Typical nammoora eatery, Idly, Vade, Dose, Karabath, Kesaribath and Avalakki bath, served fresh and hot. Nothing to complain and a place one can visit often
One of the old authentic eating places of Namma Bengaluru. The idli vade sambar was yummy and spicy.we enjoyed it! Masale Dosae was good too. Gatti chutney is a little sweet. Sambar is unique and spicy! People Please don't compare or rate such wonderful places compared to the recent mushrooming restaurants.
I had masala dosa, kara bath and coffee. I felt the taste was average, no red masala in dosa and the dosa was a little thick so not my liking. But definitely filling, quality was good, prices reasonable and Chettney tasted good. Do visit it for breakfast or evening snack.
Run by an apprentice from the famous Brahmins coffee bar. This place manages to remain crowded throughout They serve regular Darshni fare, soft idlies, similar to Brahmins The USP is their sweetish jaggery laced chutney
Food isn't bad. It's similar to any other darshini in Bangalore. But too much costly. Probably due to they hype by food bloggers and youtubers. Idli Vade was good. Masale dose was avarage. But can you believe both of these dishes costs 50 rupees each! There's no place to even stand. Only few standing tables were there and place was crowded. Arrogant staffs.
A clear avoid. Don't fall for food bloggers/vloggers/reviews hype.
Its been over a decade I have been visiting this place! In JP nagar 2nd Phase, Bangalore, in tiny lane, resides a gem of eatery. After long time, today went with friend of mine.guess what! Nothing has changed and its good. Parking problem is still same.place is not renovated or changed (that's good). Menu and prices haven't changed a bit! If you have covid phobia, dont visit this place as SOPs are nowhere to be seen here.) but if you are craving for yummy, delicious, aromatic breakfast, one of the best places in south Bangalore. Cheers to SNR! Until next visit.
Over priced. Dosa was good, however you get the same anywhere in Bangalore. Nothing extraordinary to charge you 50 bucks for the masala dosa they serve.
Had breakfast for two days. Idli, vada, dosa & kssaribath. Nice neat and clean well maintained place. One of the best in the surrounding area. Bit to costly for standing and eating. Overall taste seems ok.
When I am craving for good Dosa/Hot Idlis, this is my go to place. They give white butter when asked for (extra charge ofcourse) but superbly delicious
Prices are not value for I guess. Go only if you're curious to know what's on the Menu, or you have seen a vlog on this establishment. Roads are narrow and parking is always a concern here. Place is a stone's throwaway from KIA showroom in JP Nagar.
Their Kesari Bath is priced at 25/30 INR for a small bite/scoop. I was certainly shocked.
Before it was awesome for 40 ruppes u used to get 3 layer sandwich but now its 60 and the filling is not at all sufficient I can taste only bread but not the flavor of the filling, and the sandwiches are too hard to bite as it's not moist and they use adulterated butter instead of pure and adulterated mayonnaise
Loved everything that I tried, the vada was super crispy and hot even though it was crowded. Kesari bath and Masala Dosae tasted amazing. Special marks to their chutney!
Enjoyed the Breakfast! Crispy Vara and Crispy Masala Dosa! Strong Filter Coffee! You should be there by 7.15 or 7.30 to grab things faster otherwise it will be crowded later. Quality and Hygeine is good.
Best soft hot idlis topped with butter and crispy vadas. The other must try dishes is the puri which is available only in the evening and the dosas which are crisp on the outside and soft in the inside. The chutney is extremely delicicious and finally at the end don't miss the bisi bisi kaapi (coffee). I travel distances to eat at this place and is one of my favorite and preferred eating joints
A friend of ours told us about this place and oh my god! The vadas were super crispy and fresh. So unlike the vada you get elsewhere. The sambhar is great too. Usually it's sweet and here it was just perfect!
Lovely place. Good on ur stomach and on ur pockets. Their idly and dosa and coffee is a must try and has been a hit with people visiting them regularly for years now. They have maintained their quality and the staff are very courteous.
