Rude Swami's, dakshina (money) is demand inside and outside temple (eg -vehicle Pooja) if money is not given as demanded they will curse you.
Just go inside temple and pray. Don't involve with Swami's.

Born in the year 1836, Swami Sidharoodha is known to have been a famous spiritual leader who preached Advaitha Philosophy in the 18th century. The math has seen notable visitors like Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Mahatma Gandhi.

Auspicious place. Very famous in Hubballi and North karnataka. Its a very big temple or Math, people can stay here for more than one day. Kalyanamantapa is also there. All 3 times meal or daasoha will be arranged. Some good omens will be followed all the year.

Very well maintained. Famous temple in northern part of Karnataka. People come from different places. They do have hostel facility n they provide free education for blind kids. Their trust is helping many poor kids n blind kids. Evening time visit would be very good due to lightings n there would be some functions arranged every week.

Previously 2 lakes were here, one was closed, now this is only lake at Shravan festival Teppada Teru is main attraction, it is its only kind only at siddharudhamath.

ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತ ಸರ್ವಭೌಮರೆಂದು ಹೆಸರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ಧಾರೂಢರು ೧೮೩೬ರಲ್ಲಿ ಚಳಕಾಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದರು. ಜನ್ಮದಾರಭ್ಯ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಚಿಂತನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದುಬಂದವರು ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ಧಾರೂಢರು, ೧೮೩೬ ರಿಂದ ೧೮೭೭ರ ವರೆಗೆ ಅಖಂಡ ೪೧ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ದೇಶಾದ್ಯಂತ ಕಾಲ್ನಡಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಧರ್ಮಬೋಧನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತ ೧೮೭೭ರಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಆಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆರೂಢ ಪಟ್ಟ, ಪದವಿ, ಮಠ ಹಾಗೂ ಭಕ್ತ ಸಮೂಹ, ಶಿಷ್ಯ ವರ್ಗಯಾವುದು ಇರಲ್ಲಿ. ಊರು ಕೆರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸುತ್ತಾಡಿದಾ ಮೇಲೆ ಆರೂಢರ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದವರು ದೀನರು, ದಲಿತರು, ಅಸ್ಪೃಶ್ಯರು ಮುತ್ತಿತರ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ಜನಾಂಗದವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಸಕಲ ಜೀವತ್ಮರಿಗೆ ಲೇಸನ್ನೇ ಬಯಸುವ ಉದಾತ್ತ ಹಾಗೂ ಉನ್ನತವಾದ ಆಸೆ-ಆಕಾಂಕ್ಷೆಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ ಸಿದ್ಧಾರೂಢರಿಗೆ ಆ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ಜನಾಂಗದವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕರಳು ಹಿಂಡುವಂತಾಯಿತು. ಆ ಜನಗಳು ವಿದ್ಯೆ, ಅಧಿಕಾರ, ಸಂಪತ್ತು, ಸಾಂಸಾರಿಕ ಜೀವನದ ಸುಖಗಳಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಉಳ್ಳವರ ಶೋಷಣೆ, ದಬ್ಬಾಳಿಕೆಗೆ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ದಿನದಲಿದರ, ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ಜನಾಂಗದವರ  ಮೇಲೆ ನಡದೇ ಇತ್ತು. ಉಳ್ಳವರ ದರ್ಪದಿಂದ ಬೆಂದು ಬೆಂಡಾಗಿದ್ದ ಆ ಜನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನಾ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಸತ್ತು ನಿರ್ಜಿವವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಿತ್ತು. "ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶತಶತಮಾನಗಳಿಂದಲು ಪಶುಗಳಂತೆ ಏಕೆ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಿ? ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮಂತೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲವೇ? ನಮಗೂ ನಿಮ್ಮಂತೆ ಉದ್ಧಾರವಗುವ ಹಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲವೆ? " ಎಂದು ಎದ್ದು ನಿಂತು ಕೇಳುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಅವರು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಅಲೋಚನೆ, ವೈಚಾರಿಕತೆ ಎಂಬುದರ ಬಾಗಿಲು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎಂದೋ ಮುಚ್ಚಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಊರವರ ಬಿಸಾಕಿದ ಎಂಜಲು ತಿಂದು, ಊರಹೂರಗೆ ಪಶುಗಳಂತೆ ಬದುಕಿದ್ದ ಅಸ್ಪೃಶ್ಯರ ಜೋಪಡಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ಧಾರೂಢರು ತೆರಳಿ ದಲಿತರ, ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ಜನಾಂಗದವರ ಬಾಳಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಆಶಾಕಿರಣವಾಗಿ, ದಾರಿದೀಪವಾಗಿ, ಅವರ ಉದ್ಧಾರದ ಹೂಸ ಆಶಾಕಿರಣವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿತರಾದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ಧಾರೂಢರು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೆ ನೆರೆದಿದ ದಲಿತರು, ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ಜನಾಂಗದವರನ್ನು ಕರೆದು "ಅಪ್ಪಗಳಿರಾ, ಅವ್ವಂದಿರಾ ನೀವು ಯಾರು ನಿರ್ಗತಿಕರಲ್ಲ, ದಿಕ್ಕು-ದೆಶೆಗಳಿಲ್ಲದವರಲ್ಲ. ಇತರರಂತೆ ನಿಮಗೂ ಉದ್ಧಾರದ ಹಕ್ಕು ಇದೆ. ಈ ಆಜ್ಞಾನದ, ಅನಕ್ಷರತೆ, ಮೌಢ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊರಬನ್ನಿ. ದೌರ್ಬಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮೆಟ್ಟಿನಿಂತು ಮುನ್ನುಗ್ಗಲು ಎದ್ದೇಳಿ" ಎಂದು ಸಿದ್ಧಾರೂಢರು ದೈರ್ಯತುಂಬಿದರು. ಸಿದ್ಧಾರೂಢರು ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಾರೆ ತಾವು ತಂದ ಭಿಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅವರಿಗೂ ತುತ್ತು ನೀಡಿದರು. ಆರ್ಶಿವಾದದ ಅಭಯಹಸ್ತವನ್ನು ಅವರ ತೆಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟರು. ಕಿವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ "ಓಂ ನಮಃ ಶಿವಾಯ" ಎಂಬ ಮಹಾಮಂತ್ರವನ್ನು ಭೋಧಿಸಿದರು ಅವರಿಗೂ ಮೇಲ್ವರ್ಗದವರಿಗೆ ಇರುವಂತೆ ಮಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಉಚ್ಚರಿಸುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೈರ್ಯತುಂಬಿದರು. ಬದಕನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುವ ತಾಕತ್ತು ಕರುಣಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲ ಹಣೆ ತುಂಬ ವಿಭೂತಿ ಧರಿಸಿ, ಬಾಯಿ ತುಂಬ ಶಿವಮಂತ್ರ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ಸದ್ಗುರು ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ಧಾರೂಢರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು ಅವರ ಭಕ್ತಿಗೆ, ಸಮಾನತೆಗೆ ತೆಲೆಬಾಗಿ ಅವರತ್ತಾ ಆಕರ್ಷಿತರಾದ್ದರು.

This is a Divine Place. Sri Sri Siddarooda Swamiji blessed this place with many miracles and even today the devotees can feel his presence here. The place is simple - well connected - and has a signature atmosphere of Vedic Chants being written on the walls. The essence of the four vedas are written on the four sides if the pillar facing sri swamiji peetha.
It follows the Advaitha Sampradaya of Sri Adi Shanakaracharya.
The place is clean and well maintained.
Evening 8.30pm after maha Mangalarati - Anna prasada - food is dist5eibuted to the devotees.
From Central Bus Stand Hubli - Rani Chennamma circle - you can get sharing autos which will charge a nominal amount to drop you to the temple / matha.

Feeling blessed. It's one of its kind. Huge and pious place for Hindus. Like Mahatma Gandhi, Lokmanya Tilak many well known and famous people visited this place. So it is historical and Religious place. You will get Maha Prasad also. For Maha Prasad you will find a long queue. But it's said that those who ate this Maha Prasad will have a good health.

There is some kind of spiritual spirit to make the mind calm here. The sculptures are also awesome. Sidharooda swamp is famous all over North karnataka even in South karnataka also.
