Dr. Ganesh Pratap is an eligible doctor whose dedication and work should be recognised throughout Bengaluru. I visited him 2 months ago with a symptom of breathlessness, feeling fuller in nostril and cough. Before that i visited 3 to 4 General practitioners, done several test and medication which was really a pathetic experience for me. Then I searched and found Dr. Ganesh name from Google and visited him at Swasha clinic Yelahanka branch, got cure within 10 days. He listens to the patient very calmly and do the diagnosis well. Unnecessary tests not done. He understand the simple root cause. Will recommend him whole heartedly.
I was suffering from bad cough and severe headache. No day have spent without sneezing and nightmares with nasal blocks. Have roamed all over Blore and consulted many physicians and pulmonologist. But no one recognised by deviated nasal septum and infected sinus. Dr Ganesh is the man who sorted my problem. He found nasal drainage obstruction. Got my nasal surgery done. My cough and head ache got relived. I can bet he can solve any cough related issues in this world. He has given me breath to live. I will say the best pulmonologist in whole world is Dr Ganesh.
A few words from my heart…for Dr Ganesh I am letting all the readers knew about the journey I went through in past few days and convey my heartiest gratitude to Dr Ganesh who helped and guided properly. I was suffering from chronic coughing from End of January and no other major sickness, but the cough was such a way that you are not able to speak and attend meetings which is a regular activity for my work. I went to the local clinic near to me and met a general physician and I shared them that the severe coughing is started after something chocked while eating. The doctor suggested few antibiotics and to revisit after a week, but there were no relief to cough at all and the doctor asked to test Sputum AFB and turned to be negative and then asked to do a chest CT which shows some infection on the right low nob of lounges. The doctor told you are affected with TB and need to take medication asap and do not travel (as I was planning to go to native for Vishu festival). Which was a shocking news to me as I have no other systems like fever, weight loss etc. This gives me intense mental pain and affected badly overall. I can say the luckiest thing happened that I decided to take a second opinion before starting the long medication, next day I went to Dr. Ganesh (who is also treating my mother in law also for Asthma) for the second opinion and direction. After hearing the history I mention above and seeing the reports immediately doctor told that I cannot suggest for TB medicine base on only these reports. He mention that from his experience this never shows for chance of a TB as you have no weight loss or fever and he mention that from his experience most of the TB cases will come first upper part of the lounges and not the lower part. The doctor mention this can be also that there could be some foreign particle in your lounges and which may cause infection. Doctor suggested to go for a Bronchoscopy to examine further before any medication. The very next day I went to hospital and doctor administrated bronchoscopy and it was exactly to his thinking and assumption, there was a foreign particle in the right side of the lounge (which was a grated coconut piece, went inside while I was eating Ada (made of coconut). With his experience and skills, doctor was able to remove this through bronchoscopy itself. After the removal of this from lounges from same day, evening itself the cough came down drastically. Doctor had send sample for detailed examination to labs. The lab reports came as expected negative for TB and only have somefungal and other bacterial infection for which doctor prescribed some medication for few days. Now I am perfectly relieved and no coughing at all, there is no words there to express my gratitude to Dr Ganesh and the Shwasa Mitra clinic, and the way how he take care of the patients. I wish all the best and pray to God to bless Doctor Ganesh with all goodness. I am sure Doctor will cure and give relief to lot of patients as he usually do. Lastly I also want to mention and thanks the support team of the doctor especially Apoorva, who is very much efficient in taking care and coordinating during my treatment and procedure time with her skills and efficiency.
I saw him in a tv interview. This doctor is amazing. Has excellent knowledge on cough. Took my father to him. He gives minimum half n hour of time for every consultation. Listens to every bit you say. Ultimately he will catch your disease. Friends don't waste time seeing general doctors. If u have cough, Dr Ganesh is the key to solve it.
Dr Ganesh is the worst doctor. I had allergic asthma and he couldn’t diagnose it and told me to consult a therapist saying i have mental issues. Later i went to an ayurvedic doc who cured me. Dr Ganesh is highly not recommended.
Today, in SuvarnaNews I viewed the debate between Dr. Pratap n Sri Ajith Hanumakkanavar on covid. Hats off to the Doctor, who has given vast information how to combat with oxygen level enhancement doing proning n also using oximeters etc, What an inspiration to the panickers. Each n everyone should follow his advise to defeat corona. Once again hats off to the Doctor.
Well a very humble and professional pulmonologist who in the first consultation will put the patient at ease. His expertise (handles over 100 patients a day) on covid treatment is evident in his tv interviews and his patients reviews. Attending to patients (till 2am sometimes) so poised even with overwhelming case counts he will not leave a single patient unattended. I dnt know of a better pulmonologist than Dr Ganesh.
Dr Ganesh Pratap is one of the best doctors I can vouch for. He explained to me in a very simple way and the treatment that he provided was awesome. Best doctor, I would say!

Dr Ganesh provided excellent treatment to my father for COPD conditions. My father was admitted for a week at Prakriya with breathlessness and low oxygen on 5th may. Dr Ganesh was very thorough in diagnosis and in a friendly manner. He is also a skillful Interventionist who has a wide variety of tools and techniques purely due to his passion. Very rare in these days. Today after 1 month and 12 days my father doesn't need any medications! He has been given a new lease of life by Dr. Ganesh. This doctor operated risky lung case successfully. My nephew (baby) had swallowed a tiny toy part, went into lungs. Well known hospitals rejected to operate. And finally he literally saved my nephew. Thanking countless times isn’t enough for him. Very nice doctor.
