This is Chandan Reddy R, and I worked at SiliconIndia from 2017 to 2023. It's been 6 years. This company is best for freshers, especially those who don't know how to speak English or haven't completed their degree. However, after 1 or 2 years of experience, working here may not be advisable. If we stay beyond that, it might be considered a waste of time. I experienced this firsthand, so I am writing this to advise against working here after the initial period. In SiliconIndia, there is little that is commendable; it feels more like a slave's jail. I worked under Manager Rajan Singh, and I didn't find much value in my time there. SiliconIndia still relies on outdated technologies and processes from the 90s, and there is a lack of opportunities to learn.
Here are some points based on my 6 years of experience:
1. Discrimination Against South Indians: Individuals from South India face challenges in growth. They are often singled out for small mistakes, scolded, and sometimes forced to leave the company. There seems to be a bias in favor of Hindi-speaking individuals.
2. Lack of Corporate Processes: The company lacks proper Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Changes in rules and processes occur without clear communication.
3. Long Working Hours: While in India, most employees work for a maximum of 9 hours a day (including a 1-hour lunch break), at SiliconIndia, the expectation is to work from 9: 30 in the morning to 7: 30 in the evening, totaling 10 hours. Even working for 10 hours doesn't satisfy Manager Rajan Singh, who seems to expect employees to be available 24/7.4. Unrealistic Targets for Executives: Executive-level employees are given targets that are nearly impossible to achieve within a 12-hour workday. This leads to executives working extended hours, often up to 12 to 13 hours a day.
5. Favoritism and Sycophancy: Some team leads and process team members seem to be overly friendly with managers, which translates into faster promotions and better hikes. Mistakes are overlooked for these individuals.
6. Rapid Promotion Without Experience: Individuals with 3 to 4 years of experience or exceptional talent are promoted to team lead positions within a year. However, those lacking experience or the ability to handle a team are assigned to process or QA roles.
7. Ineffective HR Team: The HR team at SiliconIndia is ineffective, taking 3 to 4 months to settle matters after an employee leaves the company.
8. Inappropriate Language in Meetings: The use of inappropriate language, including the use of the "F" word, is common in meetings and messages, even in the presence of female colleagues.
9. Managerial Expectations: Manager Rajan Singh emphasizes leadership over being a boss, but in reality, he behaves more like a dictator. Employees are expected to respond to messages even during sick leave, hospitalization, or while driving, with late-night messages being a regular occurrence.
10. Preference for Hindi-Speaking Individuals: Hindi-speaking employees who are subservient to managers or team leads tend to receive better projects, hikes, and incentives. Talent and hard work don't seem to guarantee growth. Some South Indian team leads have been serving for eight years, but their growth is limited compared to others.
11. Challenges in Background Verification: Although SiliconIndia claims to have a great HR team, my experience suggests otherwise. Upon joining a new company after leaving SiliconIndia, the subsequent employer faced challenges in promptly verifying my background, indicating a lack of efficiency or time management.

Worst interview process time waste they will not give feedback about interview. If you give perfect interview also rejected.they will say simply, you will rejected come after one week r three weeks, again happen same thing Hr doing time pass.dont spoil your life by join in silicon.worst worst worst worst worst worst company.

Its a fake company. I got an offer letter from this company but they denied to add salary details in the offer letter, so I don't know for what that offer letter is. When I asked that I need salary details in my offer letter they are telling me that they will cancel my offer. Such a great behavior. By the way, I have read many reviews about this company and all are saying the same thing that the company is fake. They only exploit people.

Ravi (Thukali) i strongly suggest you guys who ever comes to interview, don't join his team (Online team) @personal experience, Worst Tl ever seen, he scolds in kannada for North people, coz they can't understand what he is speaking.

Just I went interview they take my resume and they have technical questions of my skills
And HR round they will explain about company and salary.

They don't care about anyones time.they took my test and told me that we will call you after this they didn't inform anything it's already 20days gone.

This is the waste company where we will work for more than the salary. And in the 4th floor the manager named as RAJAN he is no1 sico guy who forces the employee to work more than the time. Bcoz of his force many of them were dropped of from job.so form my side it's a suggestion to don't join the. Company.

Please don't come to work here. This is the worst company ever.after working hours, they will told u to sit another 2 hour to work.

This is good company but some manager and team leader is worst in 4th floor and second floor manager and team leader are friendly mainly Sumit and Rajesh das, suvendu das

Waste company HR sherly she don't how to take interview.she put SA writing competition not take interview. Please don't go interview on this company wast of time.

Worked there for 3 months (work from home) salary was on time and TL s were good stopped working bcs they calles to office

Attended Interview but was given false points which wasn't said by me in the interview and sent me away.

I had very bad experience in this company. I want to give rating in -nus but that option is not available here.

Great environment & best platform for freshers to build their career. Great opportunity to learn & explore new technologies. Very good salary with attractive incentives.

I suggest not to join india database team (koya team). Because if u dont complete the target then next day u have to face circimstance of his awakard behaviour.

The worst company. They give a lot of pressure and tension to employee.
For there profit they can change the working time. Sometimes you also go on staturday for work without pay. This is worst company I never seen waste of time.

I went for an interview there. Rather than concentrating on professional questions, the hr asked me about my family background along with other insensible personal questions. I am disappointed. Personal questions should be avoided. It's illegal.

Nice Place to build skills and learn about the technologies and team work and other softskills too. I have enjoyed my life here.

Subham bandil theri Maki chudu u r torturing girl in the office. This worst company ever I hard ever in description u ppl r mentioned 9.30am to 7.30pm working hours bt u people r making us to work till 8.30pm to 9.00pm. U don't have sisters in home. If u repeat this again. I we know what we have to do. U basted.

This is worst company. They didn't follow their own rules. They dont care about their employee's. Worst environment. Team leaders are worst

A analytics kind of stuffs, they people r doing there. But sometime again u have to give tests or interviews to sustain there.
