1) A great hospital 2 decades ago, is losing its charm now. Please spend on the Ob-Gyn infrastructure, waiting area and washroom, when that's one of your major revenue and goodwill centre. It's scary to see 4 doctors handling 6 patients inside, in a 9*9 cabin. One can only hope and trust the doctors not to interchange the case/meds. 2) Wanted to give 3 stars, but downgraded rating due to Dr. Surabhi. If a paediatrician has this much anger and inability to listen, god help the infants! She does not even glance/doublecheck at the vaccine before administering, just comes and pinches it to the wailing babies.
Money minded You take an appointment with Dr Geetha and you have to consult assistants. If you and your family discuss with Dr Geetha, you will be charged high. The receptionist is so rude. Not organized. You can't even discuss your concerns with the doctor as the room is always full with 5-6 patients. Though you pay a consultation fee, it's worse than a free medical camp. If you have to use wash room, you have to go downstairs. Many a times, there will be no chair to be seated also. Even with an appointment, you have to wait a minimum of 2 hours and you will walk out without satisfaction and full of doubts. Husbands are not allowed to accompany their wives. If you consider visiting here, it's a waste of money and time
I got delivered in the respective hospital, it was very caring by doctors, nurse and aaya's.since 7years am consulting Dr.pramod, he is very caring and genuine to his patients. NOTE: - due to few staff and nurse, the good hospital is getting bad reviews. Yesterday (23/11/2023) my kid discharged, doctor suggested for extra 1day antibiotic injection so went today (24/11/2023), the night duty nurse i think her name is geetha who was working in casuallity today.she is terrible with patients, my kid he is 6yrs old gave injection.she showed her urgency in injection am keeping on telling that he is having pain.but she is least bothered about the patients pain.very rude. NOTE: - the guy in the reception also very rude with the patients.morning I forgot to ask about the injection bill so I asked at the night.when I asked the bill his answer was like DIFFICULT TO SEARCH I CANT GIVE.
As per my experience, if you want normal delivery please go through with this hospital. Good take care about delivery. My baby 3.7kg but its normal delivery. Geeta madum and staff nurse and cleaning department also very clever and intelligent. When delivery time 6 members are handled and I am very happy for your coordinates, thanks and appreciate for your team. In banglore no one hospital is genuine, all are only commercial not service, but i observed your agenda 1st preference for service.
I feel like I'm in govt hospital waiting long hours for our turn. The process is very slow. You will have to wait hours even when your number in queue is below 10
Doctor are very very good but receptionist and manage the patients is worst if u taken appointment for 6 they will send u at 8.15 worst management worst experience waiting time is too much.
Unless you have awful lot of free time don't prefer this hospital for pregnancy. If you take appointment at 10 -11 AM then please take care of your lunch bag too, which is most important thing to note. On what basis they provide appointments or do the check up, even god may not know. Seriously it lacks infrastructure to accommodate pregnancy patients. I don't complain about the doctors or staff, they do pretty decent job. But it lacks management efforts to bring down the waiting time and transparency (atleast token based system).
We had a very worst experience with dr.surabhi.she doesn't have patience to listen whats happened to the patient.as a pediatrician they should have more patience bcz they need to handle newborn, children.totally v had very bad experience.
Had good experience at the place. Felt this is the best hospital for maternity. We have been referred by many people here. Even we have referred one of my friend to this hospital. One thing we suggest is providing condiments like tea or coffee to the patient and attenders. Hospital environment is very best and clean and even silent.
Dr. Priti is so good to consult. She explains the issue well and after receiving just one month treatment I was able to conceive so eaily. I did follow up checkups throughout 9 months. Everything was cool. She is just a magic boon to me. I am yet to deliver shortly
We often go to Shanbhag hospital.but we were shocked that they charged us 1200 for the RTPCR test yesterday (January 18th) when the government fixed rate is only Rs. 800/-. This was not acceptable as it was not collected from home. If they don't have the facility, they should have ideally instructed us to go to a diagnostic centre than taking this as a business opportunity.
Geeta madam is a person I will never forget in my life.mam has helped me from day 1 until my delivery.she has always made sure the patients are treated well and the patient is well informed about everything about their pregnancy.no matter what complications we are in pregnancy mam will make sure we will not have to face it longer with right diagnosis. We had been Consulting Dr. Geetha P Shanbhag, Dr Preethi since my wife was pregnant till the delivery. The overall experience is great. Experienced doctors, Staffs had given their best. At the time of our baby delivery Dr. Geetha P Shanbhag and Dr. Preethi with all other staffs has taken care the mother very well. At the time of an delivery emergency All the Doctors has arrived in no time to the hospital at midnight 12: 30 AM Hats off to their timely decisions and service. Even the billing didn't took much time on the day of discharge. Following to the baby checkups Dr. Shilpa given us her service at it's best. Thank you Shanbhag Hospital for your great service.

The doctor is very patient and provides space for patients to ask any query without hurrying. Answered all the concerns with more than what was required in terms of information and plan. Did not mind to hold other people waiting tot address parenting knowledge. We were so overwhelmed by the care given to us in this hospital, which is our trusted place due to Dr. Pramod Shanbhag & Dr. Geetha Shanbhag.
