I'm sad to rate this legendary thate idly place so low. Quality has gone down.
Cleanliness and atmosphere is big issue.
Also nowadays you get better thathe idly next to your house in bangalore, why go this far.

I loved Idly smooth and puffy, was served hot. Gonna give it a 7/10.

Speaking of Vada, nah! Not so good dry and not so unique. Gonna give it a 4/10

Was served with just chutney, A big disappointment for sambar fans like me

We visited around 8.30pm so idli batter was not fresh, idli was sour chatni was good.singli idli cost is 30rs which is not worth

Most of the time u will of out of chutney. The time chutney comes to you. U will have no longer needed it.

One of most popular Thatte idli shop in Bidadi. Always crowded must visit and taste soft idli and vada. Parking is big problem but some however it is managed by hotel.

This humble eatery serves excellent thatte idlis and medu vadas (udin vadas) with a spicy chutney. The idlis come with a dollop of butter and spicy dry potato curry. This is an unusual combination, because you get it only in this restaurant. These accompaniments elevate the meal to another level. This is a very popular pitstop for travellers on the Bangalore-Mysore highway. Not surprising, given the taste and value for money (2 large thatte idlis and a vada, with unlimited portions of chutney and potato curry comes for Rs. 50). You can end your meal with very good filter coffee.

Oil they used was black. Looked like it's being used for days. Food quality was not good and taste was also not good.

This tiny shack in Bidadi serves the best tatte idlies hands down! Extremely soft and hot, one can gobble down 3-4 at a stretch. Service is excellent and prices are extremely reasonable. We tasted medu wada, lemon rice benne masala dosa and mysore masala dosa. Each item was very tasty and we just couldn't stop at one. Masala vada was the show stealer and after we tasted one each we couldn't resist another one. To finish the meal we downed a filter coffee. Although a little dilute and less quantity, it tasted good. Highly recommend this breakfast place to anyone going via the route.

The quantity is going down day by day. They use to serve hot idlis but not anymore. Service quality has come down drastically and not just the taste. Just the hype around place left in that place now. Disappointed.

I am from Delhi and travelling by car from Bengaluru to Mysore with my client.he forced me to stop at this restaurant and ask me to have idli there. We had idly there and found marvellous and unforgetable taste I have ever eat during my all India travel. It was so yummy and hieginic.

If you ever get to travel towards Bidadi, stop at the bus stop and visit Renukamba Bidadi thaate Idli hotel. This is the actual and original, authentic Thatte Idli hotel there. Eat Idli, vada and Chitranna and thank me later.

Superb Taste. To enjoy the taste you have to be hungry and eagerly waiting for thus hotel or it is known as Sree Renuka Tiffanies. Very cheap. Original Renukamba Tatte Idly was small less space now expanded just 10 meters away from original location with more tables. Chutney taste is unique.
We started from Mysuru at 0530am. After about 122kms ride on left on service road at Bidadi you can find Renuka Tiffanies. Ee reached exactly at 0800am the real breakfast time. When you travel from Bangalore this hotel is after they're Bidadi bus Stand cross over to the other side. Plenty of parking about 10 to 12 cars can be parked. But park near the service road not deep inside near hotel to avoid ur car getting blocked by another car and they are busy eating.

Excellent place for snack on the way to Bangalore. Tasty, hot, soft and fluffy idli with super crisp vada served with a bucket (literally) of amazing chutney.

The taste of idly with butter used to be awesome earlier but lately the hotel has become too commercial and has lost its food quality and taste.
They serve half steamed/ half cooked idly when it is crowded.
Over crowded on weekend's.
Not that hygienic with flies buzzing around.
Parking space is limited.

Avoid this hotel if possible.
