Sherlock's Pub Kammanahalli

Music was too loud and shrill. We had to rush out after sometime as it got unbearable inside

After a recent visit to Sherlock's Pub in Bangalore, I have mixed feelings, and I'm giving it 2 stars for several reasons.

First, the food was quite mediocre, and considering it's a pub, I expected better.
Second, the alcohol prices were exorbitant. Additionally, I was disappointed to find that almost all the beers I wanted were out of stock.

The most frustrating part of the evening was the inconsistent rules about seating. We were told we couldn't go to the 3rd floor, but there were only a handful of people up there, and they appeared to be stag guests. The 4th floor was also restricted to couples. It's puzzling why these seemingly arbitrary rules were in place when the entire pub had less than 10 patrons on a Sunday night. It's unfortunate that it felt like people were being judged based on their appearance rather than creating an inclusive and enjoyable atmosphere.

However, the one shining light in this experience was the exceptional service provided by our server. They were attentive, friendly, and truly made an effort to enhance our experience. Unfortunately, this positive aspect alone couldn't overshadow the overall disappointing aspects of the pub.

The worst I have reserved and it has been a religions preferred than the customer service.please do not.reserve unless you have a friends in Sherlock's otherwise it is a waste of time and visit as well

We had booked the venue for a birthday party.
They had promised us 80% of the terrace and eventually sequestered off half of it for walk ins.

The real bummer was the service and the food. Asking for a simple red bull with vodka would take 15 mins, and that's when we had the place booked. After a while it started feeling like they were deliberately delaying stuff to save on liquor costs.

The quality of food was also a let down. The pasta was kind of ok, but the chicken starters were very basic.

Rating this two stars.

Very dirty especially their restroom was pathetic. Not at all a hygienic place. Long time to serve food

The pub is good and the food is ok.
Parking is very limited.
Prices are also a bit high.

Personally i doesn’t like it.
- they 2 fooors
- one for couples with dj (only edm music not Bollywood songs) - suffocation can happen bcz its close not ventilation all smoke there only
- second floor for singles, this ja fine if came with friends its 1/4 open so you can get good breeze

Service is not that great and they ask customers to pay the service charges. Food is good and ambience is ok. Had a bad experience.

Located at a prime place in kamanahalli, this pub has crazy views from the top. The food we ordered were chicken wings, which was good, crispy corn wasn't crispy, egg chilly was amazing, oriental chicken was yumm. I feel the kulcha was thick, pepper chicken curry was yum.pizza was yumm. Good ambience and service.

Sherlocks Pub Kammanahalli, the view here is very attractive, it is the best and beautiful bar in North India, which is famous for its excellent service, you can have a lot of fun here with friends, the view here attracts you more and more. Shakun meets Bangalore, this is a famous bar which is famous all over India.

Best on Thursdays ladies night,
Its the crowd which makes Sherlocks click
Decent food, not pricey

Good ambient in the pub, specially if you go to roof top.
And not much varieties in the food as of now, they are getting back from lockdown gradually.

They should start playing Bollywood songs,
Chicken wings and butter garlic prawns are must

The food was not great at all. It was bland. The pizzas is not worth mentioning. The cheese didn't taste right.

Too loud music, you can't have a basic conversation. Food is good and beer is not watered down. Go here only if other pubs are full

I kinda like this place with great service nd food quality is good. Has a good ambience best for a day out or night out with friends, with a good taste in music everyone wants to groove in.

It's not good. Very small place. And we ordered a pitcher of long Island ice tea which was mostly water.

A nice place to unwind. With seating available indoors and outdoors customers have a choice. The outdoor atmosphere is on the rooftop and gives you a good view of the city, there are projectors to watch matches etc, and one can enjoy a good drink if the wether permits. The staff are very friendly. Especially Sajan our waiter went out of his way to ensure we got certain drinks that were unavailable, the snacks were served hot and he was always readily available. His attitude will mk one want to go bk to Sherlock's. Management pls note. Parking is available. And the place can be easily noticed in traffic. Good location, great ambience, super service, good booze and snacks. What else can one ask for.

This was my first visit to this place. The place is good with very good staff. The service was good as well. The food was good the cocktails could have been better.
We were a bunch of 3 girls and we wanted to have a girls night out. But the crowd there seemed very interested to see the 3 ladies. I'm giving a 3 star due to the crowd. There were different kind of people some nice gentleman who came to us and offered to buy us a drink whom we thanked and didn't entertain, some nasty looking people who kept letching at you standing at the bar counter and smiling, or those who had come with someone but we're more keen to keep staring at other women the whole time.
The music was good and they do have a dance floor too.
Overall a OK OK experience due to the crowd

Good staff and average food menu.this place is mainly filled with bunch of old folks who are always present there and blocking the pool table!: -P

Food is very expensive, very loud music,
Good only if you are in a group and want to hit the dance floor with the music beats

Food - less than average but a little bit better than offiice cafeteria food.
Service problem -
Too hot, no ventilation unless you go to the roof top. They didn't turn on the fan even after multiple requests. When we switched to at take which had fab they objected and forced us back sating that it is reserved. No one came to that table to we left that place. We were 6.

Nice place for a group. Food tastes excellent. Limited options in liquor. Cud do better in adding more options n seating arrangement.

Great place for fun with friends. I recommend this place for group. The food here is really tasty and also it is very reasonable on pocket.

If you go here do not really expect Baker Street kind of experience but it is a good place for food, gathering and drinks with bunch of friends

Pretty silent for a sunday evening, decent crowd, decent food, variety to choose from.good option for a lazy sunday evening if you have the right company.they have an amazing view roof top if you dont like a small packed place to chill out.pick a game weekend and the right comonay.and you'll quitely tuck away a part of memory which you wont regret revisiting.the only downside walking all the way up because the elevator was under maintenance

P. S its a challenge walking down drunk as well.if you plan on rolling down you'll be fine reaching down in no time.: P

The staff were very rude and they want to take only money and robbery is also their from staff don't go with any valuable things they will note it and Rob it.

It's a gunda pub.

The best pub in Bangalore. Don’t forget to taste there Belgian Wheat Beer, that is better than the beer you get in Belgium.
Also instead of going all the way to Germany for Oktoberfest, drive down to this pub the have better drinks and ambience.
One of the best in India. The brew is fantastic. First order samples and choose what suits your taste. Go for low alcohol beer that is less than 5% to get the best taste. You can take your entire family along with old parents to this place. Ladies can safely visit this place alone to enjoy a drink. Nobody will trouble you. Lonely hearts can also visit this place to pick up good company to enjoy the drink. The possibilities are endless. One never knows, you can get your life partner here, with whom you can grow old together, drinking the brew at the same table. There are many stories on how people found like minded beerloving partners. This is the best place in Bangalore to find your soulmate. The staff who serve you are prompt, polite and professional.

Had a great New year Eve there.just no idea how 5 hours passed over there.can improve few things.beer can be a mug instead of small bottle.

Perfect place to hang out with friends and family. It has a private roof top garden for any small function that you may want to have. They serve all varietiesof alcohol and food and dishes are yummy. Price is mediocre. The ambience is good. Has a small dance floor. The DJ is good. Friendly bouncers:). Has pool table. Smoking is allowed.

Very bad customer service.they would say one thing when you enter and they will just deny it later. Please don't get fooled. Avoid visiting this place

Food is great, mostly crowded. Not a fan of drinks, so don't know much about it. You can reserve table before coming by calling them. It's not in the ground floor so you need lift.

There are lot better places in this area than this one. Had a very bad experience. The beer mug has a paper piece fallen on top while they were filling if from the beer tap and the server just blew into beer mug from his mouth, which I managed to see and upon asking whether he blew with mouth his answer was yes. I did and we had to drink that. The chicken was not properly boiled. Also had cover charge of 1000 per head. People need to try places like Pecos Mojo to understand what good service, good ambience, good food and customer courtesy means. Would not recommend this place for a casual beer drink.

Situated in a nice locality which also makes it a busy place.
Ambience is more to dark side and music is also good along with dance floor.
All n all a good but little over priced.
