The rooms were clean and have 24 hours hot water facility. There is no wifi facility, neither any nearby restaurant. Staff were kind enough. Prices are cheaper and is located in the immediate vicinity of temple. Around 1kms from kukke temple entrance.
I had a wonderful experience staying at Krishna Residency in Subrahmanyam. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and I especially appreciated the spotless washroom facilities.
One of the standout features was the 24-hour hot water supply, which was a blessing after a long day of visiting the nearby temple. Speaking of the temple, its proximity to the hotel was a huge advantage, making it convenient for devotees.
The parking space was ample and well-maintained, and I was pleasantly surprised by the aquarium in the hotel, adding a unique touch to the ambiance. The positive vibe and respectful behavior of the staff created a welcoming atmosphere that made my stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, I highly recommend Krishna Residency in Subrahmanyam to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay with excellent staff support and cleanliness. It's a gem of a place in this area.
Rooms and service are good. Very good maintenance of the common area and rooms. Staff is very friendly. Parking space available. Room rates are on the higher side but compared to other local hotels, it seems reasonable. Hotel is uphill around 150 meters from road. If anyone who cannot climb 3-4 times a day, should avoid it.
Even though it is a little out from temple (around 300-400 meters) the hospitality is very good, the rooms were maintained and were very hygiene. The staff were friendly and all this in a very less budget. It's a pocket friendly with good hygiene and clean hotel room. Would recommend anytime over other when compared to price and hospitality.
Average rooms according to price.if u consider cleanliness, avoid this place. No proper ventilation. Provide only a single towel even if 2 persons are staying. Otherwise good.
Pathetic place, stinks to the core, unresponsive and unruly staff. Very unhygienic rooms, the set top box is not recharged, we checked in on the 4th June 2022 and the last recharge was done sometime in March 2022. I'd recommend people not to book this place, only the entrance is all decked up and clean. It's filled with lizards and spiders otherwise.not sure when the bathroom was cleaned them last time. If I could rate this place negative. I'd give it a -5. The bed Lenin needs dry cleaning too. I'm guessing myself for booking this place, writing this review from my bed as an unable to sleep because of the stink.please stay away from this
Worst experience with this lodge key was broken because it is old and that was thier fault and fined for us seriously bad experience of mine.struggle to ge refund with them
Rooms are medium of size. Hot water only between 5am to 8 am. No lift facility because only one floor. Bath rooms emit some odd smell but cleaned. Average hotel.
Very cheap and best room that you can find all over subramanya and rooms are neat and clean️, and i love how good behaving stafs are here, really loved the stay here️
The stay is 1 km away from Subramanya temple. Staff service was pretty good. We had rented a AC room which was pretty decent. 2-4 wheeler parking space is also available with in the compound.
Decent hotel for it's price, nothing too fancy. One can expect basic accommodation. Hot water only available from 5 am to 8 am. You will not get it even if requested outside these hours. The room was clean, however their linen was a bit shabby. Although washed, they had stains of mould (my guess). AC room costed ₹1000 in the month of Feb '22. The hotel is designed and run exactly for the purpose of pilgrimage so don't have too much of expectations. They don't even have room service or any restaurant. Morning coffee is also chargeable. The nearest restaurant is 0.5 km from this place. Temple is 1 km.
Rooms was good, no availabilty of food nearby.it was far away from the temple you must have a vehicle to stay here for comfortable connection to the temple.
Sri Krishna Residency sits half-way to the top a rising hillock, neat and we'll furnished rooms.there is no restaurant, though. Nearby is Dwara, a boarding and lodging establishment with good restaurant. Enough parking space for half-a-dozen cars.
We had paid advance and booked the room for 4 days.but unfortunately there was a death.and we wanted to change the date of travel. The hotel owner refused to change the date and never returned the advance amount also.worst service ever.
Even we have faced same experience what sharath mentioned. They didn't ON the generator when power good OFF. We are booking on 14th night. But we are helpless we already paid 2 days amount.
I have share my experience here. We have booked a non AC room on 14/04/2021to 15/04/2021. In that residency we are the only family are booking, in the middle of the night the power went off and he didn't on the generator. Around 1: 30 or 2: 30 AM another 2 family came, that time he start the generator. I have asked him why power is not there and why you didn't on the generator when the power goes off. But he replied like that "we cannot start the generator because you are the only family is booking, so we can't ON the generator. And he said If you take AC room then we can ON the generator of power goes OFF". So those are not responded properly. In summer we can't stay in the rooms if we don't have power.
Very good place to stay. Very clean and well maintained. Only thing is you don't get food or coffee tea here. But if you have your own vehicle, good place to stay. Hot water is also available in the morning from 5am to 8am. AC rooms costed INR 1,000 and non ac costed INR 700 on March 20th, 2021
I had to cancel the booking coz the government issued a statement to avoid unnecessary travel to places with crowds. But I wasn't issued refund of even a single rupee. Really selfish management. Even if you book before hand, make the payment on spot.
This isn't any star hotel. It is just a normal hotel. You won't get any food here. Good restaurants are only available near the temple. And this hotel is far from the temple. The owner/staff of this hotel were rude with us as we were late by 10 minutes for checkout. Felt unsafe here.
Staff was not at all helpful. They were behaving rude. When asked for room service they denied. No Signed board for the hotel. Its difficult at night to search the hotel. No street light near hotel. Its very dark and it is risky at night.
Value for money, I got the AC rooms for 1000 per day, staff was very helpful in providing anything needed, place is small compared to other places, but clean
Staff and management is good and supportive.but only disadvantage is no hotel or food available.need to go into town for food.auto charges 30-40 INR from temple to this residence
Amazing locality. Can spend good time out of city crowd and main road traffic. Better pricing compared to other hotel with same amenities. Good interiors and neat rooms.
Room are clean but hot water only available from 5 morning till 10 am. No restaurants attached you need to go out have food. Only one bottle of water will be given rest of days we were changed and little far from the temple.
Nice place to stay, hot water available, all rooms have televisions, you'll get a soap and a towel when you book the room, parking for two and four wheelers are available. Around a kilometer from the temple. Kind staff.
January 2nd i checked in to this place for a night's stay during my visit to Kukke Subrahmanya. And here is my experience in detail. It was on 24th December i initially tried to book couple of rooms for Jan 2nd night, based on an ex colleagues reference. I was suggested to make advance payment (in full for the two rooms) by email. But he did not give me clarity on the kind of rooms they had and he insisted that we take AC rooms as the weather was hot. But in reality we did not use the AC as the outside temperature was around 12-14 degrees in the night. Due to reasons on 28th Dec or so we needed to cancel one of the room booked but the person at desk initially refused and when i insisted i need to talk to the Manager/Owner of the lodge, he agreed for refund. But as another friend of me joined the trip i retained my reservation and did not cancel it.
The Lodge (yes it is only meant for stay, no restaurant or any kind of room service available) is ideally located in a silent locality about 1km away from the temple. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is passable. The have good parking space for cars but have no lift for the rooms in first floor. There ends the good part of my review.
The Mattresses are of Queen size and not spacious. Mattresses are aged and to hard for a nights sleep. Linen provided is not great. Cable TV has hardly any active channels for viewing. Hangers in the cupboard are cheap, bent aluminium type and not usable. Hot water available only in the morning and not round the clock. Showers do not work. Not enough hardware to keep your fresh cloths in the bathrooms. They do not have intercom telephone in the rooms and their calling bell also does not work.
My bad experience: They did not provide the second towel.they did not provide the usual mini Medimix soap, when i asked for an extra pillow - i was provided with an old stinky knotted cotton pillow and only when i argued and complained they give me a regular one. They refused to give a different type of a room (bigger family room) from what i had initially booked even though it was available.
And finally please note: it is not worth the price you pay for the place.
