I recently stayed at this hotel and I must say it was a fantastic experience! The food at the hotel's restaurant was absolutely delicious.

Excellent service. The food was the best i have had in a long time. Their buffet was fantastic on the weekday and weekend. Service is top notch and so is cleanliness and room upkeep. They are willing to accomodate any request you may have. I have to mention that the “Bangalore View room” had some breath taking views which i shal add in the pictures section. Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

Great experience overall. The food was very good - all the things we ordered were really nice. The chilly chicken or the kung pao chicken or the Hakka noodles. The mango sago was great too. The serve was quick and warm. Seating is comfortable and ample space between tables ensures you don’t feel crowded.

Beautiful Restaurant that lives up to its name. This place serves authentic chinese food and the super courteous staff make you feel at home. We ordered Chicken Chilli which was super crispy and delicious and one of the best appetizers from the Shang Palace menu. It was paired with the ever delicate soulful prawn har gow dim sum. The server recommended wok fried lamb with spring onion and ginger sauce paired with Chicken fried rice which was quite exquisite. Chilled mango cream sago, pomelo in desserts was rich and delicious to end the night.

Excellent service from Najima. Food in all categories was excellent…Chef Mann was always ready to change or alter any meal as per our preference…. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was really soothing and relaxing……. I would highly recommend this place…!

What do I say about Shangri la which literally feels like a home away from home. We decided to throw an impromptu Bachelorette to one of our friends and the way Shang Palace went out of their way to make to make us feel super special can’t be put it in words. A special mention to Naseema for taking care of everything, Benitha for being the perfect hostess and Chef Maan for taking personal care and making the dishes so delicious.

Lovely ambience and great food. When we informed the restaurant about one of my guest's gluten allergy, the chef Maan personally came over and explained the gluten-free options.

Perfect experience! Clean and comfortable environment, warm service and most importantly delicious Chinese food. There are barbecue and hot pot buffet every Saturday, as well as delicious steamed buns and dumplings. The manager and chef also asked if we were satisfied with the taste.love it

Visited the Shang Palace for my brother's birthday. We were kindly received and attended to by Vinutha and Keilyani, who were very friendly and helpful.
The food was excellent, and prepared to our liking. They also provided a complimentary cake, being a last minute request, it was very good. Making it a memorable visit, for a special occasion.

We had lunch at the Chinese restaurant. The so called Virgin hot toddy was just plain hot water with lime n cinnamon stick. The pork chops were absolutely dry. No gravy or any kind of sauce to go with the pork chops. Rest of meal was good

Great place to stay in Bangalore, super friendly staff, and the restaurant B Cafe is lovely too. Quite big and well managed. It is located in one of the nicer places in Bangalore and not too far from the major attractions of the city. Definitely one of the better hotels in town, would love to recommend checking in here. It's quite big as well, and they have great distractions for kids in restaurant with ball pits, bouncy castles, toys, and whatnot. So you can definitely get a minute's worth of peace while you eat. All in all, a great place to stay with friends or family.

The stay was excellent, had a great experience. The staff also respond real quick. Also the presidential suite was amazing and super luxurious. Loved the room as it was super comfy and also the washroom and everything was clean. I just thought there was some weird smell in the hallway and also in the room exactly the bed area. Probably it was the carpet or something and I am sure they'll figure this out and sort it out soon. Overall experience was fabulous.

Staff behav according to your richness. I don't like Shangri- La, Redisson Blue is more better than this in hospitality and staff behaviour.

The place is located near palace grounds, I had been to lunch buffet it has all kinds of meat chicken, fish, sea foods, mutton, beef also, they huge variety of desserts, the staff was friendly and served very well. The place is very hygienic and clean, they maintain all covid protocals, the ambience is good and photogenic. They have parking areas, valet parking, the place is worth a lunch. All the dish were very tasty and I would recommend it to my friends and family

This is been our usual venue for all our business meetings and events conducted by associations. It is Centrally located, Food and ambience is amazing. Unlike any other Star hotels, their food is far more better in taste matching to our Indian Taste buds. Give 5 Star for their hospitality, ambience and food.a must visit place if ur in Bangalore.

Had an amazing stay for 3 nights at Shangri La!

I had put in a few requests before checking in and all my requests were executed diligently. Super hospitable staff, and both the check in and check out process were smooth and hassle free. Special mention - Madhuri at the reception while checking in and Naseem while checking out. The housekeeping staff deserves special thanks.

The staff welcomed us with complimentary chocolates and a cake, which was so delicious.

What can be improved:
- Breakfast variety at B Cafe
- More English channels on TV, especially for people who don't watch Hindi.

The staff at Shangrila were very welcoming and kind. I had been there with three of my friends for a leisure trip. Especially during my check-in a staff named Nidhisha kadri assisted me. To be honest she was very helpful, understanding and had so much of patience in giving attention to details and when I was mentioning my priorities of the suite room which I wanted she noted down and provided me the same which met all my expectations, that gesture of her made me feel that shangrila has got such sweet hospitality. She assisted us in the concierge as well, where she was very responsive and she did her 100% to give us the best service.
My overall experience with the shangrila was awesome and getting accompanied with such helpful, responsive and kind staff it felt like home:)

The hype desk was very good and food was excellent which was prepared by the Chef Minaj and Sudipta from the place was so patient and aware of all the dishes and suggested the best starters and mocktails. Good cleaning/safety measures taken during this pandemic period, felt safe. Lot of options in food as four restaurants offer different style of cuisines.

Check in experience can be improved by informing guests about the room amenities and which view it offers (i specifically asked for garden side room while advance booking but got swimming pool side room and this wasn't informed till the time I actually entered in the room!)

Also while checking out the eligible discount wasn't applied and i had to bring this to notice, then bill was corrected! This was little surprising as hotel was not very busy.

We decided to order food from shangrila and it turned out to be a good decision. The quality, the taste, the packaging all were really nice. The delivery person was impeccably groomed and they followed all protocols. Highly recommended!

Amazing hotel with fantastic team members. Our stay was made memorable by the server who got us a surprise cake after hearing us talk about us celebrating our wedding anniversary. Certainly the best hotel.

The property is nice. We took a suite and the size of the rooms was large. Food is fantastic. All of this would have typically made me give a 5 star but the reason for 1 less star is that the service was not as warm as what we experienced in 4 Seasons and other properties. It's not bad but the extra attention and personalisation was missing.

I came here to dine in b cafe and enjoyed a lot. Mr. Ranju was excellent on recommending food. We like the jhinga tallecherry. He remembered my birthday and called me and wished me. For him only I came to celebrate my birthday. I met Mr. Ajith also who is gem of a person and wished my birthday with surprise gesture. I always love this place.

Visited this place today with my wife. They provided:

- Fresh food

Only sad part was the Chinese pepper corn as it has a very strong after taste.

Amazing restaurant and the ambience set's the mood with soothing Chinese tradition background music. The food is very authentic in terms of giving that Chinese touch right from the beginning all through the end. For that matter, even the jasmine tea served here is really delightful. Momos, chicken varieties and other items all tasted just wonderful. Service is very timely and ensures our comfort. Good for going there with your family or colleagues as a team. Price is little high but it's understandable being in shangri la hotel and the kind of food quality and flavor that makes it up to the price.

I haven't ever been so disappointed from a fine dining restaurant in the past. I had visited this place for the valentine's day celebration and they had a set menu with a glass of champagne for 2 people.

We had particularly asked for a good table but we were seated in the open area which was not that good. The set menu looked interesting but almost all the dishes were disappointing!

The noodles and fried rice were mediocre and weren't even served hot. The waiter served all the starters at once which filled the entire table. The only dishes I liked were the spring rolls and the raspberry compote chocolate dessert

Another option under the umbrella of Shangri-La hotel which raised the bar too high for us as we had amazing experiences at their other restaurants. We choose this on the lovely valentine day as I was quite confident of it. As expected it had an awesome ambience which compliments its class and branding. We pre-booked the place and requested for a nice table but don't know why we were given the table outside as we found the inside sitting way better. Infact the surprising thing was the fact that we were never asked for our preference. We opted for the set menu which I guess they had especially on this day. Although the spread of the menu was huge and filling but to be frank nothing was too striking to meet our high expectations. Most of the stuff were too oily which was lil surprising. Few items specifically didn't impress us at all were the corn and asparagus soup where we couldn't taste asparagus at all, fried rice which was too bland, kimchi salad which wasn't fresh n the fruit salad which was simple cut fruits which we see in a mediocre restaurant as neither it was presented nicely nor the choice of fruits were good. Lastly, another damp on our experience was the service. The guy appeared to be naive and was not able to follow us, also we were struggling to comprehend him. Overall a decent place but not something great!

I stayed in room 1629 and had breakfast in bcafe, excellent food, good house keeping and excellent maintained. I met Director of engineering in lobby to ask about hotel facilities he explained me in details, that was so impressed to me. Once again I want say the hotel is very well maintained looks like new.

Was there to attend a formal event. The ball room on the second floor seemed smaller to a gathering of 500 people. The spill over lobby was too small.

I went to shangrila Bangalore for the 1st time for a confrence. Its a Very beautiful property. Front desk staff was amazing they told me all about the property and also suggested me the different outlets for dinner.very sincere staff specially mentioning front desk team.

When in Bangalore, I would not contemplate staying anywhere else. It is one of the best hotels that I have stayed - and do stay - at. The Shangri-La chain sets very hight standards indeed but this one must be a jewel in its crown: it is a shining example of attention to detail and genuine, discreet, warmth. The staff are attentive to your every need but not in any overbearing, intrusive way. They are simply there when you need them and are happy to help in every and any way. And although it is the human touch that stands out, the facilities too must get a mention: clean, spacious, pristine. As a business traveller, I cannot recommend this hotel too highly.
