A wide choice of sweets, can eat there and take boxes home. The sweets themselves are quite tasty edging on very very sweet, you may want to try some before purchasing.
Sweets are very nice and yummy. Tastes great. Very neat and polish shop. Has branches in many places. With a lot of varities of sweets and savourites, snacks. Pista roll is a must try!
Variety of sweets available at this store. Badam milk (cold) is famous at Shree Mahalakshmi sweets. Yummy sweets available at reasonable prices. There are many branches across Mysore, all stores provide best sweets in the city. Recommended sweets - Rasmalai, Motichoor laddu and special Mysore pak. Other than sweets, there is vadapav, veg sandwich etc
A great store in a great chain. Spotlessly clean, endlessly patient and helpful staff, great prices and most important a huge range of the most amazing sweets. I only have one problem: I'm back in the UK and there's no Mahalakshmi.
This is one of the iconic Sweet house. I loved everything about this shop. They sell wide variety of sweets. The presentation of sweets is as good as it tastes. Apart from sweets they also sell the badam milk, nippattu, kodbale, chips. The service provided is also good. They have their branches in other cities and also in the same city
Best sweets in Mysuru. Should definitely try the special Mysore pak and they have their own chocolates. Food packaging is top notch.friendly staff and fast service.
Located in one of the busy street, bit difficult to identify since it's covered by the trees and street seller. Taste is good and almost all south indian style sweets are available. Also they serve cold badam milk worth of 30 rupees per glass on Feb 2020. Difficult to select when shop is filled with crowd due narrow space inside. Accept only card and cash.
One of the best places in mysuru to get sweets and savouries. The taste is very good, both sweets and snacks. The service is very good and the people who work there are also very friendly.
The place where best quality of sweets is available. You will be getting a very large selection of sweets. Service is fast here. During the festival it is better to get the sweets on prior as there will be a lots and lots of rush. Cleanliness is maintained well. Samosa is not so good. Better is go and purchase the sweets rather than ordering on the apps.
Once upon a time was an awesome place. Now neither the sweets taste good nor the behaviour of the people working in the place. Puts too much unnecessary sugar in few of the sweets. Had craving for few of the sweets like Basundi, rosagulla, ras malai etc, Because of this place i feel like puking when i see the sweets. Uses milk maid to prepare the sweets and not actual milk. Money does indeed change people. This is just an honest review as I've seen this company grow from nothing and even now when he has lot of money, still it's nothing as there is no quality of the food that these guys sell.
The sweets used to be very good from so many years, but recently looks like they are compromising with quality, bought rasmalai bit the milk felt like it had been diluted and quality was not as it used to be before.
Mahalakshmi has been around for a few years indeed. They have a good array of sweets and savouries. I really love their packaging, look and feel and they have established themselves as a serious brand from Mysore. Tastewise they are good with their Soan Papdis and the likes, but there are many many sweet makers in Mysore that will taste several notches higher and are more authentic, but don't have the backing and funds to market themselves well.
Nevertheless Mahalakshmi must be given the due credit.
Positives- special Mysore Pak, basen laddu, special laddu are very good. Negatives- kaju barfi is not tat good. There was a hair in one of son pappadi bytes sweet.
Awesome authentic mysurpa in Mysore. We had basanthi and cold badam milk which was very very tasty. So much variety of mysurpa like badam, kaju, ghee etc, Jamun role, snacks like masala peanut. Oh so good. Enjoy mysurians!
Reasonably priced, tasty snacks and sweets. Payment mode is easier as they have upgraded all modes of payment. Except for weekend and festival rushes buying is simplified. Badam milk is not upto mark.
Mahalakshmi sweets is a prominent landmark of the temple road connecting Jayalakshmipuram with Vontikoppal temple area. The bakery has good quality sweets and it is considered as the best in Mysore city. During the evenings, very nice Gopi Fry is available on street stalls outside the bakery.
