In my child's forest

Bare laughing trees
are standing; Hardly tall
grow up
At their base is Nehada
Seedlings breathe; to believe
Flower, the fruit of trust
They are stuttering.

I have a forest too,
of insecure roots
Dense forest! Darkness penetrated
Banning light
Let the weeds spread.

Without just working hard
I have obeyed
'Forest should not be cut down'
The rules are. Otrashi
For me this forest is a sanctuary;
Hidden within me
The villain hunter.

My child's forest butterfly,
Peacock, Deer, Tiger. Animals
While friendly, my forest
Why the tumultuous shouts.

At times I was trembling
Bewildered and lost
I wander into my forest.

This forest, which has forbidden laughter, I myself have guarded
Wild can't be wild? !
.

The best part of the trek is views from this peak. Until here one feels that it is the highest point and last point of trek. However, once arrived you will find the kumara parvatha peak on to your front which has to descended for some distance and ascend again. Best point for pictures.

This place gives you the result for your effort. Such an amazing place to experience the nature's wonder. Once you reach shesha parvata you almost tend to forget that you climbed more than 12 kms.
You can actually see the clouds play. At point the place is very clear and you can see the Western ghats as far as your sight goes but suddenly clouds appear from nowhere and dissappear with the same speed.
Well the photographs can't give justice to the place, so please pack your bags and explore this heaven. Get a break from your busy schedules and from your phone too, connectivity is almost nil.

They say its the 2nd highest peak in Karnataka, they say its the toughest trek in Karnataka. Both are facts:). If you want adventure and challenge yourself, plan one day trek it's worth it. If you happen to be there, pls do not litter and pickup stuff other might have dropped. Nature at its best

They should however curb the number of people trekking on any given day. It will help the flora and fauna co-exist with trekker.

This is great and ultimate place to be with nature. You will enjoy with true nature great atmosphere with pure air.
You can reach this place via Somawarpet or from Kukke. Both routes are but different with increased difficulty levels.

Arguably one of the best treks in Western Ghats. Shesha Parvatha is encountered on the way to Kumara Parvatha. You get the best of the views in the KP Trek at Sesha Parvatha. Most of who complete KP can prefer to reach Sesha Parvatha and return. Reaching Sesha Parvatha is not an ordinary feat since the 12km trek from Kukke is all the way an up hill. Carry only required trek materials. Carry enough water atleast 2ltr. You get basic food to eat at Battaramane and nothing else in this trek so plan accordingly. Most people prefer to do this trek over two days but if you are adventurous enough you can complete the trek in one day if you wish to. Most use this trek as a training trek to trek the Himalayan mountains.

This was just before kumaraparvatha peak.
From kukkae subramanya temple it is almost 13 KM's hardcore trek.
View from shesha parvatha is mind blowing and moment to see kumaraparvatha was like a monster.
Overall trek was awesome and bit risky in rainy season because of monsoon monsters (leeches) & continuous rainfall.ther is no such risk of preparing food over there because of generous family called bhatru serves 3 times unlimited food at cheaper price and near by forest DPT made sufficient place to pitch tents and clean toilets.
But make sure to carry rain coats, umbrella waterproof shoes to get rid of rain.

A trek for lifetime.
Although it's a lengthy difficult trek, it is a trail everyone must go through at least once. The trek comprises of trail which go through several phases. Starting from Subramanya, it's quite hiking through a mild forest at first phase till you reach Bhatra mane or forest check point. After you start from this, it's all about hiking through the surface of mountains. The final stage comprises of a thick forest walk for 1.5kms and rock climbing to reach the peak.

It is a trek point. Probable time to visit after rainy season. Road is very stiff but the scenario is very beautiful. Please don't carry any plastic items.

Kumar parvatha is hidden back side of the shesha parvata. After reaching shesh parvata still 2 more kilometers we need to treak. After shesha parvata we will get a belt of thick forest which we can enjoy lot

Rather go to another place for trekking. Here it's so overpriced - 350/1000rs! - that I feel robbed. Shame on you, government

One of the wonderful hill on the way to kumara parvatha. Kallu mandapa is a stone construction to take rest, it's near to shesha parvatha. We can found a small natural water resource near to it with tasty natural water. This entire area was covered by jio and Vodafone signalling. Except few points most of the hills are covered by network. It's awesome place to visit nature lovers.

Whatta place, whatta view! Fabulously amazing. The clouds coming together and forming a snake (Shesha) hood like formation is a feast for eyes, even for body and soul.

Best Trek experience in Karnataka
Planning trek for 2 days would reduce effort to complete the trek.
However this is not the end point of the trek
The adjacent peak called the KUMARA PARVATHA is the end of the trek

Most beautiful place to trek & approximately it takes 5-6 hours to trek (one side), it has 13 kilometers distance for one side.
You can trek all around year. Best time for trek will be post monsoon months. October to February will be best time to trek.
