I Was admitted for meniscal surgery here … I was very worried about the surgery and hospital stay … but here at Shanthi hospital and research centre everything was so calming … right from the ward boys, nurses to the duty doctors and the referral doctors, everybody did their job so perfectly that much of my tension and stress disappeared before surgery and lots of motivation I got after the procedure on early post op recovery. I underwent an Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopic myomectomy in SHRC. The sugery was done by surgeon Dr. Shilpa GB. The operation was really successful. I really had a wonderful experience in staying in the hospital. From the Day of admission to the date of discharge, the nursing staff's and nannies were really patience enough to handle the patient's with care and love. From the time of admission to discharge they took really good care of me. The atmosphere was calm and quiet. Hospital rooms were very clean and tidy. 5 star can be given for the services done in the SHRC hospital. From the bottom of my heart I Thank all the Doctor's, nurse's and nannies.

Very nice hospitality. Great patient experience. Dr Venkatesh Rathod always dedicates time to patient and explains Pre and Post surgical care thorough information. Mr Shivakumar at front desk and Insurance eased the nerves of the attenders by providing timely updates. He showed great patience especially with the senior citizens. All in all one stop for all surgical needs.

I had a good experience in this hospital trying to solve my health problem. Went to consult Dr. K Lakshman as he is a renowned surgeon. The entire process was neat. He performed a smooth surgery. The follow up by his team Dr. Nishanth was exceptional.
They guide well and really help to recover quickly.

Sense of timing felt wanting, appointment times delayed by over 90 min, no communication or remorse. Not so polite at reception. Attitude needs improvement.

For acute abdominal pain I was admitted to SHRC, Bangalore for treatment at odd hours on 16th Jan. The treatment given by Doctors specially Dr Nishanth and team with staff was most satisfactory Services and advice given by Dr Shashidhar is not forgottable. Hygiene and cleanliness maintained and service rendered is remarkable. I thank Management, Doctors and entire staff for their services.

I had a ACL rupture and Dr. Shashidhar preformed an ACL reconstruction surgery on my left knee. My experience with Dr. Shashidhar was very good. He is such a calm person and answers all your questions with a smile. He is very approachable and his presence removed all the apprehensions I had regarding the surgery. The surgery went really well. When called was told first come first serve from 11am. When visited before time was asked for an appointment. Completed registration for 2 patients and waiting for 90 mins and still counting. Staff have no courtesy to speak about delay and instead make patients wait indefinitely with a common statement “doctor will be here soon”. Such hospitals where no one cares about patient wait time, should never exist. At least speak up and let us go elsewhere if you don’t have a doctor.

Worst hospital and worst experience i had I do not suggest this hospital to anybody. I visited this hospital 20th June 2022 with doubtful scan report which says appendix for doctor advice. (I had left side abdomen pain with no appendix symptoms). Dr. Rajesh assisted to get admission done and Dr lakshman visit in the morning before ctc scan has to be done and blood checkup. I got admitted without any 2nd opinion since my husband was out of station. Night pain killer injection was given evn though if its was not severe pain. Morning after ctc scan report Dr Rajesh who is assistant for Dr lakshman stated that technically report not showing appendix but ctc scan doctor have a word with doctor surgery must be done. I don't wanted to take any risk and I agreed for operation on doctor advice.
After a month of surgery stopped medication I got pain and it's 4 months running I still have same pain which I had before surgery.
My question is why do we visit doctor and how can they be so heartless without appendix they did surgery I lost 1.5 lakh.
Am anemic patient with 7.5 count they did surgery and after surgery also they did other checkup indoscopy and sigmoidoscopy and charged untill the extent at last they said its anemia.

Accounts section are not willing to explain which they charged extra and reception guys doesn't know about the billing and discharge. Finally after so much of argument, no use and end up paying the same amount. They suck your blood and don't have humanity. Don't admit here. 1 rating for this hospital also is utter waste and they are not worth to rate as well. We are ready to pay any amount but should be justicable and should be explained to patient in well manner but here they bill it whatever they want and no one is ready to come and explain and if you delay clearance then they charge another day bed charges without any consent of the patient and you should end up paying the same. BBMP should take severe action against these hospitals. Hospital Management will never pitch in these issues and they will not allow to escalate. Guys don't ever go to this Shanti hospital, no duty doctors inside and more over sisters are duty doctors here with half knowledge. I lost my money and complete money minded hospital. If you don't raise your voice then they will sweep your money without your knowledge. Once again don't take or admit any patient here.

The receptionist here is so pathetic, she always has a grumpy face to answer to any of the queries. Had Worst experience even talking to her. I don't understand how can someone talk so rudely to a patient who is so sick and even finding it difficult to talk.
Everything else at the hospital was good except for the receptionist lady who is going to make u feel bad even in times of ur illness. Also had issues with her not listening to what a person wants to knw regarding the status of the insurance. She just shoos away ppl and tells, u go we will inform.

I went for a test sister and brother assigned are very helpful. The brother who was assigned to me was very helpful. He had taken proper care. Hi all my name is Hrishikesh and I underwent 2 surgeries in the span of 3 years at SHRC. Assessment of the injury and surgery done by Dr Shashidhar was really good. Left leg and left shoulder is now intact. The hospitality by the duty doctor, nurses at the hospital was very kind. Even the insurance process and the guidance provided was seamless. My mother aged about 69 years had a sever knee pain for many years now, a quest to provide a solution to this knee pain, made us to visit Dr. HM Krishna Murthy (Fondly called as Dr. HMK, one of the consultants at SHRC).

Prelim check up revealed that there is knee problem, possible replacement is needed, it was further confirmed by MRI scans that were performed based on the advise of Dr. HMK.

He advised to contact Dr. Rupendu, one of the well-known ortho surgeons in Bangalore, who is also one of the consultants at SHRC.

Based on the internal discussion between Dr. Rupendu and Dr. HMK, it was decided that Total Knee Replacement surgery needs to be performed to release pain for my mother. After fixing the date of the surgery as 20th and 23rd of July2022, we were informed that we will receive a call from SHRC.

4 days before the surgery, we received a call from SHRC admin and admission team (Asha Madam), explaining the process of admission, documents needed, date of admission (19Jul2022), pre-surgery preparation information and insurance details.

3 days into the surgery, received a call from accounts and insurance team, collected all documents online (there was no visit to hospital), they contact TPA and received pre-approval, in each step I was constantly informed of the progress and further steps.

In the day if admission, the process was super smooth, which took about 10mins, we were taken to the alloted room (I am not using the word ward here for a specific reason). The room was like 3 or 4 star hotel room. It was crystal clean, well ventilated, well lit. Bathroom was designed to provided maximum safety and comfort to the patient. During our 6 days stay there at SHRC, the room must have been cleaned atleast 15. Every day after the cleaning, Quality Check team use to come and inspect the room and they use to collect the feedback from patients attendents.

Previous night before surgery, both Dr. HMK and Dr. Rupendu visited my mother provided details of the surgery how she can prepare herself mentally. How they plan to take care of her during and after surgery.

20th and 23rd surgery days was mostly event free, where post surgery my mother was kept in Icu/recovery room for close to 4 hours for recovery and constant observation, after that she was transferred to allotted room.

Post Surgery Pain and it management was clearly discussed with us so that we knew what we are getting at SHRC.
My mother had mostly pain-free post surgery experience.

The nursing and support team are doing excellent job, like Siddamma, Mary, Tulasi and Gangamma.

The process of discharge was smooth.
On 26th evening, my mom was able to walk all the way from her room to car with the help of a walker.
All thanks to wonderful team of Doctors, Nurses, Support, Facilities for helping my mother.

Now she is going through physio with Dr. Sunil. Soon she will have her new freedom.

I was here for my knee operation, right from admission till discharge the services provided are 5 star.

The Doctors, OT team, mainly nursing staff and other hygiene keepers are on their toes to take care of patients. During my stay here could not hear any buzzer sound from the inpatient.

I wish the hospital should open a similar facility in all others areas too.

Very happy with the services provided. I had a minor surgery and I was given utmost post-operative care.

Hygiene is well maintained.

They have a good team of doctors, nurses and also other staffs at the Reception, Insurance department etc.

Clean we'll equipped hospital, kind courteous staff. Nurses,
housekeeping even the security are all very well spoken, presentable and treat you with utmost kindness. In tough situations these things matter a lot and it's a pleasant surprise to have this sort of positivity.
As for the medical aspect of things. Dr. Gautham is a thorough professional and is really good at what he does. I called him on am emergency and he made himself available and explained the process to us which went exactly as he described. He took care of things and made it all seem so effortless. Truly a commendable professional and most importantly a trust worthy one at that.

My mother visited the hospital at 9.30 complaining severe vomiting and dehydration and tiredness. The duty doctor over there who is serving in that hospital close 3-4 yrs for now is so negligent towards patients. He has given the below prescription saying everything is ok. We requested for medicines and he has given Provic tablet when asked in Pharmacy they said its for blood thinning and not available.why should a a patient who is suffering from vomiting, dehydration should take blood thinning tablet. He speaks to Nurses over and does not talk to patient. I am writing this review with really pain as how these doctors can be so bad. When aged people come they dont even respect, will they do the same for their family members? They have taken 500rs for this prescription. By taking money also if they cannot give good treatment why should we go to private hospitals and what's the difference between private and government hospital. Doctors, if you are not service minded, please don't get into this field. I wouldnt say all are same, there are other doctors in same hospital Ravi Kaushik who comes as a consultant an excellent doctor for ENT, Sanjay again an excellent doctor for pediatrics and Raj Gopal an aged doctor but fantastic person. We had the similar experience with Lakshman as well, he is Gastro Surgeon and says he sees gastric related only to stomach and speaks very rude. As this hospital is close by, we go there for all services but some doctors as mentioned are really not eligible to be there. I have attached prescription for reference too. I have take time to write this review after two painful instances. Hope the concerned team reviews and takes appropriate action.

Had a very good experience meeting the Ortho doctor. Very clean and well maintained hospital. Usually not very crowded. Front office could be a little more organized.

Charged Rs 450 for dressing, horrible hospital. Nurse Pallavi did 1 minute job and took 450 rupees. Front desk person Manju dint help. Hospital is fleecing innocent, middle class people. Visit this hospital only if you are ready to get fleeced.

They called and confirmed about my vaccination appointment along with the time. Me and my husband left all our meetings and travelled for 15km just for that, as we had the confirmation. When we went there, they made us wait for 1.5 hours after which we were told that they are not ready to open a new set of vaccines for us.they could have kept track of number of people for vaccination.when we were waiting they are calling out people for vaccine. Not sure in what way they are organised. Instead of vaccination we had a meeting with a supervisor and manager trying to send us out with the blame that we are educated and we have to understand.
We are educated and that's why we took appointment, waited for 1.5 hours and then listened to him and came back without vaccination.

Don't use fancy terms like "Educated" and play with our time

Worst hospital only good in cleanliness. Dont ever go to this hospital. Very high they charge. 800 for consultation. Doctor do not suggest diet. Icu charge is so high on top of it they charge for administration also. Be very careful with Accounts people.

My wife got admitted on 22nd Nov 20 for a day Care treatment based on doctor reference and cost of the treatment was told initially was 30k and post operation they charged 40k without any complications nor any deviation in the treatment. Horrible experience with attendant staff. They talk to patients like criminals. Dr. Sanjay Gururaj is very good but then overall experience of visiting this hospital is pathetic, disgusting.never ever recommended SHRC! Pls visit only if you are ready to fight with attendant people.

Previously it was how I don't know. But because of lockdown they doubled the consultation. Physicians are very busy. They will not listen patients problem. They just go through the reports and prescribe the medicine. So if we will get more health issues within week, they will ask why repeatedly coming to hospital, continue the medicine till it close. Because they don't get consultation. Duty octord, one lady is there I don't know her name. She don't know how to speak with patients. Only security people are good, atleast they know the problem of patients. I can give 5 stars to only security people. Not doctors.becauae they don't know how to diagnose decease

Absolutely avoid this place, particularly Orthopaedician Dr Ravi Shankar. He is uncommunicative and irresponsible. He has no respect for patients' time, refuses to take calls and in just 9 days (May 25 to June 3rd), he hiked his consultation fee from 500 to 1100. That's right, 1100. The concept of a free follow-up visit does not exist.

My suggestion: Avoid SHRC of you can.

Hospital is good but the reception and the billing is really pathetic. We had to wait for more than 3 hours after the Doctor advised for discharge. When enquired provided lame excuses like the software is changed and there is discrepancies in the bills etc.

The patient is literally waiting to go back but it will only we possible if the billing is done.

Lets see when the wait gets over.

Happen to see tag line that hospital is advertising and thought of sharing my own experience. My wife delivered through c-section in this hospital and picked up breast infection in few days Sr.doctor decided to remove infection through surgery, we got the operation done now with in 3 days of discharge the operated area swelled up with redness basically infection still persisted in the lump. I struggled to any attention for her right from paramedical staff to the Doctor, he was rude enough in telling me re-infection can happen after surgery in 3 days and if she is having Chiils give her Dolo and presribed an antibiotic that I was unable to locate in many shops. I left the place and went Apollo and they scanned just to find sever infection in the breast, they cured in a month long treatment through IV antibiotics with very powerful dosages. We saved her.
This was a case to proceed but had no time to purse further. It's been 7 years but these are some hard memories. I think hospital needs to make doctors accountable for what they do and how they behave with patients as it's all business in the end else we will go to stand in queue in a government hospital)

Staffs are too rude they do that have patients to listen what we are saying. Or asking to them special few nurse speak rude has if they are serving free to us, no politeness.

Worst hospital and management. Dr. Nalini is doctor or medical store owner i dont know. Unnecessarily tests without treatment. Today i have visited and i have paid Rs. 4000+medicine fees. She preferred Dolo650. Atleast she dont have minimum common sense that dolo650 is the general madicine, after dolo and crocin only people are coming to hospital. Please management will better to terminate her from hospital. Worst experience, so i wont give single star also

Starting from pre-hospitalization till regular check-up after discharge, the service was awesome. Every staff person were friendly and helpful. A well organized system. Finally Dr. Ravi Shankar is the best orthopedic in the city, no doubt about it. Thank you Shanti Hospital, you guys are excellent:)

Cosy place, good atmosphere, nice nursing personals are well trained, calm person's and taken well care of the patient, surgical and medicine feslity is good, canteen feslity is good and for the patients nutritional part is take care, service mind persons, nice trained persons at the desk, nice information they advicev

Terrible administration but a decent doctor!
We were called in at 10.30 am and there was no sign of the doctor until 11am. I checked and got to know that all the people who had come to visit that particular doctor were given an appointment for 10.30am! I mean, thats really pathetic to think that a hospital that looks so decent and upscale does not have a proper scheduling system. The doctor walked in at around 10.45 and went on rounds and came back only half an hour later. The doctor started seeing patients at around 11.15 and I noticed people who had come in later were being allowed for consultation. I asked the reception and she went through the list of "scheduled" patients, her eye brows raised a bit and then she hurriedly went into the consultation room for about 5 mins. She came out letting me know that we were next. Am sure for some reason, we were not on the initial list! They charge 600 for a consultation (am ok with that) but definitely not ok with a ton of the staff crowding around reception and not knowing how to schedule patients. If they know that the doctor will be able to see patients only after 11 / 11.15, thats the time they should ask patients to come as well. As for us, it was over a 1.5 hour wait before we we were ushered in to see the doctor at 12. Very good doctor and hence some rating to the hospital overall but pathetic administration process! Note that am only talking about the process but the staff is polite to speak with. Hope they get some consultant to get their processes in order and am sure its a lovely little hospital, once again!

Nursing service is good and well experienced.
Problem is with billing and insurance section.
They will charge you double rates than in the market with same services. No value for money, may charge you higher and till final billing you will not know why they have charged you so much.

The cleanliness and the infrastructure is what brought us to this hospital.

Almost 30 percent of the bill was forcibly paid by cash though it could be in our cashless limit. The admin says it is because of some tie up and can't provide the complete cashless facility. This is a heavy loss for the patients. Many other hospitals don't work this way.
The bills include many items that were returned back to the pharmacy and also items which was never used by the patient.despite the follow up, they never got back. Horrible ethics! When they know we have an insurance we are billed unnecessary items. Blood sugar tests are charged double when we have insurance and i was charged for a blood test that was not done for me.

Some of the night nurses lack experience. They do not know what needs to be done and are quite careless.

After the disappointing experience. I would think twice to refer any one to this hospital.

Overall it is a international level hospital with good infrastructure and staff, but be prepared to open up your purse. It is expensive.

Very calm and serene location in residential area of Jayanagar.
Superb world class infrastructure.
Good set of doctors.
Very experienced nursing and janitorial staff.
Small hospital so individual attention is given.

Cons:
No transparency in billing, all charges are under single head called package.
Some unused items were returned by nurse but still billed.
