The food here was quite good. Our stay was made very comfortable by Abhishek, Umesh and Naveen. Would definitely stay here again.

Travelled so far.paid so much and what we got was waste of money.
The rooms are highly charged. They don't offer any snacks.
The food served was cold. With such high prices what pathetic food is served. Don't not recommend this to anyone. Weekend we'll wasted in silent valley

We assumed that this is in Chikmagalur (based on Facebook add) but it's not.very far, otherwise rooms are well maintained and good service

Best place for a relaxing vacation. The food and the stay was very comfortable and satisfying. The best resorts. It's a new resort. U can for sure visit here.

1. It is beautiful resort to stay near kalasa. It is surrounded by lush green trees. View from this resort is awesome.
2. Rooms are called villas, rooms are pretty old and decent, and bit dusty they can improve further on this. Because they are charging more.
3. They have beautiful swimming pool for kids and adults. It's well maintained.
4. They have children play area. Surrounding environment is well maintained.
5. They have separate dining area which is good and maintained well.
6. They have indoor and outdoor games.
7. They have campfires in the evening which is good.
8. Staff are reachable all the time and well behaved.
9. They have good parking area.
10. Food is average for the cost that we are paying, you have veg and non veg options.
11. They have well maintained garden, for elders they have enough space for walking.
12. Phone/Internet connectivity, only jio works
For all other network there is no signal.

Overall its bit expensive. If we can get for cheaper price it's worth a stay.

Management has to review price as its bit expensive.

Rooms are ok, service is too bad, only if people are more than 10 they will allocate time to you, and food only tiffin are good, meals and dinner you never how worst it is

Very nice place to hang out with family and friends for a couple of days. Very friendly and helping staff. They serve very good food as well. It was overall a great experience for me and my family staying at this place and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Staff is very polite, rooms and surrounding area is maintained very clean and hygiene. Food is very tasty with good quality. Value for money.

Never had an experience as bad in any place prior to this. The rooms were really in a bad shape and there was debris falling off the ceiling with all sorts of bugs everywhere it was very difficult to keep them out of the room. The power supply was extremely irregular. There is no mobile network and there was really horrendous wifi which was only available in the reception. The service in charge tried to make it a pleasant experience but it was overshadowed by the mere lack of everything in the resort. Even the food was below average. The coffee was an abomination.

To sum it up, My stay at Silent valley resort was like a nightmare. Avoid at all costs.

Although the resort is beautiful, there's hardly any network available.

Excellent location but not a serene place. Expected a lot of greenery but it's not the case. There is no dedicated smoking area and people smoke wherever they feel like. Disturbed my family a lot.

Good food, Decent accomodation, Property has good amenities and staff is receptive. Nearer to base camp at Kudremukh. One can bunk the night before and after here if one has the budget and also also relax since it is a resort. Negotiate with them and you will redeem the money thus spent.

Cottage are worst, there is no cleaness, worst rooms, there is no proper water on bathroom, food also not upto the mark, if in case call to reception after 11 pm no one going to response, there is no facilities to play.

Worst worst my experience on 25th Dec. The Hotel room not ready and TV set is just a showpiece inspite of complaint they could not attempt only they turn up during check out. Food worst quality my 8k for one night room only NOT A VALUE FOR MONEY. My rating Minus -5

A weekend well spent at Silent Valley Kalasa. Had been here with my family and enjoyed our vacation. The food was really good and we had quite a few options to choose from in the buffet. The rooms are spacious and could easily accommodate 4 of us. The team there were really sweet and guided us to the local places of visit. One of the best resorts we have been to in Karnataka

I had a wonderful stay at this resort! The staff is so sweet and wonderful. I had no problem from checkin till check out. The sight seeing spots recommended to is were really beautiful and we had a good time! Their swimming pool is the best and we spent so much time in it. The resort is spacious with a lot of activities, i would recommend all types of groups be it family or whatever! The food in the resort is also really tasty and they cook as per our taste. The rooms were clean and the house keeping staff did a thorough job when we asked them to clean the room. I really enjoyed my stay here and i would recommend you all to stay here!

Had a great experience visiting Silent valley. Had been here in 2019 and this time the property has expanded. The food was amazing and the staff were courteous and helpful as always. The resort is well maintained and the rooms were spacious. Would definitely recommend.

The service and rooms are very bad. We booked Vila but ty gave us rooms.it was a family get-together and we went in group but ty gave us rooms very far. Even rooms and bathroom were very dirty and hot water was not thr. Even ty didn't gave us clarity of kids tariff and later ty charged full for kids which was not worth. Very bad experience

This place sucks dirty room, unhygienic bathrooms and they will not give clarity on the rooms they provide they are very manipulative. We booked villa but when we went there they gave us some small rooms and the service is very bad. While checking out also they created lot of issue. My suggestion is not to choose this place if u are planning for a good vacation

Not strategically located. Poor maintenance. Unprofessional staff. Food not up to the mark. We didn't even have water from midnight till 8 am! The only good part was the swimming pool.

Average resort standard. Food quality below standard. Wanted to advice the Chef. Unfortunately the Chef refused to meet.

Stayed for 2 nights, we were two bikers on a ride to Kalasa & places around for our monsoon ride. Though our demands and expectations were very less, place was neat, clean, serene, Nic location with a good view. We did see a couple of families and group of friends enjoying their time in the pool (was well maintained). Food was good, though a limited menu, met our expectations. Service in the room was quick and very responsive. The Errand boys were super responsive and the folks who manage the place Dayanand and Sanket were super attentive and managed the show well. Will we recommend, yes a big thumps up. What could be better Wifi at cottages too, though liked the fact that we were cut off from signal.

It's an wonderful place for Family with kids. Giving best food and all kind of facilities.all facilities are so friendly. Really we love this place. Rooms are so clear and facility team is always checking as mentioned time and requested base also. Providing very very tasty food for even for Veg or Non-Veg guests. Thanks for all team

2.the surroundings and resort very peaceful, beautiful and greenery

3.food is very yummy and hygienic.

4.hangout time very joyful, they arranged campfire.staters veg and non veg ; chicken mutton france fish all varieties they provided

no extra charges for all above.

5.resort head john brother allways available to listen if any issues and will resolve our issues.at last i will tell one thing.i have visited so many resorts and hotels.

As the name suggest the Resort is quite peaceful and lavish. There is separate cottages and villas for private stay.
In house food is also tasty veg/non-veg both.
Adding to this there is a big swimming pool.

Dirtiest pool with broken tiles in it. Terrible food! Be it break fast, lunch or dinner everything tastes awful. Food ordered separately was way too salty and tasted bad.
The staff will make no efforts to give you good food.
The management staff are not the nicest people. They won’t hesitate to tell “our food is the best, you probably have a bad palate! ” Rooms had no Air conditioning, which was not communicated during booking. Basic amenities like drinking water, kettle and foot rug was not provided in the room. However the rooms were decent and clean! The location is beautiful. Well, that’s all the details I can recall from the unpleasant stay I had there for 2 nights.

Nice place to hangout.food is too good.delicious.u get swimming pool to play and even big ground can utilise to play volleyball, cricket.but we played lagori.we got new rooms it was too good.camp fire they put it was last till 12.service also good

Great hospitality! Food was great not much variety but it was tasty, dey were kind enough to prepare special biriyani for us,

The resort is located at a very quite place and is very peaceful. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was good.
There are few things that looked very incomplete and could be maintained better.
Water in swimming pool was not the cleanest.water was not clear. Though a old and huge space, the landscape could have been better. Room amenities were lacking. Clear communication could have been made on AC usage. The jug was filled with water instead of water bottles to be provided. The cupboards were smelling with balls.
It's an amazing property if maintained and managed well.

Per head they charged 1750 including 1 meal and 1 break fast except food anything not clean and no hygiene in web site we saw some rooms we got other rooms like old huts in toilet nothing is working and bathroom also not clean Continuesly its getting bad smell not worthy for money if possible I ll upload rooms pics also. Suits the name they have christened. Very silent. One reason is there are no mobile network except Jio. Incidentally there is no Wi-Fi as well except in the lobby. You can cut yourself off from the rest of the world.

Pretty spacious rooms in the villa. Clean bathrooms and surrounding. If you need anything you have to drive 6-8 kms to kalasa which is the nearest town.

Disappointed with services, basic ameneties like bedsheet, blanket, washroom were not clean. Unhygenic washroom, below average food.

Accommodation was not good. Price is high. No exra activities. T. V.was not working. No games full boring day spent in the resort

Peaceful place with very less vehicle noise and pollution. Rooms are comfortable, staff is good and very polite, food is quite good; they serve many food items with generous amounts.
Staff was helpful in organizing our itinerary for sight-seeing and treks in near by places. They talked to local jeep and auto drivers and helped negotiate price for travel.
But rooms lack regular maintenance, some of the rooms have leaking roof and insects on floors and walls. Overall we had a good experience.

Place can be reached by trvelling. 100 kilometers distance from Chikkamangloor. You will definitely get a drive in Forrest road.be careful about wild animals mainly elephants.u definitely get a drive and view of mountains.
Rainly Season is good for visit.
The place is quite silent place.good for weekend stays.u must get a privacy there. Ac and Non-ac rooms available.

We stayed in the resort over the weekend.the view from the place was absolutely gorgeous. The food was very good.the place is very family friendly.manager and the management were very helpful. They guided us to place to avoid places from landslides. Only negative is that there is too many insect near the room. And the place is still under-construction

One of the best resort at a best price in and around kalasa. The view of the hills from the resort was just so blissful and the rainy season was heavenly feeling. If u are a person who want to stay away from internet and noise this is the best place. The hospitality is really amazing as all the staffs were really supportive and helpful. Special thanks to Manager Dayanand who made our stay very pleasant and was very co-operative. They helped us plan our holiday and visits better by helping us with the easy and safe routes. Food there gave a complete homely feel. Pool was pretty well maintained and hygienic. The villas were neat and clean and hot water water facility was good and on the whole amazing experience. If u love nature with a quiet surrounding this is just the place and it is near to many tourist places. Best resort experience.

There is no Wi-Fi that is what i have to warn you people and the place is very very much beautiful.wonderful nature high mountains hills.there is swimming pool and there are many many insects so if you are scared or allergic to insects it is not a nice place to visit for them and food is very good non veg and veg very nice place again must visit.very beautiful memories.

We wer 8 member for 24hrs hm, fire camp at night, he has pool, very good villa but cost is more, and food is not suitable for South Kanadigas, we r from South Karnataka its not suitable for us, and main thing is u can see rise of sun morning, from top foggy, 3 or4 km of trekking from there's top view amazing, that is best part
