By mistake I had made an extra deposit of 15,000! And then due to some reasons I had to leave Christ University and therefore leave Serenity hostels as well!
The accounts dept.returned my extra amount back!
There help was much appreciated!

It’s been common nowadays in serenity hostel without water, electricity, Wi-Fi facilities. It’s totally waste paying 18000 monthly. Everyday we r facing any one of these problems. Why is the management like this? Even if we r asking them about this their ans is only about the population of the hostel. The management doesnt wait for a day to come and ask for fees and tell us that u will charge fines and all and can't even provide us with basic facilities regularly.
Please look into your work and management properly it's literally the only reason our parents have even sent us here!

Serenity is in a very convenient location for Christ students. Lot of small restaurants near by. Hostel wise it is good and well managed.
Only I had 2 minor issues.
My daughter lost 2 couriers ordered and delivered to the hostel. When asked the management about the missing courier they are asking not to get it delivered in hostel address. Instead asking the students to collect the delivery from couriers. How this is possible for students who are in college attending classes they can’t even answer the phones, how they come out of the college to collect the courier.
Second when we decided to vacate the hostel at the time of final settlement they didn’t refunded the security deposit amount.
In my case the last instalment was less than regular monthly rent and I paid by mistake regular amount. So I paid 4.5k extra when I asked them to return the amount plus the security deposit amount they gave all kind of excuses and after a 1.5 month long chats with the management I got my cheque.
My question is why they cannot keep a cheque ready so that at the time of people vacate the final settlement and the security deposit can be returned then and there.
When the serenity is accepting online payment why they are not returning the amount also online?

Good care is taken of the hostelites. Regarding the food, if a fruit could be provided with the food, it would be a more wholesome meal.

Serenity totally blew my mind fam! The place is so fresh and clean, and it's like right in the heart of everything. It's the perfect base for exploring and having a lit time.

This hostel is worth every penny! The spacious rooms, all the desirable facilities and tasty food make it a top-notch option in Bangalore. You should really go for it!

Bad reviews are there for all hostels in the area because students are managing business now and they can write how they want but think about the safety of your child and the food they eat. My girl friend stays here and at any day when we are late, I have seen wardens waiting for students and calling them continuously asking where student is.

Its just that, they are concerned. Nothing bad I felt in that. Definitely a best management team and staffs. Good to see them grow over the years.

Over rated, Over priced, less amenities (no washing machines!), arrogant supervisor lady, Internet coverage is poor, food is average, Only plus is near the Christ University back gate!

OMG, I had the sickest time at Serenity! The rooftop view is to die for and the breakfast spread is legit fire, the ultimate spot for making memories and meeting dope peeps.

Absolute lousy ignorant staff with no secure lodging for girls having the boys hostel door to door with the girls, food is stale and the entire system is mismanaged. They lack basic hygiene with bunch of hair piled up in the corners and plastic trays to eat on, the only 'selling point' they claim to have is another lousy unkept swimming pool and gym centre whereas which contains unsafe rusted equipment. The owner is a complete cheat and fraud promising to provide with a refund of 10k if we opt out from the hostel against a payment of 15k but will cheat you and not refund the money. It is impossible for a payment to keep track of their kids at this hostel as no one is available at the reception whenever we call. Save yourself the trouble and spend your money on better pgs in a walking distance.

Serenity is one of the best hostel near Christ university kormangla area. Owner and director of this hostel takes good care of students and is always there to help as and when required. Serenity is safest hostel in this area. Wardens are well trained and humble. Finest vegetarian food is cooked and served to students. 4 times meal. My daughter stayed 5 years in this hostel. I am thankful to all administrative staffs and Director Mr. Shridhar for taking good care of my daughter and giving a homely environment. All the best and keep growing. ️️️️️

Serenity is just 100 metres away from the college back gate.it is the best hostel with excellent food and service. And safest place to stay for the students.

It's good in terms of facilities but the same facility for the long term becomes boring and unusual

Not a single penny worth it. At times there are no electricity, drinking water. Apparently the only hostel here to hve biometric but workers are roaming and making other girls uncomfortable near the swimming area. One night there was no drinking water. Food is not edible. Food plates are not cleaned well and are always oily and too disgusting to eat in. They want fees on time but can’t give facilities. Please refers to students who hve stayed in serenity ask for their opinions. I am sure you will reconsider your decision

My daughter stays here and I am desperate to move her out. It is highly overpriced, provides extremely unhygienic food (cockroaches), and there is no forum to address issues like putting the residents through 1.5 days without power at a time when most of them had mid term exams. They always claim that it's somebody else's fault but all the establishments nearby had power but them. The only thing going for them is the proximity to the back gate of Christ and the security which I will admit is very good.

This place might seem good and stuff but in reality their prices are way too high for a pg and on the top that they take way too much deposit and don't give even a single penny of security deposit even when they are at fault

I am from serenity hostels only but not the kormangla branch, but from Basavanagudi; "serenity hostels for jain University". And my experience is worst. As per accommodation, staying, maintenance, food everything was fine. But the way they created harassment it was just awful. Within a week suddenly they gave notice to vacate the pg, that too without any prior information and in between our academic courses. Maximally all were students from varied parts of country. This type of sudden notice created a hell lot of chaos, panic etc etc. How can they say to vacate the pgs when already we're staying, that too within a short period and also my advance payments were also done. Mainly a person gets mentally stable to his/ her space, again moving away actually creates a great hustle. Finding for new pg, with my preferable accommodable room, packing things, shifting all was just a headache, just disgusting. And I had to do this all in-between my exams. I would better prefer not to go for this pg as no one knows with what notice they may come up within a while. Because the higher authorities of this pg are not at all, not even a bit bothered and concerned about the students and their situations, it's all just blind business of money.

Very very nice place to stay.one of the best place to stay in Near Christ University.its like home. The owner is very nice person.

Pathetic arrangements, money minded, poor rooms and ventilation. Zero safety as anyone can enter hostel.

Security gates are dummy's, lifts don't work, students have to climb 6 floors for food, pool and gym.

Highly Claustrophobic place - Parents pls don't get fooled, there are many in the area cheaper, simple but much better.

All this bad reviews which you saw here is because they are taking care of there students like there kids only, they have few restrictions in all way but i personally prefer this, coz thats what safety and security means to parents.

I just want to say it's an awesome hostels I have imagined before yes I lived in hostels before but after I came to know about serenity. Omg let me tell you guys it is an amazing hostel I have come across with. Starting with food, food is amazing and their staffs also if you want your food to be serve hot then they will serve you the way you want. From morning to till night you will not get the repeated food. Once you taste it you don't feel like you are living outside your home. Also about the facilities they provide like gym, swimming pool and all and room are pretty big. Must check this hostel for living.

Serenity Hostel was good and everyday wardens in the hostel they make sure that we are safe in the hostel. And serenity hostel make sure that students in the hostel feels happy and comfortable.

My son stayed here for 3 years and he just passed out from christ last year from christ university. Trust me the best service any hostel can provide in the area. Initially there were some issues during the lockdown time like everyone have gone through. But i recommend this for christ students for that matter

Stayed here for a year, made a lot of friends. For Safety, they are the best and when I was in trouble with some issues near my hostel, they have taken care and resolved it with ease. Thank you so much sridhar sir and team for this home

Serenity staff, PLEASE STOP STEALING MY THINGS!
in the 8 months i've stayed here, i've "lost" (read: got stolen) from me an expensive watch, earrings, room decorations and much more.whenever i contact anyone from the office for help they say they can't do anything about it.what is the point of providing external safety by means of facial recognition if it's the internal staff getting away with all these? I still would like my things to be returned to me or to be financially compensated for the same, if that's possible ‍️

A very good stay here for 3 yrs.an accommodation and food is good here. Overall a great experience for me. After the renovation the rooms look beautiful. A good pg.

Its a jail not a pg, every student leaves after 1 year. No one is satisfied here.

The food is not good. The room has no ventilation.
A lot of money is spent on laundry as they dont even allow you to hang clothes on terrace.

It seems a good pg in the initial months as they try to flatter the parents nd students coming and once they are full it becomes a jail!

No Maintenance, food becomes worse overtime.

I remember in the last few months of my tenure they stopped the lift as no one could leave due to their one year agreement and it was like a torture!

Great location, well maintained amenities and cozy atmosphere. Place is super clean. Wifi is really good. Kitchen and food facilities are great.

This is best place to stay if you are away from home.everything is available in walking distance and the owner is very kind and helping.

For vegetarians, food is a plus here!
Everything else is normal, you might get even better in other pgs (room, rent)
No washing machine provided.
Fridge, wifi, microwave available.

Maintenance charges are there for working professionals and students both which includes swimming pool and Gym (where most of the equipments are not working as of now)

Overall good

A good gated secure hostels for girls situated just behind the back gate of Christ University / college. The place offers food and lodging on twin sharing, single triple sharing. They have a central kitchen supplying many of their properties and individual kitchen too. The place has a theater, a gymnaesium and a small swimming pool on the top floor. They have wardens and curfew time of 9.30 and 10 pm for all girl inmates. A safe secure environment for children to stay and study, especially convenient for Christ students.

It's a very nice PG in Bengaluru. Well maintained, hygienic and safe paying guest. Well behaved owner with good staff and also with reasonable rent.

They are the biggest fraudsters you will find. They took one year money in advance and even after vacating the room, they didn't pay the money back. It's not only me who has had a bad experience with regards to money, but Serenity Hostels hasn't paid back the deposit money to any of the students. They are a totally money minded and greedy hostel. They will just take money from you and won't bother picking up calls or replying to texts. Full scam.

The only reason people stay in tis hostel is because it's close to the college, but other than that, they have lied about the facilities available in the hostel, and the rooms are like servant quarters.

You will find better hostels which are close to Christ campus, like Axita, Stanza Living etc.

It is a secured place to stay especially for girls. Due to pandemic & lock down their business was affected so they were delayed in paying back the deposit amount. It’s quiet understandable. Facilities also must have affected due to this. Otherwise good, secured and decent place staying for young girls.

They are lagging with the refund of caution deposit and not responding to us, telling lame excuses. Not proper service is provided, customer service is really bad

Stayed here for almost two years.
Staff is impolite.
Fees is too high.
They only care about money and building new buildings.

Do not be fooled by the fake reviews. Most of the five star reviews are posted uncles and aunties in their late thirties and not by college kids so you can judge by that. As someone who has lived there for three years, I can say it's soooo not worth the money. The management is bad, the wardens are super rude and the food is honestly below average. You can find way better hostels or apartments near by. They kept increasing the price every year. I pay 17000 every month but they won't even let your pack the mess food if you're in a hurry, that's how worst they are.

All my friends complained so much, they are strict alright. Parents listen they are strict that’s not just the thing, they don’t allow food to children in their own boxes to college and their room, they will bother your child so much and the child’s gonna run into depression seeing their faces, how the people describe and are stressed.
PEST CONTROL IS YUCK.
And safety is just the curfew which can easily fooled. AND GOD SO EXPENSIVE.
Get a good pg with a mediocre amount of important independence for all your children equally, that is very essential.
WITH GOOD ENVIRONMENT AND STAFF WHO JUST DONT RUN AWAY FROM YOUR ISSUES ONCE THEY GET THE MONEY.

It's a scam. Stayed in Serenity 1 for 2 1/2 years. They shut down the hostels (10,2 and 1) 3 times and asked us to vacate in the middle of the month despite taking the rent. They've pocketed the 36,600 advance as well. The owner is rude and manipulative and sweet talks during admission but has turned his back on his promises. The security cameras don't work and safety is compromised. Not recommended at all.

Deceiving services. Don't provide most of what they offer. Over prices. Unhygienic and cramped. The rooms are small with no ventilation

The service don’t respond in LNG4 (new) building.
No maintenance unless intimated in office. Improper construction in the building, has water leaking from other floors

This is my second year at Serenity and its my biggest mistake ever. Please do not trust any 5 star reviews for this place as they are clearly fake. The food is really repetitive and even upon several complains the so called management here are least bothered. The hostel itself has cockroaches and I have found hair in my food more than once. Trust me when I say that there are many PGs and apartments in the are that are way cheaper and bigger so please do not make the mistake of wasting your money here.

Decent hostel facility for girls near Christ college. Food is ok. Service good. Checked many and got better rate than many other in that area with very small rooms. Serenity rooms are decent size with attached toilets, regular housekeeping, a beauty parlor, a gym and a pool on rooftop. Curfew timings are 9-9: 30 p.m. It's been only a month so wait for more updates.

Good place for hostelites in Bangalore n convenient for parents too.very kind and gentle staff.

Best accomadation place for all category of people. Very good fecilities offered here. Food is yummy and mouth-watering.

They clearly care most about money and not well being, I have lived here for a month to decide it is not worth it. They don't even have water.

Visited the premises recently.

Either the reviews are fake or I went in on a bad day. Either way, I could smell garbage, saw couple of cockroaches and the place certainly lacks cleanliness. Just though I'd put it out there.

I was disappointed because the reviews were good and they spoke well over the phone.

Good cleaned rooms for students and they have good food. Enjoyed my hostel here and had good memories.

It is not worth the rent. Too expensive for small rooms. Food is average. I had many bad experiences here and they didn't even acknowledge my mails.
