Shathayu Ayurveda Clinic

This is the worst and pathetic massage experience I have ever had in my life so far.
I booked Abhyanga massage for morning 07: 30 slot on a Sunday. When I reached the lady at reception (who was also going to be my masseuse) had language issue. She could only understand Kannada and no other language. While I started my enquiries, hardly anything was clearly understood and answered but wanted money to be paid first no matter what! Next somehow we moved to the massage room and I wanted to use the washroom. The washroom didnot had flush working and the masseuse is asking me to use “jet spray” for toilet. I am explaining her how illogical it is to ask someone to use jet spray instead of flush when both serve different purpose! But no use! At the end I had to ask her to call someone who atleast understands English. She called another lady named “Tasmiye”. She kept on apologising but my sunday morning had already spoiled. Further while I was under the service, time and again the masseuse is taking up customer calls, responding to the notification and also leaving the room unattended and going outside to open the main door whenever the doorbell ranged. Now this was my breaking point. The customer lying down on the bed is not a fool. Has come to get some mental peace and physical relaxation and not to keep hearing the calls and mobile beeps. How can the person who is giving therapy is also working as a receptionist? If this is how you would like to work then donot take up morning slots!
My experience doesnot end here.
Next for bathing, i could see the bathroom had a jacuzzi kind of bathtub. I finally felt I could enjoy some luxury for the money i paid but no! Guess what, for my bath she had put a stool inside the bathtub and gave me bucket filled with warm water and asked me to sit inside the bathtub and use bucket and mug! Horrible! Again upon questioning, I was told that the hot water tap in bathtub doesnot work therefore this arrangement! When your flush doesnot work, taps of bathtub don’t work, you cannot understand the basic enquiries (which I am sure is not limited by Language because the questions I asked would be usually asked to them and by the use of "common sense" anybody can answer in broken English or by indications) then why ask for high money.
And money was already paid so its the customers loss anyway. They don't care! Their pockets are full!
Please donot visit this place. My sunday morning mood was absolutely ruined and money wasted! The massage experience did not help me mentally or physically instead I ended up in much stress and irritation.
If you don't care about customer satisfaction, don't open money making centres at the cost of their peace!

I found this place when I was looking for a good ayurvedic treatments for rejuvenation they did serve the requirement very happy to get these therapies here. I would really recommend this place someone who is looking for a nice weekend rejuvenation

One of the best places to go for pure natural ayurveduc services. The koramangala branch is the one I have been going to for the last few years.

Quite, calm, peaceful and authentic. People are humble and know their skill sets very well. Highly recommended. Have tried all the massages and facials over time. All are worth experiencing.

The service of Swarna Kanti was amazing. A nice 90 minute massage which consists of oil massage and a lovely body scrub (moong daal and turmeric) which they make fresh in the kitchen.
The experiences are magical and take you back to ancient methods of beauty and self care of the body that is the temple.
My two massage therapist Jyothi and Ashwini were amazing. Healing hands and blessed souls.

I have been to Shathayu Koramangala many times and continuing there just because of their cleanliness and classical way of handling the needs of people. Polite and Friendly staff that makes us to feel free.

2 years ago when this branch was opposite NGV, the service, the doctor, the masseurs and the treatment was beyond excellent.

Once this branch was shifted behind to where is it currently, the quality and service deteriorated.
One time, the house keeping lady was sweeping the floor during the session.
Another time, even though there were 3 more sessions pending (marked in the patient record), the doctor said it is your last session all your sessions are over.
The receptionist attitude is very arrogant.

Despite paying big money, this is the service provided.
Also, the quality of treatments is not like how it was previously. Too many novices on the job and too much of politics among themselves.

Think twice before paying your money, because till you pay the money, its all smiles and once the payment is done, its who are you.

The staff is very polite and friendly. But I expect more for this price.
The massage felt like a ton of oil applying and less working on the muscles.
These people don't know anything about the human anatomy and muscles. They just know how to douse you with oil.
Also terrible hygiene, they used the same towel to wipe my feet and then used it on my body.

I would.not go here for a massage. Maybe they know better about ayurvedic treatment, but definitely they lack knowledge about massage
