One of the best Bengali cuisine restaurant. Specifically during durga puja crowed time they manage the crowed and retained the quality.

Thali was great, cholar dal and radhaballavi impressed the quantity and quality.

Went for a pure Bengali lunch during the puja. As it was puja so it took time for us to get seats. Once we got the seats then it took time for the waiters to provide menu. That was the only lapse in service. Other than that once we placed our orders service was prompt and fast.
We ordered Basant pulao, kosha mutton, aloo posto, bhetki bhapa and radhabalvi. In starters we had ordered macher chop and chicken er chop. Both the starters did not have chicken or fish taste as it was mashed with so much other veggies. In the main course, except the mutton kosha and bhetki bhapa did not like the other items. Aloo posto lacked the taste of posto. Basanti pulao didn't had that sweet smell as they don't prepare with authentic gobindobhog rice. Also the basanti pulao had big slices of ginger. We also had aam pora shorbot which was tasting more like jal jeera than aam pora.
As an Bengali in Bangalore, went to this place thinking we would have proper Bengali food after reading the reviews but not upto Bengali standards. Also missed few Bengali delicacies like fish kabiraji, poostor Bora etc.
But ambience was awesome. Playing old Bengali classics.

The food at sorse is soulful. Being a Bengali who's staying away from home during Durga Puja, nothing makes one emotional than home food. Great job guys, keep up the good work

Today I went there for dinner pickup for myself, ordered mutton kasa and chingri malakari (both half plates for own), I would recommend this is one of the best places to have authentic Bengali cuisine restaurant in Bengaluru.

This place is a must visit for people who prefer Kolkata/Bengali dishes. I had ordered a macha chop and it was delicious. Next came bengali veg pulao which is sweet as per taste and I kind of liked it. And lastly I ordered paneer Kalia which was too sweet as per my taste (should have specified for medium spicy)

Food was awesome being a Bengali I like it so much. Though many items were not available but what ever we had it was great.

I usually hop here if I am craving patla jhol. The have moong musur mixed daal which I like. Good place to satiate your bong food cravings.

Visited this place recently craving for Bengali cuisine and I wasn't disappointed.
Right from Bhoj Thala to the 10-in-1 veg Thali, the food tasted awesome. What I really loved about this place is the polite and prompt service and the economical rate. The quantity of the food was pretty sufficient too. Also, the washroom was neat and clean. Will visit this place again, soon!

Average bengali restaurant. Don't expect anything extraordinary. Some days the taste of food is excellent hut some days the taste is average. Pricing is sensible. Bengali thalis are pretty good. Quantity of food is also good.

If you bare looking for a bengali cuisine this is the perfect place to take your wife or friend.

1. Ambience: Ambience is really good with lighting and bengali music playing in background having a visual of cultural painting which perfectly suits you bangaliana. I will rate it 5/5.2. Food: Food is also good and you will get variety of options. I will rate 5/5.3. Service: I will rate 4/5. They provide a good service but they add service charge extra on your bill along with 5% GST (you can ask them to remove the service charge).

I am a regular customer to this hotel, today ordered food on Swiggy.at the last minute hotel cancelled the order.this is not acceptable and also very poor in customer service

They followed all the safety precautions including social distancing. The food although was not upto the mark. The biryani was dry, fish fry had more filling than the fish. Even the prawn malaikari was too overpowered by the coconut milk.
