the meal may vary from 100-200 rs. You can get rosogolla and mistidoi here. If you are a bengali staying nearby, come and visit the place once.

Authentic Bengali food. Egg curry is costly not worth the price. Moreover Veg Thali at Rs. 70 and separate egg curry at Rs. 50 is bit overpriced. Good food is available. The most irritating factor is that the card swipe machine does not work most of the time though paytm is accepted. Food quality has fallen drastically. Mughlai parota is the worst dish that they prepared. They don't prepared separate aloo dum for it. You might get aloo from egg curry or mutton dish that are available there as a substitute.
