Silent Shores Resort & Spa

It is the one of the best resort in mysore at the price mentioned. The food, resort amenities is very nice and have plenty of green space. Resort area is also huge. They give evening high tea as complimentary which I have never seen anywhere i visited. A separate cafe, bar and bella italio restaurwnt makes it even more special.
Rooms are bigger in size and all have large sized balconies. Swimming pool is huge and plenty of recreational amenities as well available.

The restaurant Bella Italiano is the best Italian restaurant in whole of Mysore. The staff is the best. And the spinach stuffed ravioli is out this world (only place where ravioli is available in Mysore). Chef Hussain and Kaushik were nice.

Nice ambiance. Food was great must try. Service also good. Chef Hussain and Koushik malthesh were very friendly.

Our recent visit to Silent Shore Hotel was truly exceptional. From the serene location to the outstanding service, it exceeded our expectations. The restaurant offered delectable cuisine, and the spa was pure bliss. Our room was spacious and beautifully furnished, providing a peaceful view of the lake. We highly recommend Silent Shore Hotel for a perfect getaway.

Bella italiano restaurant at silent shores resort its really good with the ambiance and food. We love food here. We had pasta and pizza here. Chef husain mahatesh and mr kaushik service is really well.

Excellent spacious property with lot of greenery and cleanly maintained. Has several options to engage and spend quality time like bicycle for hire, buggies to move around, large pool, two large kids play area and courteous staff. I would definitely recommend this resort if you are looking for a good getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

Woow! I had such a great experience at this resort everything was really amazing all facilities was there room with Jacuzzi was really worth for every penny! Services that you are getting will make you feel like a king! Resturant was really good food was epic there are bunch activites also to do! One of the memorable experience!

Stayed for 1 night and had a very good time. Lots of space and excellently maintained property. Stayed in duplex room. Staff service was timely and courteous. Only ventilation problem near indoor games. Ordered Manchow soup taste was not good but other food was good. Like the variety and taste of complimentary breakfast buffet served in the morning. I would like to visit once again.

Our friend chose this place for her wedding. There was so much of mismanagement, no flexibilities in anything. The food quality was so poor that all the guests had stomach infection. Most pathetic place ever.

Without doubt this is one of the best place in mysore. Property is really huge, well maintained. We stayed in cottage which is prime place amongst all the rooms available. Balcony right next to artificial lake is the best part. It has better view and feel compared to other room options. The pool is really huge and colorful and great spot to click pics. They provide complimentary breakfast which is good. Masala dosa and there chutneys are must try. Buffet and a le carte seems bit expensive. Candle lit dinner by lake side is must try. Its family and kids friendly. Staffs are good. We stayed for 2 nights and had great time. I recommend this place.

Food was really good and price was as regular restaurants in cities not like othe resorts where it's over priced.staff was helpful.they keept checking if we were satisfied with the service and quality.over all a very good stay

Quick and nearby get-away from Bangalore. Lovely place for kids. About 40 acres of resort with various kinds of rooms. Try the duplex rooms which are a rarity in resorts. Must stay for atleast 2n3d. Staff are courteous. All inclusive meal plan could be made available

Excellent location and amenities, I stayed last week and fully enjoyed my stay. Good to stay and relax.
Also they take care of guests really well, infact they returned my left out item in the room immediately through courier.

Place is great, food is also good but they take a lot of time to prepare the food. So always order in advance, I mean before you are hungry. With the price and property and is very well maintained.

Very shocking to experience such bad tasting food at silent shores. Quality has dropped alot. Overall experience was bad.

Excellent place for relaxing. Very well maintaned. Nice and clean. Rooms were spacious. Food was delicious. Complementry breaksfast was perfect. Staff was very curteous, always had a smile on their face and will greet you warmly. I went their with my family and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Will visit again soon.

Nice resort we had been here for lunch.food was good with quality taste. We tasted veg and chicken mancho soup, paneer tikka, veg spring roll, chicken lollipop, fish tawa fry, veg noodles all were good except fish tawa fry. Good place to hangout with friends and family. I like to recommend this place for atleast once.

We had an excellent stay in this resort. The food, rooms, hygiene, service, hospitality, ambience was top notch. Highly recommended!

No way close to a 5 star resort based on stay experience.
Full of lie story before booking and after reaching.
Very bad service.you are at the cafe for high tea.and wait time is 1 hour atleast to get it.

Its a good venue and decent for hosting weddings.

They insist that for decoration we must use one of their 3 listen vendors only, and that is far from ideal. At one wedding last year, one of the chosen 3 did a sub standard job. I hope they change this policy.

Great place to chill out with spacious rooms on a sprawling property. Good wi-fi network if you are considering a workation.

Disappointing.on 2nd day. No hot water for bathing available, reason given was the resort was full.on 1st day -Was waiting for coffee in a open lobby one of the staff even after noticing was busy taking pics of other guest, even after the guest told to check us he did not care after a good 15mins he came and told there is no coffee served here and said there is cafe bar at other place, not even bothered for apology.waited at the coffee for 1 hour in the cafe bar.worst service.

Awesome place in Mysore between lap of nature. The property is well maintained. Very peaceful. Have all sorts of amenities but pool was closed due to covid. Buffet breakfast have a lot of options. You would not want to go out.

Resort is good overall, but service is not great or as expected for such a good looking resort. Especially the food service was extremely slow, would advise people tonorder atleast 45 mins before, they take their own time (they say reason such as covid) to prepare food and serve. No entertainment aswell, no music. Due to covid, the pool is closed. I would not advise anyone here, unless it's the last option.

But the resort is very open and spacious! Lot of greenery and would be good for families with kids.

I like this place the staff is good and the area is kept clean &the rooms a worthwhile but the stock is unbelievable. Like for lunch I had ordered a rice chicken curry and aloo fry but in the menu it had written that dal makhani and dal fry was available but when we ordered they said it was not not there the same day after dinner we wanted vanilla ice cream and caramel custard, even on the menu it says that its available but when we ordered they said they had only ice cream. Well in conclusion, if u r planning to visit anytime soon please know that ur taking a huge risk for urself and your family because 1 simple dal was not available

Resort which doesn't seems to have recovered from pandemic.

Stayed for 2 nights with family in the lake view cottage.

Things which we liked:
- Cottage is very spacious with all amenities including jacuzzi.
- Housekeeping done well and quick response for any issues or requests.
- Cozy balcony and excellent view from balcony.

Things which we didn't like:
- F&B - Very poor quality food, inconsistent.e. G.the rice served is of bad quality. Same dish tastes differently at different times. Limited menu options.
- Inroom dining - takes a lot of time, took 2 hours on one occasion.
- DTH service didn't work for a day, door bell never worked.
- Non strict enforcement of Covid protocols. Sometimes even staff seen without a mask.

The room deserves a 5 star however let down by services. Hence overall a 2 star as the services especially F&B mar the experience.

Cottage ambience was really cool. Breakfast was awesome. Food price on weekends (starts from Friday) is expensive. Smokes are supplied but twice the price of MRP and billed to room as room service without proper description. Swimming pool was closed due to Covid. Snake and ladder was not maintained. Security at the gate need to have some manners to talk to guest. Overall it does not qualify for more than 3 star.

But Very lax with covid protocols. Rooms lacks planning (for ex u may struggle for a plug point)

If u are looking for a relaxed few days, with just amongst friends / family - good one. But if u are those v cautious type.think again

Stay was average for the price paid. The property is good for people to relax but very few activities for kids were working. And maintainence post lockdowns is not great. Breakfast was good but the Lund and dinner was below average.

Well maintained property with good hospitality. They have different types of rooms like laoke view facing, pool view facing, garden view facing. Restaurant and children play area is near to cottages and lake view facing rooms and parking is near to garden view facing room. Make sure you take gate 2 to enter property if you are coming for stay.

ROOM: we stayed in the cottage type. The room was extremely spacious. The bathroom was perhaps the biggest i have ever seen. Very well maintained. The view of the lake was breathtaking. The patio was indeed a great place to hang out. The housekeeping and room service was prompt and friendly.

STAFF: the staff was helpful and courteous. They were eager to help out. The reception was excellent. Shout out to Mr Kumar from housekeeping and Mr Challappa for the go karting experience (aka in resort transportation) with his golf buggy

FOOD: the breakfast buffet offers a wide range of food. I understand that it is complementary, but it was not tasty. It is surprising how idly, dosa and omelette can be so bland and tasteless. Same goes for the milkshake. Bakery items were pathetic. Never had such dense croissant. The poori, vada, chutney and kesari bath were the few edible items.

The resort had to restaurants and a cafe. We had dinner once at the Ambrosia restaurant. It was poor, to say the least. The tandoor items like the paneer and mushroom tikka had an overdose of mustard, not tasty at all. The other items like the roti and dal makhani were very average and for their taj hotel like rates, a complete rip off.

It is not such a big problem as you could always go in the city and find good places to eat. I recommend Jalpaan restaurant for vegetarians.

If they improve the quality of their food, I would definitely give the resort a 5 star rating.

RESORT: extremely spacious and well maintained. A nice place for evening walks with a large variety of flora. The facilities were excellent. The swimming pool with its basketball hoops was really fun. The gym was decent, not great. Didn't use the spa cause of its exorbitant rates. There was a nice play area for small kids as well. The gift shop was really cool, lot of variety and designs. But the standout was the games room.

GAMES ROOM: the best games room I have seen in a resort. 2 pool tables, TT, foosball, 2 carrom boards, a play area for kids and more. It was awesome. The air hockey wasn't of good quality though. The darts were an absolute rip off (55 bucks for 10 shots). Still a great place. The attendant was very nice and kept the place neat and organised.

OVERALL: amazing place to destress and rejuvenate from the hustle and bustle of city life, definitely going to visit it again.

I had the privilege of working on the design of this pool side building. It has great rooms with a visual access to the swimming pool.

We loved our stay. We were amazed at how beautiful the resort was. The service was impeccable. We were greeted with warm genuine smiles from all staff wherever we went. It was truly a treat to be there.

I have fond memories of this place. Visited it first time in 2009 after completing my training at Infosys Mysore. Went there again after 10 yrs. Sprawling resort and a great place for a get together with friends with good food and drink!

It's awesome, I want to go and stay many many times in that ambience. Suggestion is that they can add some peacocks to this resort which can roam around and enhance its beauty more.
