Not even worth of giving 1 rating for service. I have experienced worst service, finally not happy and even rooms are not kept clean

Beautiful place. Feels like isolated.within the estate full of Areca plants. There is a stream nearby. Best homestay in the vicinity. Food is excellent. Very homely. Very tasty.

We had visited this place once in 2012 and now 2 weeks back during May 2023. We love this place absolutely. The serenity and nature around is so calming.
We stayed in a shared villa and it was well maintained.
Food here is absolutely delicious and we get to try a lot of local delicacies which is a plus. Great hospitality by the host family.
Most tourist and trek places are close by to explore.
Would recommend this any day over any resorts in the area.

Serene chill place to spend quality time with family and friends.
Their food is amazing! I really enjoyed the veg food more than the non veg tbh.
The service is great, there's less mobile network connectivity but they seem to have a 70mbps wifi installed at all places.
There's a campfire, there's indoor games in case you decide to spend more time here than roaming around.
I believe they can arrange alcohol for you as well.

It's a fantastic place to stay for a vacation or the Kodachadri Trek. The rooms are beautiful and well-maintained. Healthy homemade food is prepared for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

There are a lot of equipments to play sports in the homestay like Table Tennis, Football, Chess, Cricket, Badminton, and Carrom. The staff are very kind and will help you with your needs. You will also have fast Internet access here.

I highly recommend buying Honey from here as it's harvested on the farm. The Honey is pure and contains no preservatives. The homestay is also just in front of the bus stand.

I can assure you that you will have an amazing experience staying here as you will be in between nature.

We rented a mud cottage and brick cottage for 2 nights. The rooms are located in the middle of 15acre beautiful farm land. Brick cottage is very spacious and a separate room is available for dressing. Sit out area is provided where we can relax while enjoying the nature. Mud cottage also has an extra room with single bed, but not spacious when compared to Brick cottage. Both the rooms are clean and well maintained. Food comes with the package. 3 course of vegetarian meals with coffee/tea in the morning and coffee/tea with snacks in the evening is provided. Every dish is authentic and tasted great. It's so hard to skip a meal during the stay. There is a water stream at a walkable distance from the property where you can spend time and let ur kids to play in. Friendly Staffs and quick service.

Wonderful place for a weekend getaway or otherwise. A beautiful property hidden in the forests near Linganmakki river.
The rooms are nice and cozy, reaching the property is really easy and you are stunned by the beauty of the place once you reach.
But the best part is - the service, people at the property are so warm and make you feel totally at home. The food is home cooked and is served with such love!
The property is for people who like to be in the midst of nature and enjoy the beauty of the place.

This was the 3rd time we visited simha farms, rightly located if u r planning to visit kodachadri, sigandur, jog falls, kundapura. Mr. Aditya took real good care, excellent homely food. We had our 7yr old fussy kid, accommodated all requests. Mr.srinivas in Hargett of kitchen gave us wide varieties of local cuisine. Rooms were very clean, we chose brick cottage as were 3 adults with1 kid. Woke up at the calls of peacocks and lovely nature sounds. U can walk around the estate. Transport to nearby places were arranged. If u travel by bus, there is a stop right in front of simha farms, madodi bus stop which is very convenient. We as a family have always opted for simha farms for stay during our visits to malnad.

We had a fantastic time at Simha farms. The food served is also authentic and delicious. All the staff is polite and humble. A must-visit place to relax in the western ghats.

Very Polite staff and food is really good. They serves only veg but they serve non veg also by requesting them. We requested Chicken fry and curry and they are too good. And surrounding area is superb.

The best place to unwind, connect with nature, meditate, connect with yourself etc. Excellent rooms, great food, awesome nature and so very peaceful. The best place to listen to nature.

The location is very good. They provided very good food and different items in each meal. The hosts are very nice. The place is pet friendly.

Pathetic place to stay. The place is actually ok it’s too heavily priced. You can get a star hotel at this price. It’s just a simple farm. Not at all advisable. Not friendly staff. There are better place around. Food is also disgusting.

We stayed in Simha homestay (4 nights workacation) and the experience was awesome. The farm is super, filled with greenery and sculptures built by Mr. Simha. The rooms and surroundings are super clean. Mr. Aditya, son of Simha made sure our stay was perfect. The caretaker, Vasu made sure we were well taken of. Food is super healthy and delicious. We were pampered by all of them during our complete stay. Aditya helped in booking a jeep for the Kodachadri trek and a visit to Hidlumane falls. The trek was a memory to cherish.
If you are planning a visit to Kollur, Sigandur or Kodachadri trek, this is the perfect stay.

A kind of jungle resort with an economical and affordable price.and the vegitarian food here is very homely. Very good place for those who expect to stay in nature.

Simha farms is one of my favourite one in karnataka, they have good food, cottage with absolutely beautiful scenary, good service and if one have to experience to stay into woods and feel relaxed simha harms is the right choice.

One of the best homestays around kodachadri.food is very tasty with authentic touch and well maintained rooms and farm. Especially in the times covid. I think you must try simha farms whenever you visit kodachadri.

I have visited this place a few months ago, and I still remember some of the best time I had spent. I usually do not write any reviews, however, I should never miss writing a review on a place, that I loved the most.

One must book the room in Simha farms in advance so that they can prepare our rooms. In case you need food, you can inform them while booking your rooms.

Likewise, I and my friends booked our rooms in Simha Farms along with food. You get only vegetarian food and non-veg is not available. We reached the farm around 9 PM and we were terribly tired and starving. We just wanted a place to stay and eat some food. As soon as we reached the farm, we immediately had a hot shower. We then had some party and then had dinner. Even though I love eating non-veg food, I personally liked the vegan food that is offered in this place. Also, the owner of this place also arranged for a jeep, so that we can go to Kodachadri peak in the early morning next day. After we come back from Kodachadri, we saw the actual beauty of this farm. A beautiful garden, artwork, and statues were also there, which we didn't observe on the day we checked-in (Obviously 'cause we reached in the night!).

Overall, I and my friends spent a good time staying here on this farm, and I wish to come back to this place again.

I have visited this place many many times and its one of my fav. Located in the midst of areca nut (betel nut) plantation on one side and forest on the other, this place offers great malenadu (aka malnad) experience.
Rooms are well sophisticated, clean and hygienic. They serve variety of delicious home food. Guests get to relish authentic malenadu dishes.
Owner of Simha Farms is a very courteous man. He has vast knowledge about surrounding places of interest. An artist himself, one can have joyful conversation on a variety of topics with him.
Apart from spending time inside Simha Farms, one can visit dam backwaters, waterfalls, Kodachadri hills. If you show interest, guest house owner even arranges jeep ride to said places.
Overall, its a great place to spend few days!

Simha Farms is one of those finest places I have ever been in Western Ghats, and the way Aditya has created this beautiful nest in the palms of Kodchadri hills is just amazing. Thanks Aditya for proving me a wonderful experience there and wish you all the very best.

One of the very good home stays i have visited till now. Hospitality and the authentic local food are the best. There are plenty of places to see around and the Adithya always helps in arranging the trip. I have visited the place multiple times and in different seasons but it has never disappointed me.

I have been visiting Simha farms since its inception. Even after moving to United States, it has become a ritual for our family to visit Simha farms, every time we visit India.

I have seen it grow and expand since its inception and a few things that have not changed are its exceptional hospitality and genuine Malnad cuisine (and yummy too). I still remember talking to Adithya and his father during the early days about the vision they had for the farm - to provide authentic Malnad experience to all of its guests. After so many years and visits, I can vouch that they still stay true to that vision.

Its a magical place with very friendly people. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Their hospitality is excellent and during every visit, Adithya/management has gone out of their way to support our needs during the stay, even when we stayed there with our 1 year old. I have recommended the place to so many of my friends and they all love the place! If you want a quite retreat from buzzing city life and experience nature’s tranquility, this is the place made for you!

Simha farms are a repository of “nostalgia” and “dreams”. If you love nature, want to get lost into it and still come back for an evening of impeccable memories, this is the place to go to. Almost cut off from outside world, things move at a lovely slow pace ensuring you get back into the “rhythm” after all those “urban madness”. I have stayed at SIMHA FARMS twice, both during the romantic monsoon season, and those few days accompany with me for a lifetime journey. The place around the farm itself is worth exploring, and the wild stream in front of the property is a “place to go” during the monsoons. Traditional, hygienic and simple vegetarian food are delicious and the crispy hot evening snack delivers that much needed energy after a long day in the mountains surrounding this region. SIMHA FARMS are located close to major tourist spots, and also to the hidden treasures of Western Ghats which only few dare to explore. It is one of the best choices for those travelling in small groups to Kodachadri, Kollur Mookambika temple and Arashinagundi falls. Visit once and you may return again, as I did, and I reckon I will continue to visit this place many times in the years to come. As a last request, don’t forget to buy the farm honey when you depart from this beautiful place. It will sweeten the departure with beautiful memories, even long after you have reached your distant destination…

I am a regular visitor and I enjoy going to this place. Its Nature lovers delight. Tucked inside Western ghat it's home away from home.

This is best experience of Malnad one can get (I am Malnadiga too). Rooms are simple but comfortable. Food is also simple but very tasty. I enjoy authentic Malnad dishes. This one of the very few places where I have seen the owner having food along with the guests.

Simha farms is like home away from home for me. It's one of my favorite places because of many reasons. The location which is close to kodachadri Hill, also numerous waterfalls, backwater area which is ideal for those who want to get away from stressful city life. It's a paradise for photographers because of the scenic localities around simha farms.
We have stayed here several times, in all seasons. Recently we held a photographers meet at this place. The owners, Adithya's family were great hosts, they went great lengths to provide us best of the facilities. We enjoyed the food here which was tasty as well as hygienic. Upon request they provided the local malnad dishes which were enjoyed by our friends from Gujarat, Maharashtra and Punjab, who were trying these for the first time. The place was neat, rooms were clean and well maintained. They arranged vehicles to kodachadri and waterfalls for sightseeing.
This place is for those who want to stay in a peaceful place away from all the hustle bustle of city life. Best time to visit is winter but those who want to enjoy the rains of Western ghats should try during monsoon.

I always cherish my trips to Simha Farms. It has a homely environment set in the typical Malnad region. The prime attraction for me to visit and revisit Simha Farms is the easy access it provides to nature, be it the backwaters of Linganamakki dam, or Hidlumane falls, or Kodachadri hills and so on. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The food they serve is simple yet tasty. It has that Malnad flavor to it which I love. And the rooms are comfortable. To top it all, the owner Adithya takes lot of personal interest to ensure his guests are well taken care of.

I strongly recommend Simha Farms for those who want to get away from the city buzz and spend few days in the lap of nature.

Not suitable/safe for family. If large group, then stay in dorm. Location is good, but facility understaffed (in fact, only one staff). The lone staff was very helpful and courteous. Expensive for whatever is on offer. Plus very unsafe at night, given the remote location, and few other guests/staff.

Never book more than one day. Overpriced rooms and overpriced food. Much better options if objective is to visit Kodachadari. Management hostile, rather than being friendly

Amazing experience. If you want the best home stay experience, this is the one one should be looking for. Nested in the mesmerizing alley of western ghats, the place is filled with lush green flowers and plants. A very calm and serene place, not filled with people around. Aditya sir is a wonderful host and and artist and looks after the necessities of all the guests in the home stay. They provide very good quality and varieties of food. Best suited for everyone, friends, family etc. Has many indoor and outdoor activities and more over it feels like a Hallimane (A proper village house) of western ghats.
Many places to look around such as Hidlumane falls, Kodachadri trek, Jog falls etc.

Beautiful, impeccably clean self-sustaining farm with all required amenities. With extremely warming and talented hosts, this place becomes a must visit if you want to have a peaceful quality stay. It is more than worth every penny you'll spend.
We stayed in the villa which is a 4 bedroom and has a grand washroom. We liked the farm so much that we changed our plan to be able to stay one extra day there.
They served us organic food from the farm and yummy pakoda with chai in the evening to enjoy the rain. They also have all the stuff for games like cricket, football, badminton, carrom, chess, basketball etc.
