Sly Granny, Indiranagar

Visiting sly granny on a Sunday afternoon/evening - would recommend you AGAINST it. They have limited sea food and chicken options in starters and mains. To top it all, they had no fish dishes for the day. The service is slow and the servers couldn’t care less about getting you the menu, let alone the food. The food was strictly okay. We tried the mushroom kulcha and roast chicken. Would be a no no as a place to visit again for sure.

They dont have beer on the tap ejoch i felt for an upmarket pub, which is a let off. It was a saturday night, and the music gig was a pleasant surprise.

Unique experience I would say. Different kind of an "all you can eat" concept. The selection of dishes available are quite interesting. Tried almost 90pc of dishes and almost all of them were very good.

I loved the place. The food is amazing. The service is excellent. Felt happy with the overall experience.the cheesecake was out of this world the grilled vegetables were too good.so was the chicken platter and the Mocktail

We had gone for cocktails on a weekday, and the place was sparsely populated, however it starts getting really busy by evenings. Quite popular for large office groups post work it seems (our last visit too was a large office group)

Ordered cocktails, and there were some quite interesting ones. I had name dropper, which was good enough to repeat and another one chase & status which too was quite nice, but as advertised was fruity and therefore not quite my thing.

My friend had three different cocktails which too were decent.

The non vegetarian mezzo platter was on spot. Nothing extraordinary but perfect workable.

It's a really nice place with a quaint ambience. I dined on the roof top. They do have a lounge setting downstairs as well. I enjoyed the food and the drinks here. Would highly recommend this place for a catch up drink, dates or even when you decide to shake a leg at their intimate and small dancefloor area.

Vegetarian and specially hindu don't go there.they give beef kabab when you order vegetarian food.

Edit: - It was a pleasant Saturday evening, went with my family (A complete Indian vegetarian hindu family) who have never tasted egg!
The waiter suggested few dishes of vegetarian in nature and we gladly trusted them with the selection. That was the end of my good experience and then a horrible tale started with ur family!

One of the waiters (Sandeep) served food on our table which didn't look vegetarian, but he mentioned that it's the vegetarian dish that we ordered.
We tasted a bite and something was obviously wrong with the order! When enquired with another waiter, we came to know that it was BEEF!
Just imagine, what these buggers messed up!

The story doesn't end here, Mr. MANJUNATH (floor manager) apologized for the mistake and when confronted, had the audacity to tell! - "I am not charging you for it! " As if not charging will make things right for the sin they committed!

The meat variety and quality was awesome, Hot toddy with Hennessey was great, other mocktails too. Service brisk, staff very caring.

During my recent visit to Sly Granny for dinner, I encountered both positive and negative aspects. The food, including the Mushroom and Caramelized Panini and Quinoa Salad, was delicious. However, the service left much to be desired. The lady waiter was pushy about time and constantly upselling, making us feel rushed and uncomfortable. While the ambiance was pleasant, the overall experience could have been better with improved service and attentiveness.

DHABA is written on the building when viewed from the road. Inside the premises, in a small board is where Sly Granny is written. They have Valet parking. This location is on Third and Fourth floor.
There are few options for vegetarians. No soft drinks/ Mocktail are offered with the food. You have to order separate.
The sweet dishes are English; if you prefer Indian sweets more, you won't enjoy the sweets.
For a non vegetarian and Alcohol consumer, Rs 2,400 is a steal.
For a vegetarian, non- alcohol Rs. 1800 is overpriced and the takeaway is only good ambience.

Came here for a friend's live gig. Dj MANDIS was spraying his disco vibe all over the place. And Sly Granny was the best to take it all in. The restaurant has different vibes across both the floors. One is retro themed and makes you feel like you just travelled back in time. The food was great. We had the pulled pork slider and the meat platter. The slider was amazing. The platter was just okay. But I once ordered their meal with the salmon. It was just, fabulous.

Food and beverages are good, service is okay, ambience is amazing. Good place for happy hours.

The ambience is welcoming and the staff are polite. Dining here was a pleasant experience. The food is good. However, I didn't like the coriander kaffir lime chicken skewers, it had a strange taste. The classic Margherita pizza and crispy chicken with fries were good. Overall, it's a nice place, I might come back.

The service at around 6pm on a weekday was quite slow - despite it being empty. They were short on many alcohol brands and trying to empty the used bottles. Their claim is that they are not buying due to increase in prices.

If u want to try something different in food then go for it. A full plate of desserts was served in the end which was worthy.

They have three floors and all three floors had their own and distinct appeal. Loved the art work that they have put up. Would definitely visit there again. One should definitely check out the rooftop here. I had a great time here but i think they should add more washrooms.

Sly Granny, a delightful name that caught my attention, is a bar and restaurant located in Indiranagar, boasting a charming vintage decor. What truly stood out was their breezy rooftop, exuding fantastic vibes. Although it may be a tad expensive, the food at Sly Granny was exceptionally delicious. The staff members were incredibly friendly and sweet, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Our visit on a Tuesday turned out to be even more enjoyable as we indulged in quiz competitions while relishing the flavorsome dishes. The smoke chicken pizza with its thin crust was simply amazing, leaving such an impression that we couldn't resist ordering it again. Additionally, the barbeque chicken wings were good but slightly sweet for our liking. "
The name board is not visible properly from out side like other nice restaurants.

The ambience was pleasant.
The food quantity and taste were both above expectations. They have unique names for some popular dishes.
Would recommend for a visit

I had visited Sly Granny first in Khan Market Delhi and was highly impressed and had the same expectations in Bengaluru as well.

The menu has changed a bit from my last visit, nonetheless it lived upto my expectations. I missed the red velvet cake with raspberry sauce that I had tasted in the past from the menu, if the management is reading this needs to be introduced back in the menu.

The Ambience is perfect for a Date night, and you can opt for roof top seating if you want to party.
