We had an excellent stay at Serene homestay. Great location, good food, amazing hospitality and helpful staff. Choice of activities nearby - we did safari and rafting. Definitely recommended for a great family holiday or weekend getaway.

Had an absolutely wonderful holiday in March. Weather was good, coffee plants in full bloom making the whole place fragrant.

The owner Navya is a real sweetheart and pandered to our every whim. We had to practically beg them not to give us so much food!

Visited in July 2022. Loved staying at Serene Home. Reaching there was bit difficult but it was worth. Rooms were okay. Service was good and Food was awesome. They do have river passing through the property where you can enjoy (kids love it). They do have option to arrange bonfire and food at river. If you want to relax in nature, you would love this place.

We have been going for the last 14 years to Serene homes for New Years, amazing place. Navya and Prakash are such good hosts. Food is delicious and the desserts are to die for. They have renovated and it looks awesome now. There is a water body close by which is a part of the property and afternoon lunch is served there. There are Changing rooms/bathrooms, a Gazebo and all facilities to have a party is provided even by the stream. Some of us do nature walks in the mornings and it is beautiful.

The Homestay is very clean and good for staying. Food is good too. The staffs are friendly. We enjoyed walking in the coffee estate and river side. Totally a nice place to visit and relax.

It was our second visit to Serene Homestay, Navya and her husband are great hosts! They ensure guests are comfortable and well taken care of. Not just the hospitality but the cleanliness of the rooms and entire property is certainly top notch which is hard to find in all homestays. Their staff are extremely welcoming right from the kitchen to housekeeping, shout out to Rani in the kitchen, she'd take every request of ours with a smile.

After all the gaga reviews we stayed there for two nights, as the homestay is in the middle of a coffee plantation with a river flowing back makes an ideal place to visit. The rooms and food are decent makes it a bit over priced.

We had a great experience at Serene Home. We liked the rooms very much. They served home food, which was very tasty and healthy. Service was excellent, we could approach them any time for any services, they delivered the best. I personally liked the private river place very much, and we spent good time over there.
We will surely visit this place again.

Many people have already written enough about this place, so there's hardly anything we can add. The place has to be experienced to be believed. Hospitality was outstanding, so was the food and atmosphere. The abundance of nature, the vastness of the estate and the river are absolutely addictive and would stop you from returning. Prakash and Navya have a keen eye for detail and are assisted by great staff. Food was unbelievably tasty. If you have a large group, they can make a private dining area available. Rooms are beautifully maintained with utmost care. Mild Hot water is always available. We found heavy rainfall during our visit and that made the river even more attractive! They have a covered and well maintained area next to the river where they can arrange bonfire, dance floor and serve dinner. Overall, its one of the best places to spend a holiday with family.

Perfect location in middle of coffee estate, private river stream which was breath taking.
Coming to host of the property, she treats you like a family always checking if your comfortable or do you need anything to make it better. Even the staff very humble.

I would say, see the pictures and it's the same available. Just go for it.

Food for reasonable no complaints ️ but I would suggest add evening tea and snacks with the package.

By far one of the the best home stays in Coorg.
The owners Navya and Prakash take utmost care in ensuring the guest are comfortable. The added advantage to this 40 acre property is the river which flows on the border where you can take a dip and they even serve you a meal or even have a bonfire arranged. All the Safety protocols are followed by the hosts. Very clean, hygienic and good food. Very affordable as well. A must visit when you’re think of spending a weekend just a few hours away from Bangalore.

Looking for a 7 star experience at a reasonable rate contact Serene Home Stay. We were 6 adults, 2 children and one infant wanting a home stay at Coorg. We planned to stay for 2 nights and extended by a day because of the extraaordinary service, awesome food and amazing care by Prakash and Naavya. Built in 1962 the property is very well maintained, 24 hours hot water, warm service, yummy food, customised menu, live stream near their property, loads of games for kids, classy care for infant where we were allowed to cook at their kitchen. We actually wanted to spend more time but had to get back to work. We booked through Vishwanath from Summitters Adventure and he gave us the right choice. Thank you Prakash and Naavya madam for giving us a memorable 2020 holiday.

An excellent home stay for people who want to step away from the noisy city life. We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the place and the food. Super hospitable hosts Ms. Navya and Mr. Prakash are around to make sure you are pampered. Totally recommend this place.

Pure delight of a stay. Wake up to the nature, awash urself in the in-house stream at the end of the property, carry ur vehicle and take pictures and just fall in love with the place and the nature all the while rekindling ur relation with ur loved ones and family n friends. Highly recommended!

Just back from a great holiday at Serene Home Stay, Kutta. We were a group of friends who had traveled to this location for a meet up and were left wanting for more at the end of the trip. The property is nestled in a family run coffee estate and is quite scenic and removed from the hustle and bustle. There are enough things to explore and enjoy within the property and near by surrounding. The accommodation was spacious, clean and well organised. The food fare was very good and homely. The stay was made special by the hospitality extended by the hosts Mr. Prakash and Ms. Navvya. They were very accommodative and went the extra mile to ensure that we had a wonderful time. The staff at the place were very co-operative, attentive to needs and ever obliging. I would highly recommend this place to families and small groups who are looking for a short retreat.

A picturesque homestay smack bang in the middle of a coffee plantation.
The home had 5 rooms which could comfortably house 15-20 people.
It had two open balconies and the hosts provided food and cutlery.
The view from the gallery was enchanting and there was a small river stream not half a km from the home.
Their dog, Spike, is a bundle of energy and really cheers the place up.
No restrictions applied, so have a great weekend with your corporate colleagues or family.

Great place to relax amidst coffee, pepper & arica nut plantations, nestled in the base of rolling hills, that is a great habitat for wildlife. Cozy rooms and the food served was very homely & wholesome. Sincere thanks to Mr. Prakash & Mrs. Navya, for hosting us & our group.

Had a nice two days break here along with my wife. Good hospitality from Navya and Prakash, the owners. Food was excellent and tasty with local delicacies. The room was very clean and comfortable. Nice place to walk around the estate and the small rivulet. Our driver was given free accommodation and food which is really helpful. On the whole excellent experience. Need to comeback again:)
