I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sangam Mess in Bangalore with my friends, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. This authentic Malayali Sadhya restaurant truly transported us to the vibrant culinary world of Kerala.
From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that made us feel right at home. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the Sadhya, a traditional Kerala feast served on a banana leaf. The spread was a gastronomic delight, featuring an array of flavorful and aromatic dishes. The piping hot rice, accompanied by a variety of curries, chutneys, and crisps, offered a tantalizing blend of sweet, spicy, and tangy flavors. The Avial, Sambar, and Kerala-style Thoran were particularly outstanding, and the payasam dessert was a sweet and satisfying finish to our meal.
What set Sangam Mess apart was not only the delicious food but also the authentic presentation and attention to detail. The staff was courteous and attentive, explaining the dishes and ensuring we had a memorable dining experience.
If you're in Bangalore and craving a taste of Kerala, Sangam Mess is a must-visit. It's a culinary journey that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to savor the rich and diverse flavors of Malayali cuisine. My friends and I left with contented hearts and satisfied taste buds, eager to return for another delightful meal.
The was very fantastic and they have a large varieties of kerala cusine options and the food was very good. The staffs are very friendly and their attitude towards the customers is also very nice. The only problem you might face will be the parking. Keeping it a side other all factors gives a perfect kerala food experience in Bangalore.
Excellent place to have Keralam cuisine here. The karimeen fry was great. The absolutely stand out dishes were Prawns mango curry and coconut pudding. The one less star for undercooked chicken biryani which we have to left behind.
Budget friendly mess servers authentic Kerala food. Best place to try Kerala food. The taste is awesome. You will get usual kerala food stuffs like appam dosa puttu chappathi porotta and various veg and non veg curries. Chicken, fish and egg are the options available for non veg. Great Place to Have Homely Kerala Meals with Fresh Sea food. Price is really cheap and the quality of food is really good. It's a must visit place for all Bangalore malayalese.
Awesome place to taste authentic Kerala food. The taste is amazing, most of the items are made by using coconut oil. The price is reasonable and there are enough tables to sit and the ambience is also very nice. The place is most of the time crowed bz the food is good.
Wonderful place for kerala cuisine. Even though it's all housed by Bengalis the taste of authentic keralite cuisine is outstanding. Excellent place for homely family outing.
A goto place for a puttu/appam breakfast, only concern is the chicken/fish curry is not available for breakfast. Have had a pleasant experience everytime that I've dined.
Great place to have kerala authentic foods in bangalore. Specially you get kerala red boiled rice meals which is healthy and tasty with all variety of other dishes. You get enough spaces for seating.
Not sure how their other option on the menu is, however the meals really disappointed, the fish curry is got more water than my water bottle, my plantain leaf was almost over loaded and flooded. Sure, I am not gonna visit that place again. We pay for what we order abd they don't serve it right.
A perfect Kerala style meal/Restaurant. Yummy in my Tummy. With staff from Kerala, the food is just Yumm and not too heavy on the pocket as well. Decent place and hygienic too.
Great Kerala meals, tracked in a corner of Kammanahalli main road, your will definitely going to miss the restaurant. But, ask any one there, they know to guide you. Such is this place, amazing food!
This is one of the places which has kept their quality in these covid times. The spiciness can go up for some dishes. Affordable for everyone, sought for the Kerala meals.
Famous for Kerala authentic dishes. Tired Biryanis chicken and prawns, found distinct in taste. Felt like home food after having with no additional spices added.
The place is always packed. The kerala meals is my favourite here.some of the staff don't care about customer service but others are very accommodating. The biriyani is great and fish and meat are hit and miss.go for the meals
Good Kerala food at an affordable price. Non veg dishes are pretty good. I'll suggest to order or going and having food at this place at afternoon time because you will be served hot hot freshly prepared yummy dishes.
Good place to ve kerala style dishes, it's renovated recently, nt too pricy n taste is good, ordered kappa Biryani and beef fry, and meals all were tasty, value fr money.
The 'erachi fry' and 'erachi kappa-biriyani' are to 'live' for.almost all their dishes are above average and they have kept their standards and quality high up for quite some time. Even the cleanliness inside the restaurant is very high. Thumbs-up for a stellar performance and management of the mess (aka restaurant) really well.
Very worst place to go for dinner. Whatever they serve is chill and nothing is fresh. And from mess perspective i feel its expensive. Not worth the money. Rice is not an option and they don't feel like serving us meals at night telling its not cooked now and try to dump other stuff which is not filling. And worst part is nothing is served hot and nothing has salt or taste in it
Not happy with taste, cost, not worth the money your stomach doesn't gets full but you end up paying more.
Service is good, hard to find parking is difficult but can manage no fear about cops taste is also good no bad review to say about this restaurant don't forget to visit this place
Good Kerala style meals are available. Good sea food cuisine. Hotel follows neat and tidy routine. Overall a very good hotel with good food and other facilities.
Average place for a Kerala cuisine. Located on the vicinity of Kammanahalli shopping road. Went on Sunday for a lunch based on the reviews. Ordered Prawns dey, Beef fry, Kanava fry along with Parotta, Puttu and Aapam with chicken fry. Tastes of the dishes were ok and quantity were less when compared to the prices.
Had the worst experience here today. Ordered for pomfret (avoli) fry. It looked fried from outside but was still fresh in the middle of the fish. Was waiting for a waiter to attend but no one responded. I later informed the staff and they said that I should have informed initially itself. How am I supposed to know when I see it from outside since it was looking fried from outside. They charged 480₹ for the fish fry and reduced just 80₹ which really doesn't make sense. Worst experience in a Kerala mess ever!
Our life saver in Bangalore nowadays. The Kerala foods are really good here and one of the very few places where they serve the traditional meat varieties.
Tried the Kerala meals with fish fry. The meal was very tasty. The fish fry was not freshly made. Otherwise we had good experience. The service was very fast.
Old Food! Informed the management about the above. Changed the plate! But the same thing continues! Was the best once! Todays experience was horrible Beef and chicken was old! Spoiled their brand image As a mallu to have a kerala taste, used to travel there from a distant place. Todays experience would limit me for further visits! Thank You!
You get wide variety of Kerala spl. The place is kind of in a quite atmosphere. Families can visit and the accomodation more than 50+. If you are a beef lover then this is one right place. You get hot and cold water. The people who serving are very friendly. The price are pretty affordable.
Food was delivered on time. But some dishes like pulisseri was smelling very bad. Food was not up to the mark. Most of the dishes from the kerala sadya was not tasty at all. Very disappointed.
All types of meals available. We bought normal rice and chicken biriyani. They packed both in acceptable manner with side dishes too. Extra ordinary service
I'm a mallu and call me biased but this place serves the best Kerala food! It's pocket friendly, reminds me of Kerala and has delicious food that I used to find only at home or when I go to Kerala. It's the a part of the heart of Kerala that's made it's home in kamanahalli.
For the people living in kammanahalli always the best resort for food. The place has grown in the past few years. The food is great and very affordable. Especially for bachelor's.
This place is a must visit. The restaurant serves pocket friendly south Indian kerala style food. It's in the Kammanahalli main rd, 3rd cross near Moriz restaurant. Meals is a good option. Even the biriyani tastes really awesome. You can try seafood too.
