I have been having biryani here since I was a kid and it tastes the same whenever I go back

I was surprised for a moment to see this biryani served with salt and black pepper powder, then I tried it and found the taste special. Visit without fail.
The disadvantage here is that the owners have failed to make parking arrangements for motor cars.

Taste s not the same it was in the past, using artificial colour it seems.
I was a huge fan of this from 2005 but now a days not the worth visiting it feels.

It is a self-serving restaurant. One has to try if possible as it is the best restaurant I have ever seen

The food tasted good my suggestion is that it can be better. The service was not the best cause it's a self service restaurant atmosphere is just bad. Just enjoy the food and leave the place nothing fancy.

Legendary establishment serving legendary food. The biryani is worth coming back here again and again a million times. I do not think anybody will be bored of eating biryani here. It is priced right. The new building helps you find a chair and enjoy ones biryani in a relaxed manner. A must visit if you are a non-vegetarian. Good luck!

At present the location has been shifted to a different place which is just behind the earlier place. Food is good and price is reasonable

One of the oldest resturants in Bangalore. Started their business from 1989. Chicken Biriyani was sold at ₹12 at the beginning. On a Sunday you can witness Lakhs of footprint in the restaurant. This culinary serves Chicken Palav and Mutton Palav. At evening you get 2 varieties of starters. The price is unimaginable. A good food served at affordable cost.

No gravy, no curd chutney,
Mutton biryani and chicken biryani both are not good.
Only Rice tastes ok

With perfect weather, cravings for non-veg breakfast just increases. Deciding to taste one of the most famous non veg pulao in Bangalore, I set out to visit SGS NONVEG GUNDU PALAV in Balepet. This enterprise has been around for 33 years serving joy to people. Many people believe that the origin of serving food to customers in donne started here (bangalore).
The menu consists only of Chicken pulao, mutton pulao and plain pulao in the morning and chicken kabab and chicken chatriya in the evening. Here the pulao and the meat is cooked separately. Ordering both chicken and mutton pulao I headed into the first floor to dine-in and taste the goodness. The pulao is garnished with lemon, onion, boiled egg and cucumbers which is altogether served in donne.
The piquant flavour of chilli, ginger and garlic in the masala just made the chicken pulao so tasty. The chicken was perfectly cooked with perfect marination and the chicken was juicy till it's last bit. The most interesting part of this restaurant is the salt and pepper you find on every table which is used to add extra flavours to your pulao and let me tell you… they aren't lying.
The mutton pulao's rice tasted the same, but the meat had its own deep flavours. If you ask me. I liked the chicken pulao over the mutton so much that I went for another plate. I personally recommend you all to visit here.

Donne Biryani was one of the worst taste and chicken not upto the mark, there are no sides etc, they serve and I prefer Better place than that as a foodie ranganatha military hotel KR Market one of the best and finest Biryani sides to munch munch and keep munching the chicken for that masala!

Tasty Biryini & kusaka. They let us Dine in & give parcel too. However, no Swiggy nor Zomato order they entertain. Must Try! It's very popular in the vicinity due to which a huge queue lines up infront of shop as early morning itself. Furthermore, there is suffice space to sit & eat in above floors.

Don't get confused and think about biryani, it's purely pulav and no where related to non veg dive both are cooked and served seperately. You can't feel any taste in chicken and now a days many nati style hotel prepares the same one. Similar to gfc krishnappa concept of cooking style. Not worth

It's hard to find your way to this place, but it's worth your time and travel, moreover, it's not that difficult.
Usually, I don't prefer mutton, in most places I find them not properly cooked or chewing meat fella like chewing bubble gum (rubbery) first pics of mutton melted in the mouth and marinated very well.
They have a simple menu, don't have a variety of items to choose from, you can have mutton or chicken pulao and extra pieces, it's as simple as that.
Pricing is reasonable, has good taste and value for money. Got there on a Sunday morning at 9 am and the place was already packed.

Aroma itself kills your tongue. Next level Pallav we get here. If u not tasted food here. You are wasting your life. Must try both chicken n mutton Pallav. Crazy.

The Chicken Palav is heavenly, must eat it while its steaming hot. 1 Chicken Palav is 120, I'd say its under priced. They open by 8 in the morning and they sell more than 500 plates in less than 2 hours. The pepper salt is magic. Dingy place. Would advise not to take the women there, its always crowded with men.

Lot of oil and masala in the biriyani. Quantity is very less. Govindrao military hotel biriyani is far better than this

One of the best place in bangalore to have chicken and mutton pulav/biryani. Really liked the place, picked some both chicken and mutton biryani as a takeaway. Unlike other places where they have unlimited options on the menu and few of them tasting horribly. This place has a limited menu options and also got to know starters are available in the evening. Yet to try the starters at this place.

Go for it once. It's little overcrowded and the place is also not that big.u won't have place to sit and enjoy and that will be one thing u ll hate about this place. Taste and prices are good.clean and hygiene (remember the location)!

It was quite a task to reach to this small outlet, located in a small crowded small street. Four wheeler is not advisable as parking is nearly impossible. They serve hot, yummy and chicken pulav on a donne. It is one of the best in bengaluru, You have seating facility on the first floor.
It was a great experience having this famous chicken pulav.

PS: most of the times you won't able to find a table, so be prepared to stand and have the food among the crowd

Tasty, hot & crazy biryani centre. Taste makes you to visit the place and have food again & again. However the place is not clean & good enough for family better you get the parcel and enjoy the best biryani in your house.

Vegetable Palav for morning breakfast is most common item on menu, but try this chicken GUNDU palav for breakfast, I am sure you gonna love it.
Be sure while orderinu the general serving size might a bit more for an individual breakfast! Have a look at the quantity served first.
Note: you can also get just the chicken pieces. Where in other places that's not seen.
