It is not a devotional place
It's a scheme of money making
. There is a general entry that also has a 150 rupees charge per person.

A rip off for foreigners. You have to pay 500 rupees for a temple which in my opinion, is not appropriate for a devotional place. It should be free! Plus, they've built cave like structures (looks more like a fairground), supposedly Mount Kailash where Lord Shiva resides. The structure is extremely narrow and they expect you to go through equally tight railings. They are men there dressed in orange cloth which you would assume a spiritual person but they are actually just working there, expecting donations and money to do some rituals. They don't allow you to break away from the railings unless you pay them. In my case, I was told to walk back into the railings to get to the exit and even then they didn't allow me to cross or exit. Quite a traumatic experience if you're claustrophobic and cannot find an exit.

Good concept of dham yatra and pujas covered under the same ticketing option. Crowd was well maintained. Only thing could be making the place a bit more peaceful

Temple atmosphere is very good. However there is tickets for each and evey step. People who want to visit and sit for peace will be little difficult since there are charges. But the temple is really nice. You will need to spend time here to enjoy the place. Don't make it like a tick mark activity.

Visit once, nice place to meditation and you can see big statue of lord shiva inside and can see all jyotirlinga here. Here you can see many shop where they sell traditional items like hand made items.
Entry fee may be 250rs or 300rs, but worth every penny.

Now a days business everywhere, they are charging 150 per person to enter the temple and for pooja 250 per head. They are not even allowing to enter the temple without money.
Is this temple only for high class people's? Really disappointed about this way of treating people's those who are visiting temple.

Temple is very beautiful. But very overrated because if poor do not have money they will not visit temple.

It's not like a temple. Just a Shiva statue. No feeling like you're in template. They charge to visit this place. In simple we can say it is a place where those people are there to grab money from you. They take money for everything.

Well the Mandir is not that bad but just like anything in this modern world it has been instated just for the money. Everything needs to generate revenue, nothing is done as a goodwill, the greediness and corruption is increasing day by day.

Please know your roots, learn the real Indian history and culture. Stop this non sense way of living, you won't achieve or go much or worth any real significance.

Only for temple I'm giving 5 rating but the staff over there are just looting money like anything. They are literally demand money from us.looks like they are not poojary's and all are from northies, just hate them.

Can't understand why and how people munch money in the name of god. Why is devotion a business? You need to pay to even enter in the sanctums. Why?

Pure business temple, 150 per person just to enter in to the temple, otherwise you have to see from outside, Due to these kind of temples Hinduism is in trouble, see iskcon and learn, written this if any management sees this they might realize, Thanks

It has become a commercial place of making money.
Not a place for family. Vist Historical Temples than this commercial place of God.

It is a perfect coulmination of commercial exploitation of people's belief system and making the best use of commercial space in a mall. Is more of a theme park than anything.

Not worth the visit

Hara Hara Mahadev! The divine place is much energetic with the lord shiva stotras. Everytime blessed with new energy.

A place where you forget all your worries. It gives you peace. You can sit there for hours together and meditate. The vibe is really positive and I personally love this place a lot. Om Shanti Om

They charged ₹250 per ticket for dharishanam. Very worst. No entry without paying ₹250. But the temple was good. Nice place. But ₹250 per ticket is too high and unacceptable

I liked this place but the reason i a giving 4star because i felt this place was little commercialized. I don't understand the concept of paying money for darshan.
Still the place is well maintained.
Visiting during evening time will be good.

Statue and it's presentation are good for that I want to give at least 3 star, but people's like ticket counter and other members are not well behaved.

That also matters in country like India, temple visiting charges are.

Just an ok place to visit. The place has a huge statue of Shiva and Ganesha. A dummy of all 12 Jyotirlingas and 5 dhams have been created. The place has a very narrow passage which is too cramped. There is a huge rush on weekends and queue extends on the main road. If you want to avoid this queue you will have to pay 250₹ and get in the shorter queue of special entry which is under the parking of nearby mall. Even after so huge crowd and high entry fee, very few people are there to manage the queues and people. By the time one reaches the open floor inside, he is fully exhausted. God forbids, but if anything goes wrong it can turn into a complete stampede and people would get entrapped as it has very narrow entry and exits. Do consider twice before visiting here specially with kids. They do not have even a baby care room etc.

It's pure business in name of God. They will ask for Rs. 250 as entry ticket which includes some puja etc. Senior citizen are exempted. There is separate queue free. I recommend to visit the free queue.

One of the best devotional place I have ever visited. When you enter here, we will be in some other world. It's like you are at some place might be some Himalayas or something else. The idols resemble peace and you will damn sure admire and you don't even think anything else in mind except seeing the idol. The aarthi is amazing. Everybody should come here for aarthi. Once if we see that aarthi, we never feel like missing this moment. Inside there is some entrance ticket and if we take, we can go to that place where all the shivalingas of various places which are around India.feels blessed when we visit here.

It was a good place to visit, if u are clear that you are visiting a religious meusium. Too commercialized placed for a religious visit. Visiting with a mind set of evening outing can be considered but if u want peace of mind I don't think this will give you as much peace due to the commercial mindset of people working there

The vsit and free Abhishek was good. But entrance is suffocating and very commercial. Mentioned entrance free at beginning but 50 mts in 2 tks 50 and 250 for complete and special darshans. Totally God is unique but staff is greedy

I was disappointed when I had to buy a ticket to enter.but it seems if we argue, they will allow.

This is mistake from management side

The statue is so big and awesome. We can feel the divine presence in front of lord Shiva

The place looks like Kailasam.the theme is similar to that.white mountain surrounding Lord's statue.

Its good to visit.

Peace comes at a price? Beware look before you leap they can easily submit you into buying a ticket for 150 and you come out saying ok it's for god at last but think hard really is it god

It's commercial place. When they have alreaey mentioned free entry and special darshan separate they say no free entry and purposefully ask to purchase ticket ₹250 on first desk, afterwards they have one more desk where they will give option for normal darshan ticket cost ₹150 and when we asked what about free first they will not say anything and then they said you can enter but can't see the cave.

I must say this place is awesome. One shouldn't miss this temple if you're in Bengaluru. The sight of huge Shiva statue will land you up in spiritual world. The place is frequented by devotees on weekends and on festivals. Special poojas will be performed on Maha Shiva Ratri here. There is a free entry darshan which will let you see the Shiva statue and there is a Rs. 150 darshan which let's you go into the caves that explains about 5 main Shiva pilgrim centres (Badrinath, Kedarnath, Amarnath, Haridwar and Rishikesh). One can click as many photographs as they want as there is no restriction on photography.

Few years back it was awesome.very simple and very pleasant. And now it's costly to visit. Commercials added. Looting people's money from entry to exit.

Nice temple
They collected entrance fee as 500 or 550 per person but that is like special entrance.
Employees cheated us telling this as mandatory entrance fee. When I asked is this entrance ticket or special entrance. They told its normal entrance ticket. I believe it won't be this as normal entrance ticket. Please take care

The highest and most magnificent Shiva Temple I have ever seen!
This hidden jam is impressive with its 20-meter height. It's a must see for people who are interested in architecture of such type.

P.s. I did not enter it, but saw the statue from outside.

Great time with family. I suggest tonot take the entry tickets at the starting of the line. Open through out the day. Parking and show stall available.

This is one of my favourite place to go at anytime. Temple is located in the middle of the city and Traffic will be high next to it. However, inside temple its so peaceful & pleasant. The statue has a peaceful vibes. Keeping apart from money collection etc. This place is one of the best place in Bangalore.

There is great improvement as compared to what it was earlier. There are quite a few good brand stores in kempfort after the renovation. Eating joints too are good. Located in a very convenient vicinity from where almost all kinds of modes of transport are easily available.
I hope the staff n management maintain the way it is maintained now.

Wrong description and it will mislead real devotees. Actually the team constructed a big shiva stachue just back side of kempfort mall. This is running by the same kempfort mall team. It's not a hindu temple. And I will say its just a business center running by the kempfort mall team.

Looting the people will start from the entrance itself. They have entry fee (optional) and the people can directly reach near god!
Inside they constructed many cave kind of things to attract people and it will cost seperate.

Absolutely not good place. If you want to go to a authentic temple try atleast small ones but this is like an exhibition where you pay 100 to enter and see a big statue yes it's well maintained but 100 for temple in India is absolute non sense I feel. But it's ok for one time visit but 100 is too much pricing.
