Sangam Guesthouse

There are not good with customers, tasteless foods and too much waiting for food and they are not well behaved.for money this not good option.

They people rude like wild animal and there not good with service and it's not at best, simply they are waste with everything think twice and go for sangam cafe please i don't prefer this it's my honest opinion

Perfection! Clean, healthy, fresh food. Kind dedicated staff. Simple, inexpensive rooms. So glad I found this little gem.

Good crowd and friendly service. I didn’t stay with them but they have a beautiful garden and I heard the huts are reasonably priced

Room clean and really nice to sleep with the soothing sound of the waves. The hammock on the balcony is a plus.
Staff is helpful and friendly.

Food could be better in general, but the Veg Thali is really delicious.

This is my 3rd time staying at Sangam. As always really like the hospitality, food & peacefulness this place offers. Would be definitely worth for someone wanting to have a peaceful beach side stay.

It was a great experience staying at Sangam. Rooms were good and hospitality is also really good. Most recommended place to stay in gokarna.

Breakfast was good. Lunch was okay. Please give clear instructions on how you would like the food to be made. You might get disappointed if you are not a localite.

Best place in om beach to chill with beer and amazing food for reasonable price. Chicken pepper and chicken chilly are must try.

Sangam cafe and it's staff have been great. They have seen 1000's of travellers and weekend tourist over the year's and have experience to serve and host. It's good for backpackers, couples, families etc. Very few places like these which offer a raw gokarn experience. It's a nice place for anyone who loves to watch the ocean and sunset. Keep it up.

A quaint little accommodation tucked away in the second stretch of Om Beach (this helped a lot in avoiding the usual beach rush on weekends).

Rooms (very well priced) - Gorgeous garden, hammocks, rooms with basic amenities and fairly accessible

Food (great taste and reasonably priced) - Fairly decent spread of food

Service - The highlight of the stay were the GREAT HOST AND STAFF. They really put in the time and effort to make sure we had everything we need and went out of their way to ensure we had no troubles.

OVERALL - A GREAT PLACE TO STAY

We took the room for 2 nights, to visit this property we need to take an off road ride for 2km which will really makes you excited. Then coming to the amenities it has every thing from Good Bed, Table, 2 Chairs, Swing at outside every room, a clean bathroom. Mr. Suresh is the owner of the property and i personally admired him. He doesn't collected single penny as advance. A good hearted man, we can't see this type of people now a days.

The restaurant contains all varieties of dishes. If u need to have a good quantity of food in affordable price then Sangam Cafe at Om Beach will be the right place.

The charge was minimal and worth giving every rupee. Highly recommended place to stay.

Cheap place to stay. Food is gud. Booking is done over call to the owner without any advance amount to be paid.

I have been visiting Gokarna for last 16 years, at least once a year I have stayed at Sangam Café. 16 years back I don’t think there were any other cafes or guesthouses on Om Beach except for Namaste Café. Based on my experience I can say it is a very safe, decently maintained with very very friendly hosts. The property has been built over time and some rooms are older than others. Food is great but not all items like Pizza is available throughout the year. The best part of the place is it is generally devoid from noisy and lousy crowds. You can easily sit in the shack watching the waves for hours. While facilities are basic and you should not expect anything fancy, what Sangam Café truly offers is what Gokarna is all about. Surreal, spiritual and earthly.

I visited here on 21-Dec-2019. I was planning to book a room in Namaste Cafe but due to year end the rooms were all booked. So i decided to go for this, Sangam cafe/guesthouse. The room costed me 800 rupees per night. Clean and tidy rooms. The restaurant was also clean and taste was also good. Staff was very courteous and smiling. Due to change in plans, I wanted the room for the second day too and they gave me the room to stay. View from the restaurant is good. The entire atmosphere is too good. Will visit again and again. Smiling staff, tasty food, good prices, neat rooms! I've spent 3 weeks in Sangam and really loved it. I moved from another place at Om Beach, because it was dirty and I never regretted it.

By far the most beautiful bungalows at om beach.
The bungalows are clean and well maintained and there is a hammock before every bungalow with a beautiful garden view.

Visited most of the place on Om Beach, some are good, others are ok, but Sangam is the best! The staff is really nice, funny and open to everything. The rooms are budget (treat them as such) but they are clean, cozy and just what a simple traveler needs! The garden is an extra add on, with a cool shower and palm trees everywhere. At last but not least, the kitchen is.well you have to try and surely you will love it:) Thank you!

This was the only resort available within our budget because it was new years. And i did not expect much from it but thank god this was the only one available because i absolutely loved it. The environment and the vibes are great. I did notice that we were the only indians in the entire resort. Its totally affordable. A very down to earth closer to nature kind of experience. Not luxurious at all but thats what gokarna is all about, it makes you feel closer to nature. Very simple. One complaint is theres no hot water and its terribly cold during winters. And yea you get to wake up yo the beach and sleep to the sound of waves crashing. Theres also a swing in the sit out.

Good place to stay. Nice location. They have rooms of all categories. We had booked the one with attach bath. The bathroom was well maintained. Note that hot water is not available. But on paying some extra amount you can get a bucket of hot water. The restaurant is just ok. This is one thing there certainly is a scope for improvement. Staff was friendly and cooperative. I recommend this place. They are open until April mid and reopen on vijayadashmi every year.

The beach is georgous and Sangam Guesthouse is perfect for enjoying it! The staff is really nice and helpful and the kitchen has everything for hungry people like me!
I definitely recommend Sangam Guesthouse.

It's maybe missing a small sofa place for the nap:)

PS: Shakes are amazing!
