We had the good fortune to have Mr Ganesh Nayak of Sona Caterers for our Daughter's Wedding in Dec 2023. We got served Breakfast and Lunch in
our South/ North Kanara style. Food was excellent to say the least. Every one of our Guests were so pleased with the food and outstanding service, supervised by Mr Ganesh Nayak and his Son personally. We are grateful to them for making it memorable.

We have been utilizing food catering services of Sona Caterers for our family functions now. After a few years break, we reached out to them for another get together, this time for a Grihapravesha Ceremony.

Their food was very good and all our guests were very happy and content with the taste and quality.

I have been knowing Ganesh Naik from 1990's. He had started his sweetmeat preparation n I used to order varieties in kgs during Diwali. Then came atime I just ventured giving him a catering orders for our small function for 25 peopleof which he did a good job Later started recommending n giving his contacts to many. N there was no looking back for him. The food that he served was excellent, very tasty n variety. Those who have enjoyed his sumptious n tasty meals have never had a word of criticism. I have actually seen him growing.its just his hard work n zeal to achieve n stand tall. Sona Caterers is the go to place for our traditional dishes, for those times when you feel you need a much deserved break from cooking and for those times when you feel the need for comfort food. Each and every dish be it vegetarian or non veg is singularly amazing. Each dish like the ghee roast, the Neer dosa, the pepper fries are out of the world. But the seasonal specialities like the jackfruit payasa and the pineapple mango sasama steal the show. Thanks to Shravan Nayak and Ganesh Nayak ma'am. Every occasion becomes extra memorable and special because of them.

The best decision we made is to book Mr. Ganesh Nayak, his son Shravan Nayak and team for our wedding catering. From the day we called them to inform about our wedding till the day of our wedding, Mr Ganesh Nayak himself kept visiting us to coordinate with the decorators on what they will get from their side for the live counter, ensuring we are happy with the Menu we selected and happily accepted any changes we made along with his recommendations. We had full confidence that the event will be managed well by them.

On the day of the reception and wedding, the live counters were arranged beautifully by Sona team, even though due to rituals the event started a bit late and all the guests rushed at once to the live counters, the team managed very well. On top of that the number of guests exceeded much being what we booked, still without the guests knowledge, they managed to prepare extra food quickly and serve each and everyone one equally. The guests were treated with warmth by Mr. Ganesh Nayak and his son, each and every guests were happy with the service provided by them and informed us in happiness.

Every dish was damn delicious and out of the world. It was served hot to each and every guest. What was more special is the bride and groom were given special treatment and even though it was 12am in the night that the bride and groom went to have dinner, Mr Ganesh Nayak was present to make special arrangements of tables, a huge bowl of roses and water to wash hands and make the team serve hot food to the groom, bride and family. Despite this, he was available at the hall at 5am the next day for wedding.

The service provided is way beyond expectations, and we are damn happy to chose them as our caterers. We will definitely book them to all our future events and also recommend to all our friends and relatives. Thank you Ganesh Nayak, Shravan Nayak and team for the excellent service and warmth. Hats off to you guys, for it's not an easy task to manage putting off such big events without any issue.

They were the caterers for my wedding celebrations for 2 days including the main wedding lunch. Anything that I put down in words cannot do justice to the quality of food and service they have provided. Par excellence in terms of taste, quality, presentation, variety, and most of all, the personal touch of hospitality and warmth by Mr Ganesh Nayak, the MD who himself gets his staff to churn out fresh vadas, biscuit rottis and service to guests. Hiring them as our wedding caterers was one of our best decisions. We wish them all the very best and thank them for their fantastic hospitality and service.

Given the rarity of Konkani cuisine in Bangalore, Sona Caterers is one of the best in its service. Delicious and tasty food cooked with care and exemplary hygienic standards makes Sona outstanding. Even after a year, people still reminisce the scrumptious food served by Sona at my brother’s wedding reception that took place in Dec 2019. By adding the unique homely touch to their taste, Sona has indeed won a permanent place in our hearts.

Authentic Konkani food. Was very good and enjoyed most of the dishes. Loved the Pineapple curry (Mango Pineapple Sasam), upma, Kashi halwa, puri & paneer curry etc.

Sona caterers is one of the best choices I would suggest in case you are looking for Coastal Karnataka style food for any event. Mr Nayak would personally suggest a few dishes which would be available during that season such as Jackfruit payasam, Mango mudulli. Everyone who attended our housewarming were all praises for the food esp the digurji bhajji, jackfruit payasam and many were asking for seconds. Visited a wedding catered by Sona Caterers. Had an excellent experience, and so did the other guests. Great variety of food was served and all dishes were delicious. Not usually a cuisine I like, but definitely loved the food they served and prepared.

I had arranged Sona caterers for my wedding, their staffs are excellent, they managed end to end work, we dint have to worry about anything at all. 3 consecutive days different menu different locations. They managed so well with the left overs as well.
Kadgi bhajo, dalithoy, kadagi randai, pineapple sasam, doodhpank was my favorite, it tasted heavenly, It matched the food that we had in Kashi mutt during chaturmas. I am eagerly waiting to have them for next family occasion.
