I had been diagnosed for pilonidal sinus. Dr. Parameshwar told that it would be a day care procedure with laser treatment. It sounded very light in the beginning but when got into the details, I was informed that I had to be admitted, had to take drip, and that the surgery involved saddle block injection. I could not really digest the information and what bothered me the most was the saddle block anaesthesia information. But to my surprise on the day of my surgery i.e Dec 1,2021, what I feared the most i.e saddle block injection was painless, I mean there was no pain at all. Really a big thanks to Dr. Bipin Mathew Thayil Sir for such a painfree saddle block injection. Dr. Bipin sir was very friendly, caring, a good guide and was a great support for me in the operation theatre. Also I would like to thank Dr. Parameshwar sir, Dr. Sujeev sir and the team of doctors who treated me for a painless surgery. A great team of doctors.hats off to Smiles. Dr. Parameshwar sir is a very friendly, calm & composed and a caring person. His words and delicate dealings really makes me feel very relaxed and fearless during the follow ups. I also thank Dr. Sujeev sir for his timely response. My only suggestion for improvement would be to employ more skilled and experienced nurses. Otherwise it is a very good hospital for all colo-rectal problems.

I was with a 3 month old baby when I decided to go for a polyp removal surgery at SMILES. I was in so much pain through my pregnancy and post c-section. Such irresponsible call executives are taking appointments. They don't even know whose appointment they are fixing at what time. Came from far and realized neither doctors nor receptionist are available. This is so unprofessional.
Today I had an appointment with doc Pavithra for constipation, she called me and spoke for 20 -30 seconds. She did not ask any details. She said will message table take it every night. Really bad experience. 500rs is not worth.

I visited the smile clinic yesterday and i am 6 month pregnant. Dr. Parameshwar CM told me that i dont have major issue and he did not explain clearly also what i am having. But when i see the prescription i found i am having the chronic fissure.he was not listening also what i am trying to say.this clinic just taking money he charge too much money that is not expected.now he is telling me to do surgery post pregnancy. These people are just money minded and not explaining thing to patient.he was just talking about his qualification nd experties.its too bad to they should do like this.they are just looking for surgery and making money that's it.dont visit please if you have any problem related to piles/fissure/or fistule.these institute will make worst your condition.i never write for any doc till now but i am writing here because of now a days people are taking health as playing game.

I had been diagnosed with grade 4 hemorrhoids and had to go through surgery. The overall experience was very good and I got back to work in just a week (actual recovery depends on the severity of the case). I went to HSR branch and Sowmya Shiv (GM- Patient Relations) along with the whole smiles team took great efforts to make my visit a hassle free experience. Dr. Parameshwara CM listened to my problems patiently and explained the grade of hemorrhoids I had- this was done with the aid of imaging/tests and is done real time, there wasn't any wait time for the results. After first visit I was asked for surgery the following week and the operation was done without any issue- all the staff at similes and Dr. Parameshwara again took great efforts to make my surgery experience hassle-free.
Overall it was an amazing experience and the services provided by them are really good. They deliver on what they promise and I highly recommend smiles to everyone.
Visited this clinic on 25th Feb 2021 for a second opinion with my fissure surgery planned on 26th Feb in a different top world class hospital. Dr. Parameshwar examined and clearly explained the problem that it was multiple issues including fissure and would still need a surgery however it would be painless, bloodless laser surgery. Did not charge for the consultation or the scanning charges. Next day got admitted in the morning, underwent surgery and came home by evening. Was up and back to my regular routine within 2 days, however he asked me to maintain a strict diet for 4 weeks.
Soumya was very helpful and detailed out the entire process of prehospital and hospitalisation including insurance details. I saved about 30k compared to the other hospital more importantly saved myself from a painful procedure. I have heard they do surgery without charging a penny for the poor and the needy on case to case basis. As a matter of fact, I was discharged without my insurance being approved and was asked to pay if anything during my first follow up. Such a gesture during these days is very hard to find.
Dr Parameshwar is not just a world class doctor in gastroenterology but a humble human being. God bless you sir with good health so that you can serve more and more people in need. Very strongly recommend for all your gastroenterology related problems.
This is an honest review. A very good hospital specially for your gastrointestinal problems. I had been their for my abscess and fistula treatment. One of the best hospital in north bangalore, this kinda hospital very much needed, more over the neatness was atmost care during this pandamic time. I was skpetical to go to hospitals but after meeting the staff and seeing the premises I was convinced about their housekeeping. All rooms were sanitised and kept neat. The doctors are too good to listen to your agony (because i was experiencing the pain in sensitive area) and treat the same by filling lot of courage (which is very much required for us at that moment) should i tell you one more thing.the cost is very reasonable when compared to so called big hospitals which is just for name sake. Overall a good hospital filled with good treatments and neatness. Keep it up.
