Visited gastro dr poornachandra (gastro) and Dr Sham sunder (cardio) for the 1st time for my 95 year old father
I was very happy with the courtesy and helpfulness of support housekeeping staff to assist with wheelchair, the front office staff, the cleanliness of the hospital. And above all the patient drs who listened to the case and advised accordingly.
Blood pathlab was efficient and also the valet services esp mr Chandru.

Lost my grandmother to this hospital. My grandmom was 78 years old, visited for gall stones. They said need to perform surgery. First they performed laparoscopic with 3 holes in stomach. Then they said they have to do open surgery because stone has grown quite big. Simply to make money they performed 2 surgeries while they could have done open surgery in first place.
After all this, a surgery is called success only after patient is able to pass stool and urine after the urinary pipe is removed. My grandmom was not able to pass urine once pipe was removed. We informed several times but we would receive back rude replies as in a government hospital. Their reply would be surgery is success, general doctor should check the issue. We kept waiting for 3 days for doctor to visit.
Three days she suffered like this along with surgery pain. Last day she couldnt eat or drink anything. She was diabetic, knowing that nurse gave her diabetic pills.
Night around 3: 30 am she suffered hypoglycemic attack following she suffered a cardiac arrest. And we lost our grandmother only due to this hospital 's negligence.
Please do not take your old parents to this hospital. There is very little hope they would return back.

I am extremely grateful to Dr Swaroop for saving my uncle's life.

He was diagnosed with Stage IV Cancer in Stomach and we had met many other hospitals in Jaipur and Bangalore and all had told that he is in incurable stage.

But due to a friend's recommendation we met Dr Swaroop and he took a lot of time to first make us realize about the disease and the options we have. He pateintly answered our questions and we felt comfortable.

He did not promise cure, but he did promise that he will apply the best possible strategy.

We went ahead with a combination of chemotherapy and immunotherapy and after a year, the disease has fully gone away confirmed on PET scan twice.

We really liked his approach. He is very strict and straightforward with a no-nonsense approach. At the same time, he is very humble and down to earth and approachable.

Our uncle is the head of our joint family and we are all thankful to Dr Swaroop.

We also have to thank the entire Sagar Hospital staff including nursing team and insurance desk for supporting us always.

This is the worst hospital that I have ever visited in my life. I was just having throat pain and Lil cough So the doctor told us to get blood tests done and based on that, he will give medications because he wanted to make sure it's viral or bacterial. This is the only hospital where they ask us to get blood tests done when you have a cold! Upon that, they charge a huge consultation fee. Visit this hospital only if you want to spend your money limitlessly because they will ask you to get all types of tests done.

Today (22/09/2023) around 7.30 I have visited this hospital due to BP high issue to my friend but the doctor in the emergency section behaved in very bad manner, while talking to her she scrolling her mobile phone and she using some shopping app. This not at all a tolerant behaviour from a doctor.

For the last 2 weeks I had my 6 yrs old son hospitalized with dengue followed by a planned knee replacement surgery for my father, both at Sagar Hospital.

In spite of platelet levels plunging to really low levels, the doctors were continuously monitoring him and were giving us enough confidence and also keeping us updated all the time.extremely caring set of doctors and nurses at the pediatric ICU.
This was followed by a planned knee replacement surgery for my dad who had a history of asthma and also rheumatoid arthritis.while we were aorri3d that all things must go fine,
Dr Chetan Nagaraj was so good, extremely knowledgeable and clear in communication.
He and his team completed a seamless surgery and were so caring both pre and post surgery, throughout our stay. He got discharged today and is doing well.

Would highly recommend this hospital to anyone because it has good infrastructure, knowledgeable doctors, caring support staff and overall a great culture.

Excellent service by the lab technician Mahalingam, Sagar Hospitals, Tilaknagar. Very patient, efficient and sincere! His Time Management skills are praiseworthy!

A great place full of amazing doctors and staff
My mother had been diagnosed with CKD due to HTN and was under dialysis for about 2 years. She was taking treatment under Dr Sanjeev Kumar Hiremat. We decided to go for renal transplantation. We were thoroughly informed and guided about all aspects of the procedure. The Nephro-Urology team consisting Dr Sanjeev Kumar Hiremat (Nephrologist), Dr Arvind C (Nephrologist), Dr Dilip Dhanpal (Transplant Surgeon and Urologist), Dr Nagasubramanyam (Urologist) successfully performed the live kidney transplant recently where my father was the donor. We are eternally grateful for all their efforts and are forever indebted to them

Very good service and care by medical and non-medical staff. All staff made our in-patient stay a very pleasant experience despite going there for a health issue. After all this, overall bill was very reasonable compared with many other leading hospitals. Hospital rooms and open areas are cleaned every now and then. Doctors took good, informed decisions. Since this is a multi-specialty hospital, I recommend this hospital for any kind of health issues.

Sagar hospital ultra sound scanning receptionist is behaving very roudely is not there comman sence all are not educated persons so pls help him to uneducated persons also

Proper care was taken by the staff and nurses. The room was clean and I didn't face any problem.

Worst experience. None of nurses are responsible.bad physiotherapists. Don't even know how to treat the patients

Very disappointed with the reception staff. Had a terrible experience with my COVID testing. The lady who was appointed to take the swab test, "poked" the bud into my nose once and said it's all done!

I had a very bitter experience with the security gaurd at the ICU and the head of the Security (Mr prasanna das and Mr Sandeep) though I brought the issue to their notice, They were very rude and taunted at me for being a medical professional. They are teaching is rules like I never know.and we followed every rule. They lack basic manners.

I rate 5/5 for the obg team. I couldn't have gotten a better obstetrician if I tried. Dr Indira Reddy mam was so supportive and helpful from day 1. Even during the pandemic times she helped us by all means of communication be it online consultation or phone calls. She did not mind one bit when we disturbed her for silliest doubts. She guided us with utmost patience. I had to undergo a emergency C section due to premature rupture of membranes, the care and support I received from Dr. Indira Reddy mam and her team was incredible. Would like to thank them for the same. Would definitely recommend the dynamic doctor to everyone. She is one of the most experienced and one of the best in the field.

However we had a complete opposite reaction regarding the pediatric department. My babies were in the nicu and the information we received when they were there was either minimal to nil or wrong. Though 2D echo was done on 3rd day and we repeatedly kept asking regarding the reports we were informed about the reports only on the 6th day. They took forever for every small thing. When the pediatrician finally advised shift of babies to ward on 6th day in the morning, the nurses took forever because they did not want to receive the babies in their shift. Discharge took hours together. Most of the Nursing staff and receptionist Were a total disaster. 100s of supervisors walk in every morning without knocking or waiting to be called in to ask for reviews but nothing is done according to what they promise. The dietician's kitchen department is absolutely horrible. Doors of the wards donot have a single latch. So if the patient or attender wants to some privacy be it even to nurse or pump breast milk there is none at all.some random person even walked in asking to see the twins. When asked which patient is she looking for she said no no I dont know the patient I just want to see the twins.that's how unsafe the wards are. Overall experience caused a lot of mental distress on us. Absolutely worst care from the team. Being doctors ourselves we expected much better care and response from such a reputed hospital. Imagine our surprise when we later visited a different pediatrician of our choice in a different hospital only to find out half the things including such a long nicu stay was absolutely unnecessarily done. And that the nicu incharge is not a neonatologist at all. Would absolutely not recommend pediatric team of this hospital.
If not for Dr Indira mam and our greatest respect and regards for her we would never step into this hospital

The operation was conducted the very same day of admission after doing the preoperative test etc. The doctors visited the patient regularly during the stay at the hospital. The para medical staff attended the patient very well. The house keeping staff also do thier duties well in time. I appreciate the work of all the staff. The patient got very good treatment during the stay.

Consulted Dr Basavaraju s k ortho, Ultimate treatment. Excellent communication and care. Service is excellent. Since 2015 September 28th 1st surgery done for and I have referred many patients to this sagar and to Dr Basavaraj sir they are all satisfied with doctor treating like friend and explaining about what ever needed.

I am grateful to Dr. Dhanpal and his team in Sagar Hospital. I was completely lost and in lot of pain with my illness. I met many doctors before I met Dr. Dhanpal to find out what is my illness and living each day with so much of pain. No doctors could find solution for my illness.

After meeting Dr. Dhanpal and his team I started knowing about my illness and reason for acute pelvic pain. His treatment worked and I am pain free from past one week. My experience with Dr. Shantala was wonderful. She is friendly, caring, supportive and very kind. She gives plenty of time to explain things very clearly and never rush. She was always been frank in her approach that gave me so much confidence. My husband Srinath is undergone a crainotomy surgery in Sagar hospital tilak nagar due to brain hammerage. It is done by Doctor Manmeet Singh. Before starting the surgery he told me saving the life of the patient is my main moto. If you agree I will do the surgery. He might loose his right side because the problem is focusing on his left side, which can be treated through physiotherpy later.

Same day morning everything went on well. But in the evening it is noticed by him that again there is a bleed. Doctor told the same thing to us & also recommended for one more surgery immediately. We had also agreed without any delay. Everything got over in the midnight successfully.
Later due to many reasons it made him to to be in ICU 50 Days. Those day's Doctor encouraged me to overcome the situation bravely. Daily he use to tell me about positive things. And his team also excellent. We are coming out of everything now. Many thanks to him & his entire team.

I and my family consisting of my wife, My father and Brother in Law were admitted 7-11 Aug for Covid treatment. From the instant I contacted Mr Jagan Sagar, for admission, I was made to feel very comfortable.the attention and promptness with which we were attended to on arrival and admission process was impressive. They took 3 days after that they gave ne wrong result after treatment.without asking me they gave me an injection that was not required also for a small issue they asked me to do many treatment after that they gave wrong information. I was in this hospital at Tilaknagar between 7/5 to 12/5 under the Cardio care department under DR Shyamsundar assisted by Dr Monica. I had a very pleasant experience considering that it was a very peak and challenging Covid second wave time. I must also mention specially w.r. T the department secretariat Ms. Hemalatha who was very efficient right from the day of my admission and till the last day 12/5/21 when I got discharged. Her help in coordinating with insurance dept and billing and discharge as well as ensuring the Lab reports reach me post discharge is all worth appreciating! She was present on 12/5 evening late till i was discharged and all formalities were completed. Good job!

Looting people - charging 1300 for single test. Mahalingam and Mahadev operating this Covid test scam where Mahadev comes home to take sample without any PPE kit or face shield. They promise 2 days but give result after 3 days and not sure if they are even putting the sample for proper testing. As my wife had symptoms tested negative but when she had it tested at another lab she was positive. Mahalingam won't give the bill even after multiple requests. Eventually he gives bill only for 800 rupees and putting 500 in his pockets. Shame on Sagar Hospital for keeping such fraud staff. Mahalingam should be immediately fired from his services.

I came here for covid test at 9am, took token and waited till 2pm (5hours) hours for my turn. Not many people, but very slow staff and they charge you 800. Please go to Jayadeva or any other government hospital. Please don't come here for covid test. Doctors and staff come late and make you wait for long hours.

This hospital money oriented. Only people who have crores of rupees can admit. Hospital enviroment not good. If u have one simple hand pain they will ask us to admit immediately and start scaring us.
After admission within two days your bill would be Rs 80000 and odd.

In one of the case, doctors and staff were not more matured as to what to talk with covid patients and how with attenders. They should know treatment needed for covid patients, if they do not know, before admission they should say no for any treatment. In the middle of treatment if hospital doesnt want to treat patient then that hospital is incapable of treating any covid patient and should avoid taking patients else it is assumed to be working only for money.

Dr. Munireddy is a good and friendly doctor and Even Dr. NIRANJAN is a very polite and good adviser.

Hello Everyone, Being a member of the health care community this is an insider's review. Recently Had my mother in law operated in this hospital. Initially I was sceptical as being a healthcare professional entitles me to (I hope so) as to the facilities, nursing care.in Toto the quality of service vis a vis big renowned chain of hospitals. Seeing n reading reviews (researching?) on web is today's preferred method of selecting/rejecting a service provider. However I was pleasantly surprised by the standards of care provided by the institute. From a great bed to nursing staff ratio to the alacrity with which each querries/problems (not actually the word I would opt for) is attended to by the relevant personnel is appreciable. Typically Doctors are associated with not giving sufficient time to patient or relative's concern; But this time we (my family) was in for a surprise.all querries were answered to the minute points very patiently (however mundane it may be). Particularly Dr Manmit (Neurosurgeon). Wow, what a person. If I would have been in his place. I would have lost my cool several times.but the patience n coolness he shows.does a lot to comfort the relatives. Being a member of the same profession, I know when a doctor is confident of his abilities but not arrogant. Dr Manmit personifies the image of good, kindhearted doctors image who can does no wrong and I am sure he never does.in fact all your worries will go away when you listen to his soothing voice telling you.everything is fine.in his inimitable way with a twinkle in his eye.a ladykiller smile (I have taken a bit of liberty, plz don't mind. Dr. Manmit) and a tilt of his head. One more thing.those who have got their patients treated at any private hospotal.they know the amount of time n energy spent for doing all the tests and getting reports n running from pillars to post to get things done. Friends.this hospital has an angel. The coordinators.ours was named Manjula (I never got her last or is it first name. Sorry maam). Who takes away all your worries in a jiffy.you just have to call her. Applause for the nursing staffs of 3rd floor. Sorry I never got up the courage to ask your name. I have never seen one of you losing her cool or that beatific smile. Finally one word for the attendant (I am not sure of the designation though). He took it upon himself to help my mother in law to the exit point on her discharge, though his duty time was long over and he was in his off duty clothes, eager to brave the bangalore traffic on his way home.

This is the best hospital, very caring and courteous. This was my first time as patient @ Sagar apollo which is in Tilak nagar. Sagar apollo is wonderful - felt very safe and comfortable and in capable hands. Nurses are amazing. I think Sagar apollo Hospital is an excellent place to be.

Consulted Dr Vijay Kumar. It was a pleasant experience how they treat the patient. Staffs were friendly and helpful as well. Overall it was a good experience.

Overall experience was very good. The patients waiting time can be considered for lab services. The hospitality and the care given by doctors and PCS staffs are highly appreciable.satisfied with the treatment protocol and definitely would recommend for others.

My wife mrs.lakshmi underwent non non descent vaginal hysterectomy last week, initially we were very scared about the surgery but dr Indira c Reddy councelled us very well and coordinator ms.nisha convinced us for an surgery in a such a nice way and guided our family to undergo the surgery successfully, my wife is recovered from the surgery and we are very happy with doctor coordinator entire team and Sagar hospital for giving such a good service and I will refer the similar cases to ye hospital from ma family thank you so much.

Neuro.very professional and quick service. Not much waiting time if you go by appointed time, unlike other places. Very helpful staff too. But all this comes at a price! !

I underwent both knees surgery at sagar hospitals Jayanagar recently. Surgery done by Dr. H P C Kincha a renowned orthopaedic surgeon. Excellent service provided by Dr khincha over all we felt very happy FOR the services provided by ortho team

Dr Murali Mohan & team @ Sagar Hospitals Jayanagar has accurately treated my mother's aneurysm. She is absolutely fine, doing good and back to normal. I strongly recommend Dr Murali Mohan and team for all the Brain and Spine related issues.

I underwent routine annual medical checkup at this hospital. I found that staff and lab technicians are very cooperative and patient. Doctors also gave proper advice

5 star for cleanliness. But I would prefer to give 1 star for the behavior of Mr Jayaprakash purchase in charge, why because, he thinks he is supremo than drs who treats patients, if drs prescriptions (prescribed drug) not honored then what is the use.
Hospital name and fame its only because of the quality drs practicing and for the treatment. Rest all are secondary.

It was a good experience. Staff and doctors are extremely cordial. Special thanks to Dr. Ashish K Chand and Dr. Manmeet Singh Chabbra (Neurosurgeons) for making the whole process seamless.

As I went for annual medical check up Reception coordination is good tests are done with minimum time. But echo and ultrasound there was time gap needs to be improved. Doctors OK

We have came for a regular medical check up. The staff nurse and the receptionist made us comfortable and they further guide as to proceed the way for the check up in a gentle manner. Keep the good work going.

We visited Dr. Muralimohan for PLIF surgery prior recommended to my mother. We were pleased with the overall care and attention that she got during her admission. Dr. Muralimohan exhibits good values and ethics in his practice and treats his patients with compassion. She is still recovering from her surgery, so we will post another review but for now would strongly recommend the reader to consider his consultation to your problem.
