Sammy's Nest For Pets

Sammys nest has been out port of call to board our cats ever since we shifted to Bangalore. The facilities are spacious, with enough room for our cats to get some exercise, play around and have their own space when they need a time out. Sajila is fantastic with our pets and her daily updates let us know our furballs are doing well. Would highly recommend Sajila and Sammys nest in case you have cats and need a safe and reliable boarding service.

Sammy’s Nest is truly the best. I kept my babies Hotol & Ginger for 7 days. They were taken care so nicely. Every day I received videos of them.

This is the third time my 2 babies were kept with Sajila. Without any worries we can travel as we know they are in the best hands. Specially want to mention Sangeeta, her caretaker.

One of the best cat crèche in Bangalore. We travel without worrying a bit when our cats are with them. We get timely updates and videos about about them. Our cats are very comfortable with them and the place as well. Highly recommended.

It is always difficult to handle a Ginger. Our pet Pushum is gingerest in behaviour. But she is taken care expertly in this facility. I feel safe to put my pet here as it is visible that all boarders are taken care not only expertly but also with love and personal care. The facility is very clean and convenient for your furry family members.

Sajida has been taking care of casper for over a year when ever I travel. She takes really good care of him and keeps me posted about his activities everyday. The place is hygienic and very well maintained so you don’t have to worry about infections. Definitely would recommend 10/10

We have been leaving our cats with Sajila for the past three years, and trust her with them completely. She eases the transition for them as much as possible, provides us with regular updates, and does her best to keep the cats feeling loved as if they were still home. Sajila is our top preference and the reason we can go on vacation without any worries as cat owners.

I Have visited lot of cat boarding places, i really felt this was the cleanest and coolest place. I had sent my little cat for boarding for a week time and i used to get daily videos from owner. Food bowls are cleaned daily. Seperate litter tubs for every cat. Floors and super clean. Hygiene is maintained with very high standards. Owner is also very cool and humble. Thanks a lot for taking care of my pet.

Will 100% recommend this place to all the fur parents. She took the best possible care for both of my kittens. They were not getting along well at my place but after coming here, they have become best of friends. I used to receive videos with all possible updates everyday. You can leave your cats and be rest assured that they will be taken care of with utmost sincerity. The place was super clean and well organised for all the fur babies to stay together comfortably.

We left our baby Green Cheek Conure at Sammy’s for 12 days and he was looked after very well. Sajila took care of my bird very professionally and with a lot of care. We have boarded our cat twice in Sammy's Nest. They have very spacious cabin and it's clean and they send us daily updates on the end of the day on how our pets are doing.

While the facilities seem decent, there seems to be no professional expertise involved. We had left our cat Kio here for 4 days while we traveled. Kio has a very recent history of seizures (past 2 months) and is on prescribed medication that needs to be fed orally twice a day - crucial to not skip even one administration of this syrup. We have been feeding him this for the past month and a half, and in fact, our domestic help, who has no experience with cats or animal caretaking, was able to feed him after a few tries (she was our initial option but since our cat has to be fed the medicines in the night as well, we opted for boarding). The staff of Sammy’s Nest, a professional boarding place, couldn’t feed these essential medicines to my cat. We got constant updates about how Kio is not taking his medicine and is getting too aggressive, are there tablets, can I mix it in his food, etc. While aggression can happen and I don’t blame the boarding for this (just to clarify, my cat isn’t aggressive by nature, but he’s quite timid and can’t socialise), it’s hardly an excuse for not feeding necessary medication, especially when you believe someone is professional and knowledgeable enough (especially today, with the influx of calming methods that are available) to handle it. We’d provided a syringe for the medicine to be administered. They hadn’t even bothered washing the syringe before returning it to us, and gave it back with fully congealed syrup all over it, (along with my disheveled, dirty cat, btw). Now, I wonder if they even washed it between administrations (if at all) to Kio.

All of this was informed before dropping our cat off.

I understand being passionate about animals and starting a boarding service. But you need to know what you’re doing, especially in challenging cases. It isn’t enough to simply ride the waves of success that healthy, regular cats bring - what do cat parents with cats that have needs do, especially when we trust someone to get the job done? It’s lovely to see positive reviews and that’s great for you, but at the same time, it’s disappointing that mine is not one of them and that Kio will not return here.

It is ‘The best’ boarding space for cats and other small pets. I haven’t come across such a well maintained and, a fully equipped boarding facility. The owner Sajila is a true enthusiast and makes sure everything is top notch. She is an expert in deciphering the cat behaviour and works around their needs and patterns accordingly. I would strongly recommend to try Sammy’s Nest in HSR.

Found this great nest for my cat pet Mau in HSR. I was out of town for good 10 days and Sammy took care of Mau well. Daily updates of pet in form of video.

Excellent place to leave your furbabies at! Sammy takes the best care of cats and shares pictures and videos every day. My cats got sick one time and she even took them to the vet and gave them meds also! I can leave my cats here with peace of mind knowing they'll be taken care of!

I know Sajila from almost 8 years ago when she helped foster orphaned kittens. I got to see her extremely loving, caring and dedicated side towards animals back then. And now when i recently boarded my cat at Sammy's for the very first time, i was blown away by Sajila's planning and operational skills. What an amazing setup, designed so very thoughtfully, keeping cats in mind. The functioning, the cleanliness, and every little detail speaks volumes of just how much effort she puts for the comfort of her boarders. I had a great apprehension to leave my cat out a boarding, but this place has taken that worry out of me. Its an amazing place to leave your cat. Pretty neatly maintained and hygienic. All my worries were alleviated when Sajila sent me the first video to assure my cat was doing fine. I got daily updates on how my cat is doing and that helped me be worry free when I was on vacation!

Hi all I got amazing service from Sammy’s nest for 8 days, they take a good care for my 1.5 year Persian cat. Daily update via videos. Multiple options for foods, huge lag space for cat can walk around. I give five stars for good service for reasonable prices. Me and wife both like the service.

This is the best place where you can leave your bird babies. Ms. Sajila takes care of the birds very nicely. I frequently leave my birds here whenever I have to travel and my birds remain very happily. She keeps the cages and the entire place very neat. My birds get many other bird friends there and they remain very happy there.

We have had used Sajilas help to take care of our three lovely cats in past many times, after we moved overseas we needed someone to take care of our kids while we arrange for them to travel and we couldn’t think of anyone else but Sammy’s nest. The type of personalized care that Sajila provides we knew that kids were in good hands. We highly recommend Sammy’s for any long term boarding solutions we got timely updates and had no issues for any vet/groomers visit that needed to be arranged during the stay. Ultimately big thanks to Sajila to help us execute this big task hassle free we were not worried about kids even once:)

Edit Jan 2023: It's been over a year since I'd started using Sajila's services and she's truly gone above and beyond. I had 2 life-changing events last year, of which one was my wedding, and Sajila came through big time by boarding my pet cat for long term until I was ready to receive my furry friend in my new home. Sajila sent frequent videos of my cat's status and even prepped her to be collected in the early morning for her transfer to my new house. I could rest easy knowing my little friend was in good hands.

Wonderful services for your pets. Their space is big enough for cats to roam around and play as well as extremely hygienic. There's closed but roomy cabins too. Sajila kept us updated about our pet throughout his stay and also sent us videos. They require your cats to be properly vaccinated, checked for fleas/ticks and nails trimmed before boarding so there is no issue of your pets getting any infection or injuries during their stay.

I've been sending my cat here for around 3 years now. My cat is very anxious/aggressive especially with strangers and doesn't like dry food so much. Sajila makes sure she gives wet food instead and checked how often he eats and does literally everything possible to make him more comfortable. Honestly would give 6 stars if that were possible- that's how much I trust this service.

Wonderful pet sitting service by Sajila ma’am from Sammy’s Nest for Pets! My 4 Guinea pigs were comfortable and happy! I had left them under her care for 11 days and she took care of them so well, cleaning after them regularly, shifting them to another cage, feeding them, and sending me video updates every day so I could see how my babies were doing! She was also very accommodating of the late timing that we unexpectedly had to pick them up. Sajila ma’am still follows up with me occasionally to ask how they’re doing and is such a warm, friendly and kind person! Thank you for your service! Highly recommend to everyone!

We were in need of boarding as we were travelling and after reaching out couple of boarding places we landed in Sammy’s nest and am so glad that we landed here. She really took care of our cats and daily status updates via video which really helped us to keep ourselves calm otherwise we will be worried about our pets. My kid stayed there for 23 days. I was leaving her in a boarding for the first time. I was tensed and worried. But after meeting the owner i felt lot better and seeing the setup made my mind calm as I knew she would be safe. I got whatsapp video updates almost everyday night.i saw the progress of my kid in the new place.she was not eating and hiding to cuddling and asking for more food. It’s a great place for cats.owner has good knowledge about cats therefore we can relax. I will definitely keep my kid again here whenever needed

I have been boarding my cat here for over 3 years for various lengths of time from 2 days to a month.that itself speaks for the trust i have on them for proper care, sanitation, good food n a loving environment. My cat baby is pretty difficult to handle, and Sajila does a great job at managing her. Recently she fell sick and Sajila did everything to make sure she gets good medical attention. Would 100% recommend this place

The service provide was not satisfactory my cat wasn’t healthy when i got her back home with the amount charged. Even when I went to pick her the response from the owner was not good as how it was on call or whats app. When I asked if I can see the place she did not allow me to check the place. Since I was not there to drop my cat for boarding, hence I requested but not sure why wasn’t I allowed. Overall I am not happy looking at the condition of my cat hence giving 2 ratings.

I thought you will take the review constructively. Chameli stayed at your place for 16 days, agree she was scared any cat does when they move to a new place but they will be ok after few days. Regarding 4. Point you have been informed the day Chameli came to your boarding. I am surprised that you are saying so here. You did not mentioned about the details that you have mentioned in the 4 point. Anyways I gave rating as per my experiences.

It is a very nice facility for the cats along with many places to climb on and cat trees in every room. My cats were very comfortable living here.

Sammy's nest is a very reliable pet boarding home. The initial worry about leaving our cat, Choco, in another house went away as we got daily video updates about her wellbeing through whatsapp. She was timid at first but began to be comfortable, all thanks the owner's loving and friendly attitude towards her. Definitely recommended if someone is considering cat boarding.

Very happy to keep my cat Pluto here. Earlier, was so skeptical to keep my cat cat at any day boarding but heard positive reviews of this place so I went ahead and left my cat at sammy nest for pets. Pluto got a big enough room of his own with separate food bowl and separate litter box of his own. On his first day Pluto was a bit scared in new place but from second day onwards he was all fine - eating good and using litter box as well. Sajila, the owner was a very caring lady n my cat was friendly with her on its next day only

I have used Sammy's nest for pets twice, for boarding my cockatiel birds, when I'd gone on vacation. Sajila is down to earth, responds fast and you can feel at ease when interacting with her regarding your pets. She listens to your concerns regarding your pets dietary needs and also suggests if any changes are recommended (my birds are solely dependant on seeds diet and refuses any other food). She updates you often with videos on how your pets are doing, and does pay attention to how your pet behaves in the new surroundings. She has pet cockatiels of her own (came to know from her that she'd adopted them), which are kept free in the enclosed balcony.

We boarded our cat Luffy at Sammy's for two days.

This was the first time we had placed Luffy in a boarding. So we were naturally very worried.

Sajila realy put us at ease. Gave us very detailed instructions on what to do and what to expect.

Within a few hours of us leaving Luffy at Sammy's, Sajila sent us a video update of Luffy's accomodation. We got a few more such video updates during Luffy's stay there.

Sajila and her family are animal lovers, she has many cats, rabbits, birds, etc.

The cat boarding is kept very clean and hygienic.

We highly recommend Sammy's for boarding your cat.

Kept my cat for a month. They have 3-4 day induction for your cat so they can be accustomed to other cats at this nest. They also send daily updates and discuss issues if any. My cat did really well here. Will recommend to readers.

I've left my cat here a couple of times now, and im super satisfied with the place. The cats are kept in a clean space and have plenty of space to roam around when let out. You wont have to worry about missing your pet as the owner sends you daily updates along with short videos to show you how well treated they are

They have been taking care of our cat for quite some time now. What I really appreciate is her honesty she'll not sugar coat and tell you what you want to hear. She'll tell you if your cat has been eating or not, using the litter box or not and how social it is. She'll keep you posted via videos and calls. Totally trust her with my cat.

So glad to have found Sajila who cared lovingly for my cat while I had to travel. She kept sending me regular updates and made me carefree to attend to my work. Place is managed well with care for hygiene and health of the pets.

I got my Persian male cat during lockdown and this was the first time after 2 years we were going out for 15 days and I was really stressed about leaving him during this time, I decided to board him in Sammy's Nest for this short time under Sajila's care. She immediately recognized how nervous and anxious I was about leaving him. I kept pestering her initially with lot of questions, but Sajila was patient with me and looked after him with utmost care, everything is very transparent and she was very honest. She sent me videos and photos on daily basis. The place is immaculate and nicely maintained which I saw when I went to pick him up. Thank you Sajila for all your hard work and your tips on how to improve my cat's water intake and yes we will neuter him soon!:)

She knows about pets so well and shares the knowledge. I dropped my guinea pig at her place for the weekend. I was happy to get regular updates. She made sure my guinea pig was happy and well fed. Also shared a lot of do's and don't's about my pet. Definitely recommended.

My experience with Sajila ji was great. She makes sure to give all the details beforehand and keeps the owner updated daily with photos and videos of the cats.
