I must say, north indian thali was so good.
I have tried a lot of indian veg khali, but this one was good.

For the price food is really really hygienic and staff is polite. I dont know why this restaurant has low reviews despite offering hygienic food.

South Inn restaurant is located in HSR layout, Sector 7. This restaurant is closed to our house to we visit her very often. Their sambar is just too good. I don't typically like the red sambar as there is usually no taste. Try their idli wada and sambar, it's good.

It's value for money and they do accept payment through cash, card and all UPI payments. I love their tea. Their Masala dosa and Puri sabji are good too.

Very Good Vegetarian Food in HSR 7th sector. Dosa, Idli, poori baji, Kara bath, Podi Idli, chilli Idli, kuzhi paniyaaram etc are very good here. Sambar is of Tamil style. Meals, Curd Rice Sandwiches, Juices Shakes etc are also available.

South Indian dishes served hot and authentic. Especially breakfast items such as dosa idlies and vada. Prices could be made affordable!

Amazing restaurant for yummy pure veg tiffin, rice items, meals, snacks, tea/coffee and cool drinks. Taste is awesome, quantity and quality is well designed, sufficient and maintained well here. This is the best restaurant in the vicinity in compare with all other less cost but least quantity/quality restaurant in Sector-7 HSR. Coffee is the highlight and bench marking one, don't miss it. I strongly recommend South Inn to the neighborhood, friends and family.

Uncooked set dosa and sambar was tasteless but size of masala dosa was huge but potato Inside was stale.very bad experience

Hi, my colleague recommended this place. Fish kebab is very tasty. I like plain biryani rice as well. Even my daughter like these dishes. I see more of South regional people here, order meal with non vegetarian starters like fish, egg etc. They serve food in banana leaf, good way. Higine and interior are ok ok.

I like idly, dosa and pongal here. The breakfast combo is also really good if you want to have a brunch. Filter coffee and tea is also nice.

You can sit with almost anyone and finish your food that you have ordered. Nice and fresh food.
No outside food allowed. I used to eat my lunchbox inside.

While I truly prefer my Masala Dosa to be the thicker Karnataka variety, I like my Rava Dosa and Uthapums to be Tamil style. Hence I find myself at South Inn quite often. Excellent collection of chutneys as well. Very basic atmosphere though.

It's a popular south Indian restaurant and famous for Udipi dishes like Dosa, Idli etc. Also famous for fresh juices and Lassi in Juice Junction. One can find timely options for various vegetarian dishes. Menu is well developed and self service is a nice option to get the moderate rates. Variety is the species of life and South Inn is capable to fulfill the hungriness.

Its a good enough place to have your breakfast or evening snacks along with tea/coffee. They do provide other dishes also which i haven't tasted. It's located in HSR Layout.

The bill has Tamil dish names the cashier speaks tamil, and worse expects me to speak Tamil too.when in Karnataka why this is happening? Why can't you learn kannada? The food also is not that good, ts okay. The kitchen looks okay w.r. T hygiene, seating tables are poor

Excellent South Indian food and superb coffee. Authentic sambhar and all the dishes are very tasty. Be it rava masala dosa, regular dosa, idly vada etc.and value for money

Very bad food, dosa completely stale, and in online orders, they don't give bhaji with poori, and when you call them and tell them they would simply disconnect listening it's a complain.waste of money. Never gonna order from them again.

Really good place for breakfast or lunch. There are lunch combos or south thalis available at lunch hours. South thali is really good. Usually you will get a seat here, may be shared though. Service is quick and the restaurant is fine considering hygiene.

Really a very decent restaurant that preserves the flavours of Tamilnadu style food unlike other restaurants. Quality of food is also very good.

Quality of food is usually much better than most other places I visit. The service is good. Sitting places is also good. Have tried juices, dosas, idli vada and midday meals here. All good, none to complain about. Don't go for the north Indian stuff here. That's not really worth it.
My only complaint here is that about a year back a cigarette shop was opened near the shop and cigarette smell comes often while sitting and eating which is horrible.
Rest everything is good.

They kinds of have a decent mix of chutneys and Dosa. Much satisfying then other nearby places like Vasudev Adigas or Asha tiffin's. Yes the options are a few, but quality over quantity folks.

To give a good taste to your tongue buds just visit it. Good place for breakfast at reasonable fares. And dont leave it without having a cup of Coffe/Tea. Go for it

The idlis were to die for. The food I really, really good. And affordable. This is a gem of a place. The people are also nice. I suppose it could get crowded in the office-going hours but if I lived around HSR, I would get my breakfast from here at least two times a week.

Food is good here.but they always serve food in plastic plate. Eating food in plastic plate leads to cancer. But knowing this still they are using. This has to banned and has to be changed. Very bad.
