Sankey Tank

I've been going for walks here for ages now. It's not very consistent, tho. But after this place has been done up and new concrete pathways have been laid. It's a blessing for the surrounding area residents to get their morning dose of sun and a beautiful walk around the small water body.

Beautiful place amidst the city. This place has a dedicated multiple space to workout and the 2 different track aound the waterbody to run and walk. It also has kids play area. Outside the park, there are food carts on both the entries and parking plaace for both 2 wheelers and four wheelers

Most relaxing place u can find in bangalore with lovely greenery and birds. Currently it's under renovation but still u can visit the other part of the park and beautiful place for nature lovers.

This place is currently under renovation. But, what's good to know is they have limited the renovation to one side at a time. So, other side is still accessible for public. It's definitely very good place to bring your kids and enjoy time with family. Also, good place for evening walk.

Is a joggers park. Ambience air is much more clean. Clear view of sky. Natural water and huge walking area with nice seating/resting places. Parking outside the park is permitted in slotted areas. Closes down at 6: 30 approximately.

Sankey is good in parts at the end where the crossroads meet there are a few restaurants and coffeeshops. Avoid the place where every one goes without a mask. The Sankey inner road is very nice to walk.

Great place to enjoy time and pass along some time with friends. Only disappoting thing is that in morning around 10clock the entry is not there

Nice place for jogging n yoga, sightseeing options, lake wid ducks, pigeons are there. Good evening n morning option

Lovely tank with 5 Km walking track with kids play at malleswaram side and musical fountain at sadasiva nagar side. Wonder evening and morning time to enjoy. One Should't miss.

This place is very good for peace lovers.sight seeing, evening walk and you can see lots of pigeons over here.there are many chats stall outside

It's very nice along with my son and myself enjoyed lot my son loves the children play area and maintenance also fantastic

Walk way is good and clean.currently though.some road work is going on towards Sadashiv Nagar gate of the Tank.

Wah! What a beautiful panoramic view of the Lake. Well maintained. You must witness the Sunset between 4.30 pm to 5 45pm to visualize the Golden sight of the Sun with its reflection over the Lake called the Sankey Tank. You have to reach the place at Shadasivnagar Gate. See my photos. The birds, Pigeon, Ducks, and Flamingos come nearer to you without any fear. There are also Fountains - a nice view to enjoy with your Kids and Kins. The Police personnel are of immense help for Old people and they help getting them inside and also while going out. They take are of them more than our Family. Big Salute to the Police. At the Gate vendors are selling Corn which are heated by charcoal, and a Sprout vendor giving delicious and healthy prepaatroom. These you can eat at outside only and can't take inside to avoid garbage piling.

A very nice place to spend some peaceful time walking around the lake. Good place for having a break from busy life and enjoying the nature. I think much security can be induced. And is a hot spot for the lovers in the evening time. And a hot spot of pigeons.

After long time I visited any park in Bangalore to have some chit-chat and spend some good times with friends. This was my first visit to this place and surprisingly I found the place is so neat and clean and well maintained. Plenty of seating places were there. Park is good for all ages group.

Perfect place to a jog or walk. The path is bit narrow for jogging plus the too many people for this narrow path. Lake is big and maintained well. You will find Duke and geese in the water.

Very good for morning walk. Beautiful lake with lot of ducks and pigeons. Overall very beautiful place.

Still it have to maintain properly poor lighting in evening, odent smell but still it as a great chance to improve through proper maintenance.

Sankey tank is a good spot to visit with kids and family in the evening. It is well maintained and has many roadside eateries outside selling chaats, ice cream etc. It is also a good place for a brisk walk or a jog.

It's good place for health and fitness and to have good casual time with Ur loved one and family there are all facilities there from tip to toe. Surely everyone should visit their.thank you.

It's a beautiful clean place. Ideal for a morning or evening walk. The authorities are very particular about the cleanliness. Eatables are not allowed inside.

Sankey Tank is one of the most pleasant places in Malleswaram. Get your running shoes on and go for a jog or get your girlfriend to have a nice evening or enjoy the evening with your friends and family. The best place for walking and jogging and you can see a lot of people there for that. You can sit by the water body, feed the hundreds of pigeons, click pictures and have a very nice evening.

Nice place, well maintained. As usual in Bangalore, security staff will be intolerant to DSLR cameras.

Lovely green place but infested with too much of people who yap and make it a place for gossip early in the morning.
