Shreya Hospital

I am writing to share my recent experience at Shreya Hospital, and unfortunately, it has left me deeply dissatisfied.

I visited your hospital seeking treatment for a normal fever, expecting a straightforward diagnosis and remedy. However, the experience turned out to be quite distressing. The diagnosis process commenced with multiple blood tests, leading to a series of inconclusive results. The prescribed medication resulted in an adverse reaction, causing a severe rash all over my body.

Upon returning to the hospital, the insistence on immediate admission was unexpected. Subsequently, an array of further blood tests, eight Paracetamol injections at a considerable cost, and multiple glucose bottles were administered. Each visit from the doctor seemed to introduce a new test, contributing to a sense of confusion and concern.

After four different blood tests, the conclusion was reached that the issue was merely a reaction to the medication. This led me to question the necessity of the extensive testing and hospitalization in the first place.

The billing process was equally disconcerting. Despite being discharged within 24 hours, I was charged for a two-day hospital stay. Only after raising the issue was one day's billing deducted, but this inconsistency raises questions about the hospital's transparency and ethical practices.

I have attached all relevant documentation to support my claims and express my hope that this matter is not taken lightly. It is disheartening to think that a healthcare institution may prioritize financial gains over the well-being and trust of its patients.

I kindly request the concerned government regulatory bodies to investigate such practices at Shreya Hospital. I believe it is essential to uphold the integrity of medical institutions, ensuring that patients are treated with fairness, transparency, and respect.

Worst hospital for any emergency
Please don’t go to this hospital in emergency.
I took my husband for an emergency and the pharmacy guy tells to wait in queue for emergency medicine and leisurely give pain killers to other patients
Sisters are so impatient and me being a doctor dint let me stay with my husband and she just told me to get out and
They in further visit taken neurologist appointment and asked to come at 4.30 and made to wait till 5.30pm and when asked them they are least bothered about patient and gave replying telling ‘if doctor comes late what can we do, u have to wait’
Do they think that we are helpless and don’t have an option and when asked for further treatment after echo they least bothered about patient well being after making wait patient wait for an echo for about 1 1/2 hour and doctor went away for some work.
Again they are like’ what can we do if doctor left, u have to wait here’
Ppl are sick don’t go guys
There is nothing called humanity in these ppl and don’t have manners to speak to ppl who are sick.

Waiting time was more than an hour even after taking appointment. Very crowded.good and polite staff though.

Just don't go this hospital, even if you have a light fever. They will not be able cure even that and they will charge very high fees. They do this by selling highly marked up tablets and medicine. Just avoid this hospital at any cost.

Good hospital. But worst experience with receptionists, they are not at all active while responding to patients. They are not properly organised.

Worst hospital money minded, Worst treatment. They won't refund your deposit money you will have to call and follow up like begging. Please be beware.

Worst hospital in Bangalore, admitted for ENT & greediness but treated for fever & cardio, not even treated for ENT and charged 60k even after discharging also still same condition and gave more than 20 injection's & made patient condition worse. They are looting money

Two experiences: one, my friend had severe burns due to oil falling on him. They immediately took care of him and ensured that the long healing process was taken care of, and he recovered completely.
Second, my child had a chin injury and the doctor advised stitches. Seeing that the child was very fearful of stitches, they applied liquid stitches and without any pain or suffering my daughter recovered from her injury.

The hospital looks small but has very competent staff.

Dear Sir venkatswamy my family is taking a treatment in ur hospital from past 10 years whenever we come to this hospital we feel like it's our home and all treatment are successful, but ur staff member (insurence department) is worst behaviour last two times am seeing her the way she treats patients like beggars, she will not provide any information about the insurance claims.please appoint one male staff for insurance claims department

Worst service in this hospital if u admit your patient in this hospital in emergency case they definitely not return to ur home they take only money they did not treat the patient they will do scam simply taking money from u worst facility

Not worthy for 1 star also, been there for my niece for fewer, doctors made us wait for 2 hours and even without seeing patient they asked us to do many tests, lost complete trust on doctor and the management when they did that so we immediately left to other nearby hospital, this hospital is like money carving not for a service

Hospital is good, but I consulted gynaecologist she speaks very rude and looks no humanity. Worst consulation.

Night duty doctor is a irresponsible person if you have value your life please don't go for emergency.

There is no token system. Just for a formality keeping tokens, if the staffs knows the patient, simply they were allowing to consulting room.

No, I don't regularly visit this hospital, No one recommended this hospital to me, Nor I had any intentions to admit my mother here. It was midnight when my mom became oncoious and the regular super speciality hospitals were very far so had to rush her here. My experience with Shreya has been utmost satisfying right from admission to discharge. Doctors are not only proficient and subject matter experts but are also empathetic and give due time to patients.recooment strongly Doctor Venkatswamy is the angel here. Thanks to all the staff and doctors. I strongly recommend this hospital to everyone even for consultation.

Overall good experience with the treatment, nice staff. The only drawback or difference from other hospitals is the consultancy charges for surgery followup visits and stitches removal visits. Most hospitals wont charge for surgery followups and stitches removal. I request the management to look into this as most of the times bill is also not provided.

Harsh behaviour from nurse meenu. Bad experience today I went this hospital for the. Reason of nebulization. Sister is too much irresponsible.i did not got proper response.

I had normal cold and flue symptoms. My covid report was also negative. Dr Venkateshwara unnecessarily got me x-ray and blood test done. This was horrible experience. They are cheaters not doctors. They will judge you by your attire and talking. If you look bit standard then you are a Bakra for them. Public please protect yourself. I have proof for everything am writing.

No proper response from any of the hospital contact details provided. Either the call is not getting connected or they are not all responding to calls. This 3 number I have been calling but didn't get back any response back from them. Wrost management.

For Covid vaccine, very slow in process. Co ordination and waiting for long time because of not proper management is really pathetic.

Nyce hospital, maintains good hygiene, friendly people, good location, free space, Dr Venkatswamy is a very nice doctor. Overall good experience. My dad was cured on a short period.

Admitted my father here and got very good treatment for covid-19. They give timely and proper antibiotics to cure infection. It is one of the best hospital in the neighborhood. Nurses are really helpful and cooperative.

Shreya Hospital treatment facilities are good and economical as well.
Dr Venkatswamy never prescribe unwanted tests & medicines, he is personable, good listeners, and empathetic to the concerns of their patients.

We had a very good experience at the hospital. The staff and the doctors were very friendly. They had cooperated very well with us.

This is about the Covid test that i had done 2 weeks back. First thing is they charge 2000 rupees even for the collection at their hospital lab. And the safety maintained there is pathetic. The technician entered there at 7.30 with out any mask, and there were 10-15 patients in queue for different lab tests. The technician was not using proper mask while collecting blood for other tests. When my tern came i agree that he was wearing mask, shield and gloves. But what was his guarantee that the other patients came for tests are not having Covid. Moreover, please be indful when you visit their lab at this point in time as the lab it self is having no ventilation and it is not safe. Than paying 2000, please prefer home collection as it is less costly and safe!

This hospital serves best to the patient and much appreciated for the doctors and nurses for their endeavours.thank you.

negative thought about your health please take the bill at the same date you have been addmeted worst hospital ever scene the doctor MD is not updated he gives old medicine and he advise to take more expensive medicine which is not necessary the MD don't have any controlling capacity of annger he screams even on pacient even one star is also not worth to this hospital worst

Highly Disappointed!
In these hard times, we trust doctors and thank them for their service but I had really bad experience at Shreya Hosp.
Dr. VENKATSWAMY, Sir, I Neither care how many degrees you have nor your Medals of Honor, first learn how to speak to women, we are not getting any free consultation, we are paying ₹300 for consultation at reception (receptionist busy in collections and calculations), treated rudely.
Here after I will never recommend Shreya hospital to any friends or family people.
For god sake please shut down that damn Pharm next to hospital, you get nothing there. (people dont waste your time to buy medicine there, go to Maruthi medicals instead).

Excellent job was from the team of this hospital. The doctors, the staff nurses, and the others too were very much humble and had a good coordination, understanding towards the patient. The hospital is very closer to the main road also very hygiene and good environment too. No doubt about it. But still if the extra nurse was there, then it would be too good to the other staff nurses as I felt bad when the nurses were on duty without any rest. It's a request towards the hospital for the sake of nurses when they are in duty.

Worst hospital just want to pluck money from pocket no value for money there and doctors are very bad for checking legpain the doctor asked to take so many tests instead of treating the patients if all reports are comming normal they are telling to do new tests for high rates not recommended pls don't go there the doctor lohith is so bad that he just wants to loot money

Just for x ray (500) and striping bandade (800), they changed Rs1300. It's more like they are doing it for business rather than as medical services.
I guess govt must regulate all these private hospital that charge like hell we don't even know either they are paying taxes for the profit they are earning (they accept only cash as payment which probably is to avoid tax)
Don't know how some one who's poor could afford their such a high medical charges
