Taste was OK. Service could be better. Can employ a person only to serve food. Dirty tables, didn't see anyone cleaning tables the entire time I was there
Went here for the first time, and ordered something different from what they are known for USP dishes - egg dishes, ordered Gobi Fried Rice and Paneer Chilly, although there are huge crowds even on weekdays, its worth the wait in a decently well managed queue, now coming to taste, I wasn't expecting the veg items to be as tasty as their other signature egg dishes, was pleasantly surprised to find veg to be really good. It is on the spicier side though, but tingles your taste buds, unique taste and flavors, piping hot, spicy and juicy Gobi Fried Rice. Was also surprised to taste the chilly paneer, that was really soft and coated with their secret special masala, different from the regular Chinese flavors, they also have a dedicated place in basement where you get tables and chairs to sit and eat, there is no service here, its just self service. In fact, my friends who were eating egg rice with me, found the Gobi rice to be better - taste is subjective though. Totally worth trying here, worth the hype and revisiting again!
One of the best visited egg rice shops ever, It tastes awesome, i would recommend everyone to taste it once at a time, the staff are well maintained, the rates are also budget friendly, all the days it will be crowded.
One of the best restaurants to have Egg rice and egg masala. Those two are the most popular dishes here. Egg masala is creamy abs yummy. Make sure you're ready to wait in the line atleast 10 to 20 mins if your planning to visit in the evenings. You get others dishes also like Gobi and paneer Chinese items.
Never try anything from this place, unhygienic once they served food it had smell and about to get spoilt, worst behaviour with customer so better don't try at all and never believe food bloggers and try out here it's not worth at all.
Don’t let the size of the shop fool you. It offers one of the best egg dishes in Bengaluru. It’s heavily crowded and people often stand in queue and wait to eat. The prices are decent and the food taste is amazing. Try the egg masala
I don't think it's worth the hype the food is average the egg rice tastes like tomato bath the quantity is more and one egg rice costs around 75 but there will queue every time I have been around that place may be the other dishes are good there's many varieties okay for once
Visited the much hyped place recently and tasted their egg rice. I didn't like the egg rice as the taste was not something I was expecting. It was spicy but also sour. Not sure if it was from bad batch that day.
Half egg rice and half egg masala! Would suggest and recommend this, they give take away as well, the quantity that they serve is also good, worth that price, But the taste that was there 10-15 years back is not there as the owner is always outside and his staff take care of things now.
Be careful when you take parcel. If the preperation has some fault like more salt or if it's spicy, they pack that and give it as parcel. Since the place was crowded, took 7 plate parcel. But ended up throwing everything as salt was to the extreme
Once on street, now in a store with so much of delicious stuff delivered fresh to many foodies. Nothing to complain on the taste but kindly follow some hygiene, for example the egg cutting thread isnt been replaced for years, I guess. In this covid era, would be good to follow hygiene in eateries.
Before wen it started the egg rice was good.but nowadays they are adding excess ajinomoto to the food.we might get stomach upset fr their additives not recommended if u luv ur stomach
The taste is decent. Time to get a veg order is bit more than that of egg orders. Gobi Manchurian, Veg noodles also tasted good besides the egg rice. Be prepared for a long queue to get your order placed.
Egg fried rice is very different from the usual fried rice they use flavoured ri ce, the worst part is it's already precooked and stored not an big fan of Egg rice but, the. Main highlights are Baby corn. Pepper dry out of the world must try
Nice place for having food but the place is hyped. And they are increasing the prices more often and now it's not worth the price. We have some parking problem also near shop. Eggrice, eggmasala.tastes are average
My friends recommended this place and taste is good and less quantity and there is no place to sit and not cleaning also didn't find place to wash hands, very crowded.
Looking for a egg rice! Then you must try this snehajeevi gowdara egg rice located at the Malleswaram. Not just egg rice even can try egg masala omlet and more. Here the waiting in queue be like 2 -3 mins max.affordable price. Parking is kinda hard for 4 wheeler's need to park bit far from the store.must visit place.
Nice place for quick egg rice & egg masala, For which it is well known place. Egg rice is available both as full plate and half plate. Economical and tasty for once in a while eatout.
Always very crowded. They have a bigger place downstairs but for some reason, choose to keep their egg rice business in that congested area. Good to see them accepting UPI (only recently). But not yet available for online delivery.
The food here is not worth of all the hype. This place opens at 11am and they'll start preparing foods. I literally waited for 35 mins to get it in my hand. Normally there'll be a little rush by filled with students as it is near to MES college and other colleges. Half plate egg rice is ₹40 as a reason of covid they serve it in parcel foil box. They also prepare all other types of egg dishes and other Chinese items. I visited this place after seeing so many people's post and was waiting to taste here but i was little disappointed about the quality. Quantity wise is okay as it satisfies but it is not actually worth of hype.
Visited after watching a video in Food lovers tv. Stood in a queue to get food. Ordered one egg fried rice, egg noodles and paneer chilly. All three were bad. Egg rice and noodles were salty. Egg rice was more of a strong masala rice with little traces of egg in it. Not sure of the reason for its high patronage. Random roadside shacks have better taste and quality.
Seems to be overrated place by Food bloggers! Didn’t find anything special.just rice fried up with egg & chillis! It might have had a history but as most of legendary places, taste has lost its way! Take away egg masala was horrible!
Just visited this place because of the hype created. Waited for almost 35 mins in the queue to get my order and while we were standing, we could see a lot of people started standing behind and the queue started extending. So this further increased our expectation as we stand and waiting for our parcels to receive.
The order was nice and hot in a foil paper box. But the taste was a let down. Nothing great for the hype created. We ordered egg rice and egg masala.
Very normal food and don't understand the reason for so much crowd. Then I see that most of the customers are College/school kids and this place serves good quantity of food at a very less price.
Egg Rice and Egg Masala is authentic. Serving, taste all in order very good. Best place to have hot egg rice with spicy. Chilly weather is best part to have
Awesome place for Egg Fried Rice. Egg Masala is also very good. Its a quite known place around the area.you will get many other starters which are just okay okay. Gobi Chill is also one item which is good.parking is little difficult around the place.
Well-known in the entire locality, the place attracts crowd of all ages. You will generally see people standing in long queue in front of the kiosk for the famous dish - egg rice. The dish is spicy and has only tiny chunks of egg in it. I advise you to order egg masala with it, and coke is a must need too. They do have a seating space downstairs, you can get the egg rice and use the seating zone to sit and savour the dish.
I found the food to be too spicy and the taste is quite intense. Though many people frequent the place, I am happy with a solitary visit to check out what they have to offer.
The egg rice was okay but the noodles was too spicy and I had a tough time to eat it all.
The food there is amazing. You have to try the egg masala dish. Worth the price. Only drawback is that there is less space. The shop is also very small so when it's crowded then it gets really congested.
The place is special for egg rice we in the demand was more because of that they have price was high were in comparing to otgers at that prices we will get the biriyani only but the taste will be good her
The best egg rice ever. Being an MES student myself, I have eaten this numerous times. Absolutely love it. People from many places come and eat regularly. He's been running it for many years and I believe it will still go strong for years to come
The best egg rice corner I have ever seen. If you take full egg rice it becomes a full meals. The taste is awesome. This is famous one In malleshwaram near MES college. I loved it. Good one. They give a full egg rice for 60 rupees. It's too crowded. People stand in line for egg rice. Good one. Nice one. Recmondable.
Daily 1000+ ppl visit this cosy place to enjoy local Indian Street food. Egg rice is the most common food served on Indian streets. From low class to upper higher class ppl visit this place. That's the speciality of Bangalore irrespective of the traffic ppl from all corners of Bangalore visit this place
The egg rice has less egg in it so it lacks the punch, the actual star is the egg massala.
Would recommend buying some cold drinks to wash it all down. Some kind of seating would have been good otherwise good place to satisfy your taste buds.
Very nice outlet with good dishes. Don't expect a lot, certainly not the best. A full plate of any dish can usually suffice two people. So be cautious while ordering. Online payment is accepted here.
Oh my Godzilla! The best egg rice in town, and egg masala is mouth melting. Can't explain too much, eat it to believe it. Just few meters away from MES college. Will recommend if you are hungry and close by. If you are a champion eater I challenge you to finish one full egg rice and one egg masala. Love the cook and the people who make it happen every moment for the public. One star missing just for the place is too conjured to receive the food and to eat. Make some place I'm sure whole Bangalore would be out there. All the FEAST!
The best Egg Fried Rice I have had in Bengaluru is in Malleshwaram.
My friend took me to this little cart on the road. I normally do not eat in places like that, but the crowd is huge! The crowd is literally in the streets obstructing traffic. The taste is so awesome that we always go there whenever we go to Malleshwaram.
This is their famous egg rice and egg masala combo. You have to eat these two together! They have three guys who continuously keep making egg rice at this quantity and it keeps getting sold out.
I honestly can't believe that a lot of Bangaloreans don't know about this place. Do visit this place and let me know if you think it is as good as I think it is.
Best Egg rice- spicy, hot and tasty. This goes well with the creamy spicy egg masala. Its a must try. No Place for sitting, you'll have to manage standing and eating.
Good place and a cosy place where People love to visit this place for the taste they provide. Evening time they will be having huge rush and they will not be able to provide for all. I know people who come from far place of 15 kms only for the taste and they are very much fond of it. It is located in 90 bus route main road and next to cafe coffee day. Pls visit and taste the spicy food.
