Food was just incredible. Nice flavourful food and range of options to choose from.
Good Portion size as well.

I ordered Gobi Manchurian and I highly recommend it. For breakfast I ordered Masala Dosa, again incredible flavour and good sized potato masala filling.

Veg fried rice for dinner I ate was Also very delicious.

Over-all, 5 for the food.

Rooms were not so decent for the price - 1000 INR. Yhe bed sheet was not clean, bathroom was not rinsed with previous owners sand, etc. The fan was filthy and dirty.
No toiletries provided.
Over-all 3.5 for the rooms.

Rooms are quiet and cozy. Not much amenities, but the view is good.

Cafe is also lowkey good, food and drinks are good, and it is just by the bay.

We went here for breakfast in June and the vibe was good. I'm always down for a sea view meal and so I enjoyed it. The Indian food there is good but they need to work on their sandwich making and plating.

The First thing I want to say is about the path towards the stay. I think the path needs to be improved as it is very difficult to go down and climb up as it feels like kind of trekking with the lugguages. You cannot take your bikes/cars as you need to park at the top where they cost 50rs for one day.
Overall the place is good who loves beach stay also you can sleep near the beach whole night as nobody is going to stop you.
Coming to the prices of the food, they charge more only for Masala dosa it costed 100rs and water bottle 30rs.
Overall if you are looking on a budget stay this is best.

Tried many restaurants at Kudle-Beach, and this one is the best in terms of price and quality.
The waiters seem grumpy / exhausted all time.

A very easily accessible place with great food and great service. The owner of this place is very humble and ready to serve any day or night time. Affordable rooms and great quality food, they really put their top most efforts in fulfilling customer needs. I had a great time during my visit. Great sea view and lots of happy customers.

Pathetic experience. Worst ever service experience one can really have. Rooms were not clean, beds and floors were full of sand. Low ventilation in the rooms. The beds were bunker beds and the cieling fan was placed in such a way that you may find your head chopped off when you wake up.
We asked multiple times to the owner to send someone to clean the floor but noone showed up. We asked for even water bottles but noone provided that either. The bedsheets were used bedsheets and full of sand, the rooms and bathrooms were stinking when we reached.

The behavior of the staff was also not tolerable. For any food or drink their first response was it is not possible or it will take time, and at the end all we got was just stale food. The owner also had a very rude behavior, we asked for a packet of biscuit kept on the table in front of her, but she said, " I cannot give you anything, go away" and she switched off the lights. Food was pathetic, stale, of very bad taste, breads don't know made of what, and chocolate parathas in the name of pancakes. Even though we had booked in advance, when we asked if there are any other rooms available the owner (other reviewers' favorite lakshmi aunty) rudely replied take this room only otherwise there are other people I can give it to.

A terrible place to spend your time in Gokarna and vacation. There are better places (Zostel), which will be a little costlier but worth the stay.

FINAL VERDICT:
BOOK YOUR STAY IN ADVANCE AND DONOT EVER EVER VISIT THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A GOOD TIME IN GOKARNA!

Rooms were unclean and stinking.
There was no ventilation and beds were dirty while we entered the room. We asked the infamous lakshmi aunty to clean the room once we reach, but she didn't and said I will give the room to someone else. We again asked her to send someone to clean the rooms but noone came.
Dining was worst in the cafe, if you want the
view then there are lot better options on the beach with better food and better service.

We had prawns meals and maggi from here.

Awesome place for some good food (homely), Veg thali was great with mild spices. Dosa, Dal fry chapati. Chapati's are maida ones kind-off plain parathas. Freshly prepared food which won't harm your guts.

The host (Lakshmi aunty) is the best feature of this place. She takes care of whatever we need, starting from travel to lodging needs. The rooms are less expensive than some other cafés and comfortable. I'd suggest this place strongly to anyone visiting gokarna. The food here is also better than other cafés.

The family running the place is very kind and loving. The food was the best, the rooms are neat. Had a very nice time. Highly recommended.

It’s all about vibe guys if u really want to sit Infront of beach n chill the moment just go to sea rock café and order a magic lassi that’s it! We stayed here for 4 days and never get bored. Aunty who is the owner of this place is very very helpful and the café is must recommended to one who enjoys the Vibe.

One of the best Shacks in Gokarna for stay, very friendly staff. Neat, clean and budget friendly rooms, shacks and cottages.

Stayed at their shack for a couple of days, the place is decently clean, the staff were cooperative and the prices for the stay was pretty reasonable.
The food we had here too was nice as compared to most other neighbouring shacks i would recommend to give it a try, nothing fancy but decent home-cooked styled food.

Worst food and service that I have ever had in my whole life. The serving boys were smoking all the time and didn't even serve us the right food. The cocktails were more like mocktails. Very understandard food and service and beverage. Never advice to dine in here. The whole vibe is very bad. This is one place in Gokarna that I wouldn't visit again. Ever. Paid so much for such a stupid feast wich tasted like rotten food. And don't even get me started on their breads. It was so cheap like stuff, I couldn't even eat it even if it's free.

Ordered pasta, fish meals, fish thali and prawns tava fry along with Oreo shake, orange juice and lemon juice. Ate all and wanted to sleep over there for atleast an hour. They know what they are doing. Thumbs up!

The most friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Good food, better view and the best service. Strongly recommend staying here if you're travelling on a budget.

It's located on the Kudle beach with nice view but I would say that's it. Food was ok but the hygiene was very poor. There were dead flies in our Maggie, the plates were very unclean and looked ancient, the place was full of flies and tables were very dirty. They are famous for their magic lassi but they have stopped serving it. I would prefer other cafes near by than this as there are plenty on the Beach.

Rooms not clean, washroom not clean, stayed here for one night and had to move to a cleaner place nearby. I got a see severe allergic reaction to dust here

Came here for the food and wasn't disappointed at all. All the items on the menu are reasonably priced and very delicious! Authentic Gokarn food served hot and fresh. The place is a bit unassuming but the bang on beach view makes up for it! Highly recommend.

I read all the beautiful reviews about Sea Rock and visited there with friends today (8.2.2020). And honestly, this is the worst restaurant/ cafe I have ever been to. Not only is the food horrible, the service is unacceptable. Going by the amazing reviews we read, we ordered quite a lot of food and we had a problem with the lemon chicken starter and the white sauce pasta. There was no sauce in the pasta! Which we very politely pointed out to the cook who had a massive blow to the ego and took away most of our Order because apparently at sea rock you cannot complain about bad quality food. You’ve to quietly eat what’s served. The cook took away the drinks we ordered and cancelled our order which is insulting and definitely not the right way to treat tourists! Please don’t be fooled by the reviews here. This place is bad and I request you to stay away from Sea Rock if you do not want to get your vacation mood spoiled.

Food menu is elaborate from continental, Indian, Chinese and Local cuisine, Prices are reasonable. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Right on the beach and you can swim, play Frisbee etc.and enjoy the food and drinks

Apparently they have two sets of rooms, one with poor quality and one with slightly better qualities. We stayed at the one with poor quality, as the other rooms were all occupied and the experience was really really horrible.

The lighting is poor, the beds are not clean and the toilets are very small and disgusting.
There were dirt and sand all over the place, in beds and they didnt even make the bed when we checked in. There were no chairs and the furniture was old and fragile. Also they did not provide any complimentary toileteries, which you have to buy at double the rates of mrp. Not at all satisfactory for the price.

The only thing worth mentioning is the excellent location of the plot. It is really close to the beach. And the food is decent too.

Not recommended to anyone who plans to have a decent stay at Gokarn. If you plan to have a room here, make sure that you enquire them beforehand and specifically opt for the rooms with better amenities. Never ever stay at the substandard rooms.

It's having happening ambiance, exactly opposite to sea and you live it with nice food & drinks.

It's a good hotel on Kudle beach side.

We ordered Chick Roast, it was very nice and yumm.good taste and they also have indoor games to play instead of making their customers to wait. The rates are average.

You can see a lot of foreigners in this place.

Food was not good. It was strictly average. I think the only thing you can come here for is the "special lassi" as recommended by other people. I ordered Nutella pancake, aloo paratha and Dal rice. None of them were good. I would suggest you to go to some other restaurant unless " lassi" is your aim.

Great place. Tourist hub. Good decent food ranging from continental to indian cuisines. Have shacks to stay as guest for tourists.

Good place, you get both kinds of accomodation. Huts plus bunk beds in a 2 floored building.located in middle of Kudle beach.
Only problem their restaurant service is not up to the mark. Location wise no issues.

Good for budget stay, food is good. Dormitories look good but they are not really good for sleeping for the lack of air flow from fan.
Try to take single cottage.

The grilled fish is brilliant. The service is a little slow, but the drinks and the food are great. The special lassi is something you have to try.
